Sammy a MMC is a missed miscarriage. Basically there are no signs (pain, bleeding etc), it is only discovered at a scan that the foetus is dead.

ibeka · 21/04/2015 23:37

frog good luck for dildocam. Don't worry, it's not painful, just leaves you with soggy pants!

Sparkly123 · 21/04/2015 23:46

Froggy don't worry for tomorrow you will be totally fine and it's a step forward for you- information is key! Good luck again lovely Flowers

Yokyil · 21/04/2015 23:54

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 00:25

Hope you're all having sweet dreams! Sorry for my sleep-deprived random comment at stupid o'clock (for me) this morning. I was wide-awake at 4.40am for no good reason except my brain being full of starting a new company, bidding for some amazing work, dealing with a newly-clingy toddler who cries and cries and cries, sorting out all my packing for my trip to the UK at the end of the week, dealing with the reality of leaving my darling newly clingy little girl with her grandparents for a fortnight, oh, and ttc of course

thepug I don't know you from a bar of soap but I really feel for you, and ibeka and yokyil and purdie and everyone else who has been through a MC. I haven't experienced it personally but loads of my friends have, and - the good news - they are all parents now. It happens. There's heartbreak along the way, but it happens. Look after yourself.

frog dildocam will be fine! Doesn't hurt a bit. And I didn't get soggy pants (although I was on CD1 with full flow so my pants were soggy regardless, I guess (end TMI).

purdie chin up at work. We all have sucky work days but all things must pass. Your colleague sounds proper amazing.

ibeka I am firmly in the pro-ginger camp.

Meat-related: who here has eaten kangaroo? Get some Skippy on your fork! Delish. (I love that we eat an animal on our coat of arms - it'd be like you lot eating a lion or a .... unicorn.)

loopylou1984 · 22/04/2015 06:52

Thank you Ibeka. X

purdiepie · 22/04/2015 07:02

Aw thanks, mamapo. I'm so in thrall of your job. I wish I could know more about it. I just think you must be terrifically clever. Sorry for chimp-like tot. Babies are brilliant and weird. Your crotchety post made me laugh.

yokyil, I had a missed call from CB yesterday. They want another Welsh combo. Or perhaps they want to send me an unclearbluesy cwtch Hmm

purdiepie · 22/04/2015 07:03

*Welsh convo!

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/04/2015 07:13

mamapo sounds like you have a lot going on. Hope today gets better for you.
I've eaten kangaroo, makes a lovely burger...

purdie hope today at work is better. X

Queenbee30 · 22/04/2015 07:16

Morning/evening mama! Unicorn is well tasty. Recommend with a squeeze of lime.

Someone slap me please. I want to POAS but it's too early (I fink anyway...who knows with my stoopid post-pill-not-yet-regular-cycle)
boris sorry you were ill on your birthday Cake I missed that post.
Happy Wednesday all!

purdiepie · 22/04/2015 07:20

Kangaroo burgers can take a running jump.

Queenbee30 · 22/04/2015 07:20

wonders whether there is a world record for longest stretching EWCM....goes back to slurping a cup of tea

Pikz · 22/04/2015 07:21

Awwww mama giving you and chimp mama big cuddles

Purdie good luck today

Queen bee what cycle day do you think you are?

Temp drop today by a small amount. Though as I spent the night doing bed swaps no idea if it's a true temp

Queenbee30 · 22/04/2015 07:24

cd32 pikz but only had one period off pill that came about 50 odd days after coming off. Had no high or peak in cbfm this cycle but had amazing EWCM about 9 days ago. Not temping at mo so a bit of a guess really!

purdiepie · 22/04/2015 07:25

Boz, what a biz birthday and boo! to being ill. That shouldn't be legal x

Frog, thinking of you today Thanks

I can't quite believe how poor my post-ov temps are. All that flipping effort and I may not have ovulated. What do the charters think? Can a hembrio survive living at the foot of Mount Everest after tumbling 35,000 feet?

The Angry Pubes are bumming along on Bumsnet
MaMaPo · 22/04/2015 07:28

I have stopped temping! I mean, for this point of the cycle. I decided that it was making me anxious to keep temping after the post-ov temp rise, so I just stopped. If AF is coming then it's coming, and all temping would do would be to disappoint me about 5 minutes earlier, as AF always arrives first thing in the morning. I feel so much better for stopping, I realised I was getting quite anxious with it, which made me sleep badly, which made me second-guess my temps, which made me anxious... a vicious cycle. I figure that the utility of temping is largely for timing sex around ovulation and after that you're going to find out if you're pregnant one way or another.

Speaking of which - eek, sparkly, it's not long until Friday. I have a v. confident feeling for you.

Queen bee if in doubt, step away from the peesticks.

purdie thanks mate - I am quite amazingly clever. flutters eyelashes How's your mama? And kangaroo steaks are better than burgers - and kangaroo is a much better animal to eat than cows, from an environmental standpoint. Much less farting.

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/04/2015 07:36

queen I'm sure I read somewhere it can stretch to 10 inches Shock

purdie why do you think you've not ovulated? Three over six.......? Looks ok to me but then I'm only cycle three of charting, one of which with a broken thermometer.

Not had kangaroo but when I used to go to South Africa I was rather partial to an Ostrich steak. Delish! And far better than the crappy UK reared ostriches which aren't worth dirtying your plate for.

loopylou1984 · 22/04/2015 07:36

Purdie - that's an odd looking chart I'll agree, but your temps are still above the coverline so I think you did ov. Does the amount of the rise depend on the level of progesterone? Could you fit in a test what with working and all? Xx

Oysterbabe · 22/04/2015 07:40

At least you're still above that line Purdie unlike me.

No temping or opks for me next month as I'm not taking it on honeymoon. Might be nice to have a break.

No poas Queen!! bfn is so depressing.

frogbubbles · 22/04/2015 07:44

Morning lovely ones,

Feeling much better today, no where near as grumpy as I was yesterday. Sorry for being such a grumpy pants.

So off for the ultra sound today, nervous but excited (have my fx they say oh everything is fine and dandy down there) well I hope so anyway!! We shall see Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/04/2015 07:45

purdie are your temps still elevated by .2 degrees or more? I didn't think the actual temperature mattered as long as there was a shift.

frogbubbles · 22/04/2015 07:47

I totally forgot to add: thank you for all the well wishes for today lovelies x

Pixa · 22/04/2015 07:50

Oyster to not taking your stuff on honeymoon. Smile You will have a fabulous time.

Pixa · 22/04/2015 07:50

That should have said "Yes to not taking..."
