Sparkly I can completely understand how you feel, I haven't joined an AN thread. The last bit of me post to you came out wrong, I was meaning that I was thinking of you and hoping that your worries ease. Take care.

Mummyofonesofar · 11/04/2015 20:50

went for a wander with my friend today and ended up dragging DS 4.5 miles to an ice cream farm and the same back. He seems ok, my legs are killing me!! Ov tomorrow hopefully. No idea how I will Dtd with these legs, knees & hips! DS late to bed too as had a friend round who is in a really bad place and needed somewhere safe to be. My heart aches to see someone hurting so much with depression.

Yokyil · 11/04/2015 20:54

sparkly yep fingers crossed..will DTD anyhoo Wink give us a good chance hopefully. Hope you're feeling good sparkly, hope the cramps ease off, will def give you a better feeling. Did you see the 'royal wedding' Wink purdy dress - anything like yours oyster Shock

fififolle · 11/04/2015 20:56

Sparkly I think that cramps are quite common and are caused by your womb stretching and changing. Sometimes loose waistbands help.

Butterchunks · 11/04/2015 21:08

sparkly: I think/hope everyone here is delighted for you and are wanting nothing but the best. you are always so thoughtful and compassionate, and have shared your life and listened to ours. I think what hasn't been mentioned much is that all the stuff that has gone on isn't necessarily about people getting their bfps, it's how they have gone about it. I don't think any of this applies to you.

I don't really like this no-lpb idea, or excluding people who get what all of us are wanting ourselves (bpfs all round!). I would rather just ignore people who don't have the common sense to apply some social ettiquette when joining threads, or those who don't think about what they are saying (eg "the just relax and it will happen" comment, which was what I think set things off yesterday, not just a bpf pic. The poster obviously did not think about the women who she was talking to, no matter how well intentioned her comment).

You as much as anyone knows how difficult things can be, you are aware of how tact and thoughtfulness is required when interacting with people,. This self awareness has been somewhat lacking recently (and has obviously caused problems). You are honest and caring, even on your bad days you ask after others and share your thoughts and feelings with us. You seem sensible enough to know what is appropriate to post, and ultimately I hope that everything settles down and you have a healthy and happy 9 months ahead of you

nightandthelight · 11/04/2015 21:11

Sparkly if you leave I will throw the mother of all tantrums! Grin

chopsface · 11/04/2015 21:13

Deffo don't leave sparkly!

melon hope you get an answer about missed af soon. Was it you going to try running? Best of luck. I've tried couch to 5k at least twice but never complete it! I just can't commit to 3 evenings a week in the British weather!

Charms85 · 11/04/2015 21:19

Love seeing all these BFPs!! I unfortunately had my period Hmm however it only lasted 2.5days and I now have period pains again so feeling a bit confused!

Hopefully we will be 100% trying this month when hubby gets a new job!! Excited!!

Xx

Giddymamma · 11/04/2015 21:19

Good thanks miss sparkles! :) take care of yourself, keep us updated with those pesky cramps. So pleased for your bfp. Xx

Yokyil · 11/04/2015 21:21

chops are you testing in the a.m??

ibeka · 11/04/2015 21:25

sparkly I shall cry if you leave. And as DP just pointed out, today is the first day in a long time I haven't done that. So please don't go :-)

spinning glad to have you back and that the day went ok. Flowers

melon good on you for running. I admire you greatly. I love cycling and walking but cannot abide running and deeply admire anyone who gives it a go.

night I can't believe you're making me wait three more days for your BFP. Sigh.

Glad to see lots of us have been out in the garden today. I find it very therapeutic (potting shed aside) and love imagining how it will all look when grown. DP is in charge of the veg plot but looks like we'll have enough to survive apocalypse given the amount he's planted...

Woolly84 · 11/04/2015 21:25

sparkly stay definitely we still need your sparkliness!Grin

mummy sounds like a tiring day! I hope your friend feels better soon, I know what it's like to support someone with depression and how painful it is to see someone you care about going through it Flowers

charms good luck for trying properly!! Smile

Charms85 · 11/04/2015 21:29

Thank you Smile xx

spinningirl10 · 11/04/2015 21:31

Thank you ladies for the kind thoughts, you're all fabSmile

Sparkly, if you leave this bus I'm off!!! I love your chartSmile I'm hoping the spotting is gonna turn out just fine, so many ladies have spotting and all is well. I know you've been through this all before but try and keep your cheerful positivity and you know that we are all rooting for you.
I'm ok thanks, I keep thinking about my cousins, they're 18, 21 and 23, it's very young to lose a parent. The eldest was very close to his Dad, when his parents split up he went with his Dad and they lived together just the two of them for 4 years and then another 2 with the bitch psycho gf (who had to be told to stay away yesterday.) The boys have each other though and the eldest has a lovely gf who he's been with for a few years. I hope they can find a way through their sadness and grief and continue to make their Dad proud.

Where is Purdey?

Chops, why have you changed name? Please remind me who you were before! I hate people changing name, it's confuses meSmile

Mummy, how sad for your ds's friend, how old is he?

Oyster, hope you have a lovely evening with dp. How long till the wedding now?

purdiepie · 11/04/2015 21:32

Butter, what an excellent post, thank you for saying what I have wanted to all along. You are much more gracious than me. Sparkly, I have pm'd you, but your humility and selflessness and tact and support have been incalculable on these buses and I know your friends on the April bus would say the same. Please stay, you would be nothing but sensitive to the rest of us, just like Giddy, Dojo, Pug et al, who we miss dearly.

I'm really excited for you two, night and chops!

Charms, welcome. We'd love to know more about you - what's your story? Smile

juneybean · 11/04/2015 21:34

Hi ladies (waves)

Can I join this thread or is it an established group of people familiar with one another? I've been ttc since Christmas but just joined MN recently and trying to make sense of it all and gather as much knowledge from as many threads as possible.

ps congrats to those celebrating BFPs today!
