Sparkly try this

www.baby2see.com/development/ultrasound_sonogram/first_trimester_scans.html#week5

Helped me a lot as I had 5wk and 7 wk scans too. The 7 week is to ensure they can see a heartbeat as you need to be at least 6+3 to see it but it can be a few days later

You are pregnant as you have a yolk sac xx

loopylou1984 · 24/04/2015 16:47

Mummy - you're PUPO! And congratulations Lucie, you are too!!

Boris - you can't have ibuprofen when pg, but I think you'll be ok to take it in the first part of your cycle!

Sparkly - that sounds like great news :). I don't know anything about any of it, but keeping everything crossed for you! Xx

dojo123 · 24/04/2015 16:51

sparkly you lovely pregnant lady. I would say that your scan does sound positive and that you do have a little foetus growing nicely inside you. Are you still bleeding, or has that stopped now? I know the next two weeks are going to drag but look after yourself and that little on and try to relax a little. I understand your disappointment in not hearing a heartbeat but it really is too soon. Fingers firmly crossed for you.

DizzyNorthernBird · 24/04/2015 16:55

Just noticed the bfp tab in our stats! Loving tessies stats ha ha

Sparkly123 · 24/04/2015 16:55

Thanks girls. That Trunchpants has a lot to answer for ha ha she told me technology was so advanced now you can see heartbeats and fetal poles this early !!! No more talk of me.. Let's get back to Mummy exciting news!! I shall catch up in a bit on the pages I have missed Smile

chopsface · 24/04/2015 16:57

sparkly all sounds like good news my love. And especially if you are no longer bleeding. That's right, yeah? You're measuring one day behind me :-) seems like you've known far longer though. Probably coz I refused to poas until 17dpo...

Sparkly123 · 24/04/2015 17:06

Oh yeh you rebel Choppers ha ha. Can the dating be wrong though? Cause I think I'm a few days more if you go by lmp. I dunno! I find the whole dating things confusing!

Sparkly123 · 24/04/2015 17:06

Ps brown bleeding still not red

Mummyofonesofar · 24/04/2015 17:11

sammy I am PUPO! Love being able to say that. Just did an ic with 5pm urine (did we decide that was a thing?) after holding it for 1.5hrs and got a pink line vSorry, will stop going on now. In non ttc/BFP news I sold my car today Grin

loopylou1984 · 24/04/2015 17:47

Lol mummy, 5pm urine! Def a thing!
Ooh, well done on selling the car :). I was really sad when I got rid of mine last year, it was my first car though. Xx

loopylou1984 · 24/04/2015 17:52

Lucite just logged on the website to see your picture, that's amazing!! Your future baby/ies will love to see that when they're older! Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 24/04/2015 18:11

This was my first car too. It actually goes Sunday - annoyed I put £30 in it this morning though!

Nomio230 · 24/04/2015 18:26

Today is definitely your lucky day, Mummy!

I am starting to get worried now you are all pregnant. Soon there will just be me left on this big old bus by myself. Sad

Still, at least I get to eat all the nutella in the cellar!

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/04/2015 18:32

No nomio I'm going to be the last one left on the bus.

purdiepie · 24/04/2015 18:33

Sparkly, my love, that is the best news you could have hoped for at this point. 5 wks + 2 days is very, very early and a heartbeat can only be detected from 6+3. I will answer you honestly about a yolk sac: I had a fully formed sac and placenta at my eleven-week scan but no baby. The embryo hadn't grown beyond fertilisation, basically (blighted ovum) but, had I been less cavalier about these things, I'd've paid for a private scan at 6+3 and would have saved myself a lot of that heartache five weeks later. I strongly suggest you pay for a private scan next Saturday. Some areas of the UK you can get a scan for £60 but it is more reasonable to expect to pay between £90-100. Do it, Sparkly...you won't last two weeks waiting for confirmation of a live baby.

I do think you are going to be a mummy this time, I just think that baby is in there and is taking its own sweet time to appear like any other foetus. No-one - not even the most renowned fertility consultant in the world - could tell you at 5+2 that everything is going to be okay. Next Saturday, though, could really give you much more security Thanks

loopylou1984 · 24/04/2015 18:37

Nomio - don't worry, I don't think I'm going anywhere any time soon :(. Xx

eskimolaura · 24/04/2015 18:38

Yes Sparkly Woohoo! Glad the appointment went so well.

Congratulations Mummy Grin Your EDD is the same as my DH's birthday. Star Can I ask just how much preseed you used? Did you fill the applicator? Confused

Good news for you too Lucie Congrats on the successful transfer of the blastos so far. FX for the next two weeks for you. :)

So, DH had his SA results back. They are all within normal ranges, TG. The only one that we think is on the worrying side is morphology.

Here's a breakdown, with the normal ranges in brackets:

Morphology: 9.0% (4-100)
Motility: 52% (32-100)
Motility: 57% (40-100) (Not sure why there are two results for motility?
Density: 55.0 10*6/ml (15-200)
Volume: 6.0ml (1.5-15.0)

I asked DH is there was anything he could do to increase the morphology and he said he'd been doing his research, and Omega Oils 3, 6 and 9 can improve it, so he's going to get some of that. Apart from that, these look ok don't they? Thoughts please ladies Grin

eskimolaura · 24/04/2015 18:41

PS Nomio Are you kidding?! I haven't had a period yet. A real period. I ain't even off the starting blocks yet! Hmm

spinningirl10 · 24/04/2015 18:44

Nomio, Your bfp is coming, it's closer today than it was yesterday, right?Smile

Mummy, yay for the pink line at 5pm and hooray for selling the car.

Anyone got anything fun planned this evening? I am home alone, ds is at his Dads and dp is working. So a night of tv and MN for me. I'm going out tomorrow night with the girls, can't waitGrin

cremedecacao · 24/04/2015 18:50

Hi everyone! Sorry for going quiet on you all, I've been so busy and so tired!

Sparkly- hope the next two weeks goes quickly for you. I know exactly how you are feeling!

I am not going to poas tomorrow- it's too early. Will wait til Monday.

Other than feeling ridiculously tired and a bit grumpy I have no symptoms, so not holding my breath!

Mummyofonesofar · 24/04/2015 18:53

eskimo thanks! I used up to the first line only. Your bfp will come - all of us will get our babies!

I feel it is a lucky day. Except dp just had yet another row with him mum. I am really starting to not like her at all

spinningirl10 · 24/04/2015 19:24

Eskimo, I don't know about your results. I think the morphology is a little low but as you said the rest look ok. Hope someone more knowledgeable can help you out. I think Lucie may knowSmile

spinningirl10 · 24/04/2015 19:39

Ooh it's very quiet tonight, you must all he out having fun!Smile

purdiepie · 24/04/2015 19:39

That morphology is great! Anything about 4% is good Smile Eskimo, how many millions of sperm per ml did he have?

Mummyofonesofar · 24/04/2015 19:41

Very quiet! I'm just playing downfall with ds while dp sorts out his family dramas!
