Thunder, well I grew up in Port McNeill and Nanaimo. Victoria is lovely, even if it is so very far south ! My sis is still in Nanaimo and I tried to get her interested in Mumsnet, but no luck so far. I suppose have 2 kids and a full-time job has something to do with her limited amount of time to spend on the internet!

Well zippy and thunder, we'll get our BFPs next month. Are either of you following your temperatures for ovulation? Because I think I might start doing that. I saw the kits at Boots this afternoon, but wasn't sure which one was worth the ££. But in the meantime, put up your feet, pour a large glass of wine (or in my case pop open an Ossian), and eat your weight in chocolate.

pulpi oh no! Sorry! I was just lamenting on another thread that I'm now on cycle 6 ttc since af returned and never thought it would be this long. I have such admiration for those of you ttc for 10 or 18 or 24 months. It sucks.

Right ladies I am really tired so something strange is going on I used to be able to stay up until 12/1 every night if need be and this week it'll be 8pm and I'm wanting my bed. Sometimes even whilst I'm still at work I want to sleep and that has NEVER happened to me before. We have only DTD this past Sat-Mon as DP has been working away (I may or may not have ovulated around this time - no idea). It's maybe wishful thinking, is this even a pregnancy symptom? And would I actually be this tired so early? Either that or AF will appear and has decided to make me sleepy

Sorry i'm not making sense haha i know it's a pregnancy symptom but i mean would it be a symptom this early? I need my bed haha

Pulpi I'm not tracking, but if no luck next month I might start. The fecundity of my family is incredible (on one side I have 5 uncles and aunts, each having between 3-5 kids a piece!) so I have to admit I was surprised not to get a BFP! Maybe I haven't needed to be so careful about birth control after all. [hmmm]

Thanks everyone and good luck to you all. When AF finally shows her face I may actually start temping. I'll talk to my GP Next week anyway. Hopefully I can get a referral and get everything checked out soon.

feels like AF has been coming last 2 days. due tomorrow- will e 14dpo. did test 2 days ago got bfn. would you test again tomorrow morning if AF doesn't show? even though having cramps.

also I'm having friends round tomorrow as well if AF ain't arrived and if I do test tomorrow and its bfn do u think it would be safe to drink? don't want to risk anything...

Any news birchy? Anyone else testing? I'm going to try to wait until at least 12dpo which will be next Saturday! Not much on way of symptoms but I guess you don't get any until implantation? Hmmm... I'm on the fence with symptom spotting... Don't know if it's I'm my head or real...

That's a good way to look at things. Yes, maybe your bloods will give you some answers, and if not then at least it's something ticked off! Xx

Thunder I think that our problem might stem from the boxer brief DH loves to wear. A bit too hot for the balls. Picking up some boxers today.

The massive amount of blood that arrived yesterday has been followed by brown spotting. There's no way an implantation bleed can be that heavy... right?

Hi. I'm new here! Recommended Mumsbet by a friend who had her baby 10 weeks ago.

I am TCC number 1, cycle number 8 after 6 week miscarriage on my first cycle.

I have just started using ovulation testing kits and taking morning temperature, I don't seem to be ovulating. I obviously know I can fall pregnant as I did 6 months ago, but now any tips on promoting ovulation would be gratefully received.

Afternoon ladies, sorry for those whose Af has arrived :( Fx for next cycle for all of you. I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle, don't think iv ov'd, my thermometer came in the post today though, so I'm excited to use that next cycle :)

question for those who temp...I'm an awful sleeper and I'm up 2/3 times each night for the loo My alarm goes off at 7am everyday so I was planning on taking my temp then, although it says after at least 4 hours sleep. If I use the bathroom at 5am, should I temp then, or wait until 7am, only after 2hrs sleep?

hi wish bfn this morning no AF yet but cramps are kicking it up a gear and getting irritable so won't be long. at least I can get blood tests done on Monday then. was hoping I could cancel them - not to be!

I would temp at which ever time makes most sense brooke so if you have had a good 2-3 hours solid sleep before 5am then take it at 5am. Remember no stay in bed under covers while you take it. Do you know why you need to pee at night so much? It's a bit unusual to get up more than once? Have u had a chat with your GP about it?
