Do you like feeling left out of a group? Do you enjoy being marginalised and isolated and picked-on? How about a good bullying? If so..you're in t'wrong place, cock, coz this 'ere is the TTC thread where you feel loved, embraced, encouraged, wanted, lusted after, admired, respected, thought-of with fondness, missed when you're away. We will even put up with your lazy, selfish bastard of a husband who would rather watch Chelsea romp through the Premiership than put a baby in your tum-tum.

Absolutely any old slag welcome, unless you already have a baby in your tum-tum and we're about as familiar with you as a condom. You can get lost Smile

t'STATS, innit

Glittery Sorry talking about my DS when others so desperately don't have DC#1 yet but everyone will get there and they are hillarious - last week when being bossed around by a neighbours younger child "It is my life, I dont have to do what you say" made me chuckle!

DizzyMerry · 17/04/2015 14:43

Glitter I also find dildocams less painful than a smear. They're just uncomfortable really but over and done with quickly.

I always find it amusing when women have no idea they are pregnant. A colleague had no idea until she was 6 months. She was always exhausted and was in and out of her Dr's surgery, until one day a blood test was done to confirm her pregnancy. She was absolutely stunned as regular periods and no other symptoms. She gave birth to a healthy baby but she wasn't even planning a 4th child!!!

Nomio230 · 17/04/2015 14:48

Aww, bless him! I love the way children's mind's work. A bit upsetting for you though. Sad

I am bored too. I have an assignment to do & I really can't be bothered with it.

We are off to look at a car later, so hopefully I can finally pass my test! I started learning a few years ago, but gave up when we moved to London. Now we are back in a civilised part of the world, where people realise you are actually supposed to indicate, and to stop at red lights, I am going to start learning again.

I am really excited. I just want to go see it now!

Nomio230 · 17/04/2015 14:50

Don't feel bad, Mummy. Your little one is gorgeous.

I love it when my four year old nephew tells me he can do what he wants because he is a grown up now!

loopylou1984 · 17/04/2015 15:43

Glittery I agree with the others, if u can handle a smear test then you'll be fine with the dildocam. I was really worried about mine on Wednesday, but it wasn't a problem at all. Xx

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 17/04/2015 16:19

mummy no way! I love hearing those kind of stories :)

oh good - thanks girls. x

Nomio - haha it took me 7 tries to pass mine :/

is it 5:30 yet? :(

I know you discussed this a couple of pages back, but I've just got home and catching up and wanted to say aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh about baby showers and particularly gift lists for baby showers!
I've been to two baby showers. Both for friends who I knew had had difficulties conceiving so third excitement upon becoming pregnant was understandable. The gift list thing was ridiculous for one of them though. I bought other stuff. Spent £50 and never had a proper thank you.
Spent another £50 on Christening presents. No thank you or even acknowledgment that they'd got the pressies!
Spent another £50 on 1st birthday and Christmas presents. No thank you or anything. Could say more about this particular family but worried I could be identified if she's on here!
Anyway, I hate the expectation that presents should be bought but being ungrateful is even worse. I LOVE buying baby gifts. Any excuse to go round the John Lewis baby department but it's rather hurtful when there's no thank you.
Rant over!

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 17/04/2015 16:37

Daisy that takes the piss in my book. I went to a baby shower a couple of months back and it was nice but the mum2be sat whilst we all sat around and watched her open each present and card with money/vouchers. - Have we been invited to see the baby? Have we received a thank you - have we heck!! So no more baby showers. I don't want one either and have said to MIL & SIL if even try to do one I wont turn up! Told DH too. lol they think I am a miserable bitch but I would rather a visit from friends after baby is born and see them and have a cup of tea and they can see/cuddle the baby. It's all a fucking fad - that and the new "prom's" urgh. get to fuck.

MelonMelon · 17/04/2015 16:48

I've been to 2 showers and they were ok, mainly because my friends werenter twats about it. But I'd never had one, especially now I've a loss as it feels weird celebrating a baby that isn't here safely yet?

I've just got home and DH has cleaned the whole house and done the food shopping. Couldn't be more hot for him right now! (Damn you CD2!)

MelonMelon · 17/04/2015 16:49

*weren't

Sparkly123 · 17/04/2015 17:00

Glittery and Daisy Sames! It was a long 40 minutes watching the mum to be open about thirty gifts.. So strange. I don't recall a thank you either. Just not on! Baby bingo is horrendous but the game with the potty where the preggo has to drink out of it is sick. Urgh. Spoiled sport over here maybe but nae thanks!!!

Melon agree. Celebrate the safe arrival of the baby! Ha ha that's so nice if your dh! Good start to the weekend! Not long until you can thank him a few times in a row! Wink

Mummy love that. How sweet is your ds. Kids just say the most wonderful naive things! Always make me smile!

Nomio ooooh car shopping!! Exciting!
