Sorry to everyone who's af arrived.

Sorry I've been absent - still on holiday and still in limbo!
I'm dpo 18 - so officially 5days late. No sign of af. I'm not temping whilst I'm away either but they were still high on dpo 15 before I left.
Dpo 16 was BFN.
I've one test with me....not sure whether to use it tomorrow or try and wait another day.
I'm so confused!

birchygoo · 10/05/2015 23:44

dizzy im so sorry AF arrived so unexpected. hugs

BabyBumpHopeful · 11/05/2015 01:43

In the interest of up-to-date stats...

I didn't detect ovulation (I've had a rough month), so far no AF and no BFP.

Today is CD36 of a typical 32-34 day cycle. Normally I OV around CD20, 11 day LP. I didn't detect a BBT rise, but as previously stated, rough month. I also wear a full-face CPAP so low temps. I also ran out of sticks for the CB advanced OPK on CD19 and didn't get the IC's until CD21, and I never saw a positive with those.

Before I ran out of the CB digi ones I had a flashing smilies like normal so I did expect to OV on time.

Anyway, depending what you pay attention do (FF changed my AF due date due to no detected OV) I'm either 4 days late (AF originally due 6th May) or 2 days late.

Symptoms are frequent urination (including waking every 4 hours, man that's gunna get old if it continues) and I'm a little emotional (but there's other possible reasons for that).

Even with all of that, I don't think I OV'd and I think I'm going to skip AF this month. I'm going to try and wait until next weekend to take another HPT and if that's till negative I'll go to the doc to get the lack of period written down (just in case we need help later).

Congrats to the BFP's and condolences to the AF's. Baby dust to all!!

loopylou1984 · 11/05/2015 06:49

Dizzy - sorry for af lovely. That's really mean not to get a warning drop. I've heard one of the girls on another thread say that happened to her once. I would continue temping if I were you, just so you can confirm ovulation happens. Xx

BananaRaces · 11/05/2015 07:06

Aw Dizzy that sucks... Sneaky ruddy witch AF! Angry Thanks

My temp is the highest it's been all cycle, and I've got AF due tomorrow. But I've not temped properly before, so I have no idea whether that is a good sign for PG, or if my temperature just doesn't drop (like yours hasn't this cycle), or if AF is just going to be late!
I really wish I had other cycles to compare this one to! Confused

autonomousplum · 11/05/2015 07:15

Hallo pog yes definitely do eod. Best way without the stress of all the rest! it might get tedious by month five but hopefully you'll be lucky first month on
banana am sooo-oooo showing my age! Grin Temp spike might be cautiously good. Progesterone being doubled up by corpus luteum and embryo! Who knows. Just seems to me things are looking good for you right now! Fx.

dizzy sorry Af arrived :(

Ive woken up this morning to the usual pre Af cramps, so I know she's definitely looming, might even be early this month, as not due for another 6 days...

nightandthelight · 11/05/2015 08:05

So sorry for AF Merry :(

My temp went down before AF but never went below the cover line! Our bodies are so mean to us :(

Morning all! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.

Dizzy and birchy sorry the witch got you! Flowers

Welcome Pogmella wishing you a short journey here Smile

Little update from me... Have had solid smileys on my cbfm on both CD19 and CD25... Blank smileys in between (no flashing)... Seems my body is trying to ov but its still not happened yet. Now on CD27 of a 37 day cycle, who knows what is going on. I think I may be out.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent thermometer? I am going to try temping next cycle so I can see if/when am ov'ing. I know on of the other ladies asked this, but do you start temping from CD1 ie the first day of full flow?

nightandthelight · 11/05/2015 09:47

Sorry to hear of lack of ov teenie :(

You do start temping on CD1 although I started the last few days of my previous cycle in order to get used to it :)

TeenieDeenie · 11/05/2015 10:02

Ah ok, thanks for the info night, I wasn't sure if temping was for me but at least if I do this for a few months I can determine either way if I am ov'ing or not. And if I'm not, then the docs may agree to do bloods and see what's going on. My body is still all over the place, so frustrating!

parsnipbob · 11/05/2015 10:37

6dpo today and had a little temp spike. Too early for anything significant I know but I do like to analyse my chart :)

Attached here if anyone wants a peek!

nightandthelight · 11/05/2015 10:51

Nice high temps parsnip! I get much less variation between pre and post ov temps, not sure if that is a problem?

OP posts:
parsnipbob · 11/05/2015 11:02

Night they're high because I'm a foof temper, when I temped orally they were way lower and all over the place!

I don't think that indicates an issue at all provided you can see a temp rise :) Oral temping is a bit less reliable so the pattern is harder to see, but as long as you can see a pattern of sorts you are fine.

nightandthelight · 11/05/2015 11:19

Thanks parsnip :)

AF has come back and I have no supplies in my handbag :(

BananaRaces · 11/05/2015 11:27

Loo roll will do :)

parsnipbob · 11/05/2015 12:04

Oh lush. Cake makes everything better.

I brought baked goods into the office this am.

DizzyMerry · 11/05/2015 12:23

Thanks for the condolences and flowers ladies. I'm feeling much better this morning. Roll on next cycle. I have started taking EPO and ordered CB dual hormone opk along with preseed.

Sammy I did temp this am and will continue to do so. Was just really annoyed last night and threw a massive strop.

Night sorry AF has returned. Our bodies play cruel tricks on us at times. At least you have cake. It always makes things that little bit better.

birchygoo · 11/05/2015 12:33

Sorry to hear about all the AF's arriving!

I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about day21 test. Had my day1-5 test today and asked what the result was from my day 21 test and it showed my progesterone was 63. I understand this to mean that it is an OK level? Can anyone confirm this?

Rememberallball · 11/05/2015 15:16

Teenie, I bought the babymad thermometer from Amazon it cost £4:95 and was delivered free next day via Prime it was recommended by another mnetter. The one I got is hot pink with a flexible tip. I was advised to get that one as it stores the last recorded temp meaning you don't have to record it as soon as you take it.

Although I'm mid point in my cycle (cd18) I started temping on Saturday as it arrived on friday and will give me a start for next cycle.

Rememberallball · 11/05/2015 15:20

Birchy, that does sound good. I'll look at the results I've got as its got the expected ranges for results on it. I know on my previous bloods my progesterone was
