thanks for the welcomes to the bus everyone. Think i've caught up on the thread now, so feeling a bit more prepared. Learned some stuff too from reading back so very interesting.

My stats:

Susurration, 26, TTC#1, cycle 1, PCOS and currently CD17. Hoping to OV this week sometime so BFP due 24th-ish May.

Dizzy re. Cramps and spotting 8dpo. Have you had this before? Sounds like imp. Spotting?! Obv don't want to get your hopes up but sounds intriguing! Keeping Fx for you! And night all sounding good to me! I'm waiting for my OV (I think) first time charting it all in FF AVS only have 3x temps to go by... 36.25, 36.30, 36.44... So all on the way up plus EWCM. Someone wrote on another post about mouth breathing and temp taking? Is it true that if you are a mouth breather when sleeping taking temp orally is less reliable? In which case is it more reliable vaginally?

No wish I've never had spotting before. I do get some pre af cramps but these were quite intense and now disappeared. I think I recall someone sarong that mouth breathing is less reliable when taking temps but hopefully someone will be along to confirm this.

I'm fine, DizzyM but quite nervy about it all (a bit of spotting) so still lurking here. Also this way I get to see who might be joining the January 16 bus in Antenatal. So hope lots of you make it over - this was/is a lovely bus

Trixie- thank you so much for this advice, I've not been told that (not been told much to be honest after being discharged from hospital), but it would appear to be logical. Just changed our plans for this evening, better go warn my hubby!!

Spotting is very common in early pregnancy carrot. Hope you can start to relax, though I know it's easier said than done. I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy. It would be amazing to have a bus load of bfp's and all meet up on antenatal threads. I agree it's a lovely place here.

Merry mouth breathing does indeed pose a problem for temping. Some women therefore do it vaginally!

trixie welcome back really hope you get that BFP soon, and yes, not long at all until June now!

wharm welcome! I'm so sorry to hear about the ectopic, what a difficult time that must have been. Great that your TTCing again and fx it's not a long wait.

mumto sounds like you've caught the fertile window so stay positive

carrot I've heard that spotting in early pregnancy is common too, try not to worry, I can totally understand why you would be though. Focus on each day at a time and fx the next few weeks go super quick and you can be reassured of a healthy pregnancy I would love to join you on the AN threads soon along with the rest of us here!

Haven't properly read back but I used to temp orally and temps were all over the place, now temp vaginally and is much more consistent even when taking at different times. No more of a faff than oral temping IME. I don't temp during AF tho :)

Hi I've been off the busses since nov but I've decided to come back as after 6 months of nothing I think I'm finally oving again!
Haven't been able to read much yet but I'm guessing you ladies still do stat?
If so its skylarrose ttc #1 cycle 30? Age 27 bfp due 18th may hopefully!

Is it too late to get on the bus? DH and I just started TTC after a long wait. He's 37, I'm 35, and this will be our first.

dizzymerry I'm ridiculously excited about your spotting and cramping but I dont want to get hopes up so will shut up now.

trixie lovely that you're back & thank you. IVF in June is very exciting but must be quite daunting too I'm guessing. I hope you're feeling better about everything, having younger sibs get knocked up before you would be very hard, sending positive thoughts that you will get your bfp very soon.

My temp rose this morning (forgot to take it yesterday), so looks like I'm starting the waiting game again for this month. Still, had fun trying and got a busy two weeks at work ahead so I'm sure it will go quickly.

Welcome thunder

I've got a problem - been using the CB digital opk. So far every day I have had blank smileys/low fertility, so haven't bother to dtd at all (last month I didn't ov til cd21). Suddenly this morning I've got a peak/fixed smiley! We're away with no chance to dtd til this evening Think I will have missed it this month?
