FF can be wrong wish, pretty sure I ovd CD11 last month not CD9 as it claims. However it looks as though it may be right this time. However sperm can live 5 days especially if you had EWCM :)

CD14 here and 4th day of a "high" on my OPK so hoping for a peak tomorrow. Had a temp drop today too. We've been going for Dtd EOD but will probably switch to daily for a 2/3 days now.

We're giving it our first bash this month, so 29, ttc #1 cycle 1 and testing probably 30th or later if I can be patient enough!

So far all we're doing is...er, laying together as man and wife every other day- which is pretty good fun! Should I be necking grapefruit juice and Brazils?! Just realising this might not be as easy as we'd maybe assumed...

Woolly I'm fine, thanks for asking. 15dpo and had some tiny brown spotting today. Temp hasn't come down yet to indicate AF but I'm not very hopeful at all to be honest. I know AF will be here soon. Fx for ov being confirmed for you in the next couple of days.

Brooke if you're past ov then you may as well wait for next cycle.

AF was due today parsnip but I somehow got to 18dpo last cycle. On and off AF cramps so I know she will be arriving soon.

OK dizzy thanks, welldone for getting to 15 days past ov without testing! So your temperature should go down the day before AF arrives is that right? Keeping everything crossed for you for this cycle x

Annoyingly I'm off on a girls holiday (well not annoying at all really) but it will be in my fertile window so I'm pretty much out for June too!
I've promised DH I won't run off with a Turkish waiter! However there is still a slight chance if I do OV late as I am back on CD18. So I'm kind if hoping AF is late this month to buy me some previous time!!! Fx! dizzy you have commendable will power! I would be very intrigued to test! But you are doing great holding off the urge! How is miissmartiin? Anyone heard from her?

Welcome pogmella! I think the every other day approach is ideal, you're covering all bases that way! I wouldn't worry too much about the grapefruit juice and Brazil nuts yet - fingers crossed it's a quick journey for you!

brooke agree with dizzy you may as well wait until the start of the new cycle. It's my first month temping too, hope it goes well for you but fx you won't need to do it and get your BFP this cycle instead!

Thanks Woolly :-) Also, what's the deal with booze? I'm having a glass of wine when I fancy it (so, every day at the weekend...) but sticking to one... When should you stop? I'm guessing lots of people conceive when they're actually drunk?!

pogmella there's no hard and fast rule really to the drinking thing, some people choose to give up completely when TTC, others will just avoid it in their TWW. I don't think a couple of glasses a week is an issue, the official NHS guidance for women TTC is "1-2 units once or twice per week and don't get drunk".

Welcome pogmella. I am astounded that people get upduffed after a one night stand and various other drunken encounters. Next cycle I will be doing exactly as I please eating and drinking wise I say the same thing every cycle knowing full well I won't

update from me: so I knew AF was arriving and it arrived about an hour ago. It wasn't a big surprise as I have been cramping all week and had a bfn! Oh how I hate those bfn, if I ever get a bfp I dont think I will actually believe it! So onto cycle 7 for me and I will see some of you on the June bus. according to my app Ovuview I should next be Ovulating on 27th May. Which will hopefully be a nice time as me and dh wedding anniversary is around then and we are of for a mini break. I have also ordered bbt which should arrive tomorrow. Do I start mointoring that during af or when she is gone? Also I am suppose to have my bloods taken tomorrow morning by GP. Af was suppose to come on Saturday. Does anyone know if this blood test tomorrow will work ok as af has arrived so late tonight and what is this to look at? My d21 test showed ovulation.

I've read that in some cases temps don't drop til a couple of days in to AF, so maybe that's happening to you now? Bodies are weird things.

I had no idea parsnip. I don't think I will be temping beyond ov next cycle and just go by FF predictions. I won't feel tricked that way!
