thanks* not thats

ZippyBoo · 08/05/2015 09:24

birchy nope never. Was 2 days late once. I normally have a very regular 25/26 day cycle, now on day39. I had a blood test to confirm the BFN yesterday and waiting on the result. I thought AF might have been coming last night but don't think so again now. Maybe it was too many grapes. ??.

Woolly84 · 08/05/2015 09:29

dizzym your family are very lucky to have you Flowers I hope you're taking care of yourself too, I can imagine you must be exhausted but have to keep going and being a rock to everyone Star please offload here if you need to xx how's your TWW going?

birchy lovely hope AF stays away Flowers

Dtd night tonight! Day 2 of flashing smiley...hmm..predicting a Sunday ovulation but who knows...family visiting this weekend so there will be some stealth shagging going on!! Wink

Woolly84 · 08/05/2015 09:30

zippy fx it's a very late positive x

ZippyBoo · 08/05/2015 09:40

carrot thanks for the paracetamol info. I have had a mild headache for the last few days and was hesitant to take anything. It's really not that bad but is a constant reminder of the fact I'm so late. I think I'll take just 1 in the hope it will make me feel better and let me get on with my day.

birchygoo · 08/05/2015 09:44

zippy fx for your blood result - esp as this is so unusual for you! Keep us updated

DizzyMerry · 08/05/2015 10:11

To be fair woolly elder dsis is doing the majority of it. Her kids are are 16 onwards so she offered to stay with DB. Me and other dsis pop in every day. I'm 13dpo with on and off cramps. Not very hopeful to be honest. The shagathon is on in the woolly household! So exciting Wink

Birchy hope AF stays away.

Fx for you zippy.

Woolly84 · 08/05/2015 10:28

Fx for you dizzym I'm still hopeful for you! Smile thats great elder dsis is helping out a lot, must be a great support to DB and DSIL have everyone around.

autonomousplum · 08/05/2015 10:56

Hallo maysies! Welcome to your post-election update. Everyone is hung over from no sleep. And so ends your post-election update.

autonomousplum · 08/05/2015 10:58

Hallo more
Sad birch + thunder

DizzyMerry · 08/05/2015 10:59

Thanks woolly. I'm to the hairdressers this afternoon. DN wanted her hair cut so thought I'd get mine done at the same time. We can squeeze in an hour or so of shopping too Smile

DizzyMerry · 08/05/2015 11:00

Plum you're hilarious Grin

CarrotVan · 08/05/2015 11:12

Not bad Woolly - just knackered but that's mostly sick toddler, family stress, building work and staying up too late watching the election results. Still pregnant, still testing to be sure

Fx still dizzym

thundernlightning · 08/05/2015 13:11

Pulpi Are you in Canada? I'm on Vancouver Island. Time zones make it hard to mumsnet effectively! Grin

Still no AF. What is going on here? Maybe it's stress. Of course I'm symptom spotting like it's going out of style too.

Good luck with the test results, zippy!

ZippyBoo · 08/05/2015 15:05

BFN from bloods too. Nothing to do but accept AF will come when she is good and ready.

parsnipbob · 08/05/2015 15:07

Sorry to hear that zippy. Flowers

birchygoo · 08/05/2015 16:26

sorry zippy for the rubbish news. hopefully af comes soon so you can get cracking on next cycle

loopylou1984 · 08/05/2015 17:25

Oh zippy, sorry to hear that. This may have already been said, but you should try temping. It's peace of mind that you know if you have ovulated or not and won't get your hopes up for no reason if you know ov hasn't even happened that cycle. Xx

CarrotVan · 08/05/2015 17:29

Sorry to hear that zippy

pulpi · 08/05/2015 17:51

Thunder, I'm originally from Vancouver Island! I've lived over here in Scotland for 4 years now. Very settled and not moving back to Canada, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I missed the Island (and Island life) from time to time!

Zippy, the exact same thing happened to me after our first month ttc. My regular 28 day cycle went to 34 or 36! I thought for sure I was pregnant. Gutted when I saw the BFN. AF is a devious wench. Hugs

How's everyone doing this evening? Recovered from the election madness?

I've bought myself some First Response tests and am going to poas first thing tomorrow morning. I'll be 11dpo, which might still be a bit early, but there's this great craft ale festival tomorrow afternoon and I'd love to have a pint without worry.

Anyone else poas tomorrow?

pulpi · 08/05/2015 18:01

And just like that, AF arrived.

Well, at least I can get my drink on tomorrow 100% worry-free.

Coming into our 6th month of trying now. Anyone else at 5+ months?

Brooke113 · 08/05/2015 18:10

Sorry Af has arrived pulpi here's to next month for you. I'm only three cycles in myself, but it still feels like forever.

Definitely agree with sammylou temping is the only sure way to know you've ov'd, I'm in limbo myself here, so I'm definitely giving temping a go next cycle x

thundernlightning · 08/05/2015 18:21

I'm in the same boat as pulpi and zippy, AF arrived today. Boo!

On the plus side, now I can open that lovely bottle of wine I found in the back of the cupboard...

Pulpi Scotland is so beautiful! I'm right in Victoria, which is pretty nice too. But I love the UK. Spent two summers there and would love to spend a few years there when DH is done his schooling.

ANYHOW! Good luck to the rest of you this month! Let's have a few BFPs! cheers and waves from the sidelines

sarah1391 · 08/05/2015 18:35
