Right, tonight I will make sure she is locked in a cupboard well and truly fast asleep!!

Thanks guys Smile

Brooke113 · 19/05/2015 09:28

Sorry things didn't go to plan last night carlton I don't think tonight is too late to dtd at all, this cycle I had a positive opk and v.bad cramps on bank holiday Monday, so I guessed I ov'd that day at some point, and continued to have Ewcm for at least the next 7 days, good luck for tonight x

Still cramping today, have took paracetamol. Really struggled to walk. Dc to school this morning, felt like I was going to puke the whole way :( have forced myself to eat some toast.

Carltonlives · 19/05/2015 09:36

Any more blood (in wee or af) Brooke?

Fx for you xx

TeenieDeenie · 19/05/2015 09:45

Morning all!

Brooke sorry to hear you're still struggling, FX you get some relief soon! Flowers

Carlton I'd agree with Dizzy and Night, if you're just noticing ewcm then it's likely you are approaching ov, tonight should be fine. Smile

Great info ladies re the tilted uterus!!!! My GP commented when I had my last smear that I have this so from now on it'll no longer be bum on pillow, but pelvis on pillow!!! CD35 here, am going to test Thursday morning. Guessing I will be 12dpo if going by opk but sceptical I ov'd this cycle so who knows. At least if BFN then I can prepare for AF and starting to temp.

Brooke113 · 19/05/2015 09:58

No more blood carlton but the cramps feel just like Af cramps. Why am I getting these? I feel so miserable :(

Carltonlives · 19/05/2015 10:07

Morning teenie Smile

brooke I had day-before-af feeling for the first couple of months of my last pregnancy. It doesn't mean you are any less pregnant at this stage. When will you test again? Hang in there Flowers

Brooke113 · 19/05/2015 10:17

Thanks carlton it's just worrying. I constantly feel like I'm going to find Af when I go to the loo. The doctors said they don't do an acknowledgement of pregnancy until 2 weeks after missed Af. Will test again Friday if Af doesn't arrive x

TrixieRay · 19/05/2015 11:12

Hi ladies, just checking in on the new thread- thanks Night!
Three BFPS in one day Smile excellent work.
I think our chances of a BFP on our last cycle before IVF are slim. Only DTD CD 12 and 15 due to DH being away, pretty sure I ov on CD 14 or 15 so I guess there is a chance - FX

pulpi · 19/05/2015 12:30

Non-ttc update: I got the job!

nightandthelight · 19/05/2015 12:33

Whoop whoop pulpi! Major congrats :)

You are still in with a chance Trixie and if it doesn't work you will be starting IVF, so exciting!

Pogmella · 19/05/2015 12:49

Yay! Go pulpi!

birchygoo · 19/05/2015 12:56

yehh pulpi things happen in 3's so lets hope a BFP is one of those 3 :-)

TrixieRay · 19/05/2015 12:58

Congrats Pulpi, hopefully you will get more good news soon Smile

I know Night- had our pre IVF check up yesterday so all feeling very real. All getting put back two weeks though as the clinic only do egg collection/transfer as certain points in the month so have to take medication to delay AF - will still do a test when I would be due though just in case!

nightandthelight · 19/05/2015 13:07

Gosh very real Trixie! Fx for you that you get your sticky bean straight away :)

Brooke113 · 19/05/2015 14:03

Congratulations on the job pulpi

Fingers crossed those two days were the lucky days trixie

Thisisbonkers · 19/05/2015 14:19

Gah. This is all so frustrating, as I have an irregular cycle it's impossible to know when I'm due on. It can be from anywhere from 28 days to 35, but has been as late as 41 (when not ttc so you can imagine the panic!).
Today is day 31. A test on Saturday (28) and this morning came back negative (BFN? Still trying to learn the jargon!). I'm not feeling particularly close to period starting, although I have gone spotty (I swear my face was clearer as a teenager Angry) and my trousers are snug (I was away with work last week so..!).

Could/should I expect a faint line on a test by now if I AM pregnant? Or am I having a long cycle and just have to wait it out? I swore I wasn't going to get obsessive about this Hmm

birchygoo · 19/05/2015 15:45

Hi thisisbonkers do you know when you ovulated?

I have up to 37 day cycles but my af nearly always comes on around 14 days post ovulation

wishiwaspregnant · 19/05/2015 15:53

Congrats pulpi so exciting! You obviously impressed at interview! Is the new job within the same company? As how will mat pay work?
Brooke hang in there you will be fine!
Lots of love and luck to everyone on dtd and POAS! Xx

Thisisbonkers · 19/05/2015 15:58

Hi birchy, I don't, no. I ran out of the pee stick things over the bank holiday weekend so that's just over two weeks ago (they didn't show a 'go go go!' signal).

So basically I have to be patient. I'm not very good at that! Grin

TeenieDeenie · 19/05/2015 17:40

Oh my god. I've just taken a FRER and the test line is darker than the control... I am shaking... BFP!!!!

KleineDracheKokosnuss · 19/05/2015 17:46

Congratulations Teenie

So ladies - I am joining you this month as I'm finally biting the bullet and going for number 2. Which is slightly scary.

Question on the stats though - what is OTD (it's been a while...)?

88blueshoes · 19/05/2015 18:06

Congratulations teenie! This really does seem to be a lucky bus.

Welcome kleine! I assumed that OTD meant official test date, not sure though.

So I've just been reading the mumsnet TTC pages and was alarmed to see that they recommend a visit to your GP before you start trying. I have not done this. I have been taking folic acid, trying to eat healthier etc but it didn't even occur to me to go and see my GP before I'm pregnant. It's always so hard to get appointments that I'm amazed they even do pre-conception checks.

Have others been to see their GP?

Brooke113 · 19/05/2015 18:11

88 I did go to my gp before we started trying, mainly so it was down in my notes so they can see for themselves how long we've been ttc.

teenie huge Congratulations to you!

I am having awful cramps again :( I'm so fed up, think I may phone the doctors tomorrow, as these are really getting to me, I really don't think things are good :(

Rachelc82 · 19/05/2015 18:26

Hello everyone. Can I get on the bus. Me and DP TTC #10. Start of the tww today. Anxious but been here so many times before Hmm. AF due 2 June.

Brooke113 · 19/05/2015 18:27

I don't even think there's anything the doc can do yet, I just want confirmation that the pregnancy is OK, as these cramps are killing me, paracetamol isn't touching the pain and they're there all day :(
