Thank you so much, all of you. My mum is being mental because this illness has made her stir crazy and depressed. My mum has rather begun to worship me since I had a baby. For all of my life I have just been this hedonistic, selfish, promiscuous drug-taking, alcoholic loud-mouth. I was bitter about my life and who I had become, but the pride she now feels in me since I recovered through rehab and then brought Nancy into her life is quite something. It's true I have changed, and not just a little. I guess having a baby really brought us together as mum's and we have this newfound respect and love for each other. I just want to wrap her up, put her in my pocket and move her in with us

Anyway....that is why she is behaving as though I have taken a job in Tasmania.
