Lumen, 35, ttc since Nov 2011, unexplained, two IVF cycles in 2014, both bfns, waiting for lap&dye and results of numerous bloods, aiming for one last IVF cycle in the summer.
Tigerdog, 34 ttc since Jan 2013. Unexplained and all test results good. Currently in the middle of long protocol IVF, 13 eggs collected and awaiting news for next steps.
Gillster, 41, TTC since Feb 2012. Had IVF in Feb 14 and had 6 one cell embies frozen due to polyp. 2 x 2 day embies finally put back 14 months later on 16th April, BFP 28th April
Smidge, 39 this month, TTC since Jan 2013. Unexplained. IVF#1 Short protocol July '14 BFN, IVF#2 Nov'14 and IVF#3 Feb '15 both Long protocol BFNs. High NK cells immune treatment. 2 frosties due to be put back in natural FET in May or June.
Kuma - 40. TTC 2.5 years. Low AMH high FSH - DH antisperm ABs. Failed IVF June 14 and March 15. Looking to change clinic and try another natural cycle in June 2015.
Lucieloos, 35, TTC 18 months, low AMH & sperm motility. 1st ICSI in Czech Republic in April 2015. Awaiting results.
Barkingtreefrog, 35, ttc since Dec 2011. Clomid bfp summer 2013, mc @ 7 weeks. IUI bfp summer 2014, mc @ 7 weeks. Diagnosed with factor v leiden thrombophilia (but
not thought to be the cause of the mc's as they were too early). Failed IUI January 2015, failed IVF March 2015. No further NHS help. Going private for nk cells testing and a scratch before putting the frosties back, hopefully this summer.
Rain, 33 ttc since March 2012. unexplained. mystery bfp oct 13, MMC Nov 13. NHS IVF starting in June

I was drinking champagne at the weekend (had a bottle in the fridge for ages and it was a mate's birthday so decided to open it) and I was actually wishing it was prosecco (but I'd drunk all that the week before).
I went out for a meal tonight and had too much red wine. This drinking again after so long of drinking nothing whilst ttc is hard work. Must persevere...

Thanks for the good lucks Tiger Kuma and forty. I'm just out. Basically there is one follicle of 19mm and there is something else which they say may be a follicle or not. So they said they would go ahead with EC if we wanted to as they don't think anything would change between this and another cycle. They said the chances are very low though, and that I probably won't get any more funded NHS cycles as there isn't anything they can do differently. We are therefore going ahead to EC on Monday and will see what happens. I am so gutted. We don't have any money at all to pay for a private cycle either

Anyway, HB and Spare hope you're both holding up ok!

Sorry there only seems to be one decent folli Beaks. But it sounds as if it still makes sense to go ahead - and isn't our mantra 'It only takes one'? 19mm sounds a good size already for a Monday EC. I shall do some jiggy pompom moves to ensure a top notch quality egg is in there.

I was doing ok but today I am going out of my mind! If. It wasn't for the crying incident last weekend I would almost take a plump that I was pg (especially given how distended and uncomfortable my abdomen is). But I can't forget the emotional outburst and analysing what it means. Anyway only three more sleeps to go.

Oh, beaky, I'm sorry it wasn't better news, but that's one great sized folly, so fingers crossed they perhaps get more than one egg out of it. It only takes one!! And if they're not choosing between embryos you'll be spared the nerve-wracking wait to see what happens to them between day 1 and 5, they can just pop it safely back in . And then you'll only have the 2ww to deal with....

Minx I feel your pain. I'm doing an exam in a few weeks and I have a 4 hour revision class tomorrow . Will definitely be indulging in some Champers tomorrow evening à la Lady Wild. We have a fair bit of fizz still left over from the wedding so it'd be rude not to. I haven't had a drink since Easter though so don't think I'll need much. Has anyone got any tips for preparing for egg collection?

Beaky do you have a drop box account? I have some tracks that I listened to that I think I could share if you PM me your email address. Not sure how useful they really are but the nurse said I seemed very relaxed! I stopped using all perfumed products and removed nail varnish etc. but nothing else really. Just take it easy.

I've only skimmed iswte but i think I'll be ordering ubiquinol and dhea.

Good luck today minx! The rest of your weekend sounds great once you get the exam out of the way. I will also be off the booze again after this weekend. I find I can easily go a couple of months at a time without drinking these days. The challenge for me will be giving up chocolate as it is my go to alternative to wine. If I could afford it, I'd go on a detox retreat but they are around £1k, which seems a lot!
