Interesting to hear about your acupuncture Dizzy. What made you decide to try it (sorry if you've already said). Great that it was relaxing - that can only be a good thing right? Hope this is your month!

88 we've been ttc #2 for 14 months now. NHS can only help with prescribing clomid and we will need to go private if that doesn't work so we decided to try a few other things before even thinking of IVF. I had a few cycles of reflexology but to be honest I didn't find it relaxing. I then looked into acupuncture and decided to go for it. The lady has a specialist interest in fertility and is also qualified in herbal medicine.

Dizzy sounds great. Hope it works for you! A friend of mine faced the same issues when TTC #2 so I know how frustrating the NHS offer is.

We were ttc DD for 3 years, well 36 cycles to be precise. I'd do just about anything to avoid going through invasive fertility investigations again. I know a lot of people who have had success with IVF but for me it's a last resort.

Thanks for asking carlton I barely slept last night as the cramps were so bad, and I'm sure I had some spotting too :( will know for sure in a few days if it is a chemical pregnancy. It's horrible isn't it :(

Thankyou :) my other two pregnancies were not like this at all :( I did have a mmc around 2 years ago, but can't remember alot about it, I didn't know I was pregnant until I mc :(

So the moral of the story is, I won't test early next month, as this has left me completely heartbroken, there's blood in my urine, Af is on the way :(

Sorry you're not feeling any better today Brook. Try a nice hot chocolate too. Try not to stress as much as you can, I know it's hard though.

Is the blood in your wee?

It is yeah, had a tiny bit of spotting before bed last night, no more today, just blood in my wee :(

Oh that's not good, the pains you're getting, are they mainly in your back?

Brooke that sounds more like a uti or kidney infection if its in your urine?

brooke blood in your wee doesn't sound pregnancy related to me. Do you get it every month before af? I would go to your docs again tbh, the pains could be a urine infection

Yeah that's what I was thinking, sounds like it could be unrelated to pregnancy. If I was you i'd go to the Dr's again. or if you are still in a lot of pain then perhaps out of hours Dr's could help?

Sorry if TMI, but when I pee there's blood in it, but none when I wipe, I called my surgery earlier, thank god they're open on weekends too! They said, that it did sound like Af was due and that it was a cp, as I'm getting strong Af cramps, they never mentioned kidney/uti at all, I wonder why? I've been thinking Af is coming all day again..

I peed blood once when I had a kidney infection- I was chilly and achy all over with awful back pain if that helps.

Blood in your wee sounds more like bladder/kidney infection or kidney stones. Kidney stones can cause excrutiating stomach pain. Can you not call your EPU at local hospital for advice? Even if just for advice as to whether or not chemical pregnancy can cause blood in urine? Hope your okay hun x

Blood in the urine = get to the doctor soonish. Probably a rather miserable UTI, but if it goes bright red/brown (and no yellow wee) then it might be more serious (as in a really REALLY miserable UTI or kidney stones) and you should probably barge your way into the doctor's surgery.

Are you prone to UTIs? If this is your first, the symptoms can be awful and frightening. I remember wondering if I'll ever be able to wee pain-free again. Cramping, constant need to wee accompanied by burning and miserable pain. On the upside, there are some great drugs to knock it out!

Not much from me, I'm due in 6 days but haven't had a proper regular period for ages. I've had some twinging and TMI tugging in my vagina?! Anyone else had this? Also keep needing to pee. I so hope it happens for us soon, doing home artificial insemination with a 13 and 2 year old isn't easy!! And it's not the most pleasant experience in the world anyway!!
