Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

It's staying light longer and we are taking the opportunity to get well and truly upduffed, yes that's right, three BFPs in one day! That's the May bus for you.

Pogmella · 17/05/2015 20:56

How are you feeling Miss?

nightandthelight · 17/05/2015 21:08

So sorry for what you are going through Brooke :( it does sound more like a urinary/kidney infection than a problem with your reproductive system though!

Hi Carlton :) Well dtd last night but too exhausted tonight (well hill walking) so the plan is first thing in the morning before work. As long as we are doing it at least eod I am happy :) Am hoping for a fixed smiley tomorrow too, if so will do tomorrow morning and then also try Tuesday morning if poss!

Had a lovely weekend, much if it spent outside which is great :) my whole body hurts now though!

thanks for asking pogmella i feel completely normal like its not real.. i thought i would feel different Hmm . . how are you?

Carltonlives · 17/05/2015 21:35

I'm good thanks night! Ovia reckons my most fertile day will be Friday so we are trying eod at the moment! I'm not used to all the leftovers though so I feel very damp all the time (sorry tmi!)
Usually It's quite obvious when I have ewcm but I haven't seen any so far this cycle, hopefully I will in the next few days Smile

Pogmella · 17/05/2015 21:36

Impatient! Think we're into 2ww territory but pestering me every other day anyway just in case... Already convinced myself I can feel goings on in my body on a cellular level which is clearly crackers!

Pogmella · 17/05/2015 21:38

*pestering Mr- aware this is a team effort! Reassuring to hear that feeling normal might not rule anything out Smile

Mumof1sofar · 18/05/2015 05:48

Found you all! How's everyone doing? Good luck to all in the 2ww/currently shagging their way through their fertile time!

Sorry to hear that Brooke. Hope your gp can sort it out quickly for you.

Af arrived yesterday so onto cycle 4 for me Hmm

nightandthelight · 18/05/2015 07:10

Go Carlton! TTC is a messy business unfortunately.

Had a fixed smiley this morning so bum is on pillow Grin

Sorry to hear that AF arrived mum, however cycle 4 is where it's at!

wishiwaspregnant · 18/05/2015 07:23

AF here too! Followed by big temp dip. Although that is gutting it's good to see that temping is working for me. My chart looks good. Short luteal phase though of only 11 days if FF is correct. Therefore I'm going to give the opk a try this cycle and vitamin B6 to try to extend that luteal phase. Onwards to cycle number 6! Common June! Let's get some more BFP!!! GrinGrinGrin

pulpi · 18/05/2015 07:24

AF finally gone, so now we're ttc-ing again. Cycle 6. I should be on the June bus, but thought I'd hang out here a while longer...

wishiwaspregnant · 18/05/2015 07:26

Ooh for the stats>>
Cycle #6 BFP due 19th June

pulpi · 18/05/2015 07:31

Oh right, good point wish! The stats:

33, ttc #1, cycle #6, BFP due June 6.

Carltonlives · 18/05/2015 08:16

AF SUCKS mum and wish! Eat chocolate pronto Flowers

Unfortunately my arse is nowhere near a pillow night! The toddler woke up at 9pm teething last night and refused to go back into her own room so we couldn't dtd last night or this morning Sad
Hopefully missing a couple days won't make too much difference as I don't think I'm ovulating yet

Carltonlives · 18/05/2015 08:17

How are you brooke?

nightandthelight · 18/05/2015 08:18

So sorry for AF wish Flowers

Sorry to hear that Carlton, will you be able to get it on tonight?

Brooke113 · 18/05/2015 08:25

Sorry Af has reared her ugly face mum and wish

I slept alot better last night thankfully :) going to pop a sample into my gp's later and they'll dip it and call me with results later today. I've still got cramps. Not as bad as they were though, but pregnancy "symptoms" have gone today, no more achey sore boobs which is worrying me. I keep prodding them to see if they're still tender Blush and nothing this morning Sad

Carltonlives · 18/05/2015 08:25

I hope so!! It will probably be at 7pm and deadly silent but I don't care about that, I just want the SPERMZ Grin Grin

Carltonlives · 18/05/2015 08:27

Glad you're feeling better brooke. No af though? That's got to be a good sign. Not having symptoms doesn't mean anything, lots of women don't know they are pregnant for weeks or months remember xx

nightandthelight · 18/05/2015 08:31

I know that feeling well Carlton! Had a bit of a panic as it didn't look as though DH would be up to dtd this morning but he finally rised to the occasion Grin fx you get your sperm this evening!

Good luck today Brooke, fx your tests are all ok Flowers

Ahh, here you all are!!!! I couldn't find this on my phone and even just created a second bus so that someone would point me in the right direction lol! OK off to catch up with the weekends chat. Smile

pulpi · 18/05/2015 09:09

Sorry about AF's arrival, brooke. Hope you're feeling better soon!

pulpi · 18/05/2015 10:34

Seeking some advice. But first, the long-winded preamble:

So, since January my period has been a little odd. Well, December maybe. I was regular 28-30 days, then all of a sudden December was 25, January was 35 (!) and every since it's been 25-26 day cycles. Granted, there's been a fair bit of stress (finishing the PhD, new job, AWFUL guests that tried to steal off of us but as they're family we're stuck seeing them every bloody holiday), and the DH's sperm was knocked for six by a miserable fever and chickenpox arriving in a rather delicate area, but I'm starting to worry a bit. We're both taking the Pregnacare conception support this month, so I'm hoping that has a positive effect.

A circuitous route of getting to the question, which is: has anyone else noticed a change in their cycles since they started trying?
