Halfway through my TWW and looking for company. Anyone in the same boat?

I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

Hi grey, I have irregular cycles as well - mine have been between 26 & 48 days long in the last 6 months, but I average around 32. finding I go by ewcm and I find that you can have it for a week or more, some days more than others. As soon as you've ovulated you go dry, so if you're getting patches here and there then there's still a chance. I'm getting loads of ewcm at the mo, more than usual, but trying not to get my hopes up this month. Not sure I can do that again!

My stats: ttc #2 (but DS stillborn at 19weeks) cycle #6, bfp due 16 may

My stomach is still unsettled and I don't feel "right". I'm so tempted to do a test but the longer I leave it, the longer I can live in hope. If it's negative then the anticipation has gone.

I can't even remember what I used to think about before we started ttc.

Finding - do a test!!! I'm excited for you!! I know what you mean though - about the anticipation but I would still be very tempted.
Hi haquoi - I'm keeping everything crossed for you - you so deserve your bfp this month. Ewcm is a very good sign, mine has just started but opk still negative Hmm.

Hi ladies,

May I join you? I'm a bit of a lurker, post occasionally, ttc #1, am on cycle 5.
It's CD 32 and I'm itching to take a test but I'm too scared!

Trying to convince myself I can't be (don't want to get my hopes up) as other than a major acne break out and me not being able to sleep I haven't noticed any symptoms (other than a late AF?)

Hi Haquoi I was due on the 25 but so far nothing. I track my cycles and none of them over the past four months have been late but I'm going to try and hold until Wednesday to test!

Morning ladies, well I tested this am and it was a bfn. Think I knew it was going to be though so not too disappointed as had convinced myself it was AF over the weekend!!

Off to see GP on Thursday afternoon to discuss blood results and plans going forward. Can't say I'm not disappointed not to be asking for a midwife referral but lets see what he recommends!!

remember - that's disappointing, I was really hoping for you. Let us know how you get on at GP, I'm thinking I may have to go to GP too but to be honest I'm scared to find out if there's something wrong.
Also totally confused with another negative opk today - it's looking like my body can't even be bothered to ovulate now Sad

I gave in and tested this morning - BFN.

I guess there's always next month when I start taking the clomid.

Diamonds - AF due on about 2nd.

I'm ok about the bfn though - feeling optimistic for next month and the clomid.

I will, I'm still holding off on waiting till tomorrow, although I do walk past a boots on the way home! Never had no symptoms before!

I got really down yesterday and didn't want to dtd. I think this is the crux point though, so I may have missed it. I just feel like giving up (in the middle of the stupid cycle!)

Hi haquoi - I'm not surprised you were feeling down with all you've gone through. I think you show great strength and feeling down one day is natural. Today is another day, you may not have missed it, maybe dtd today if you feel a bit better? Xx
We're cycle buddies - I thought af/bfp was due 11th but according to my ovulation tests I still haven't ovulated yet so my date will be 16th probably - think that is the same as yours?
Yes how did you get on brown?

Sorry ladies I haven't tested yet! Started work very early this morning so no chemist open, going to buy a test on the way home.

Think AF might be on her way as have slight twinges/cramps that feel like an impending period! Never been 4 days late so will have to buy a test.

How are you feeling Haquoi? Will let you know test result later on if AF hasn't reared her ugly head by then!

Haquoi - sorry to hear that you're not feeling great. It's totally understandable though.

Update for me is that AF arrived yesterday - 5 days early for the first time in my life. I'm also laid up in bed as I've had stomach cramps, fever and sore boobs for a few days now. The fever and joint pain is pretty bad today and both sides of my mouth have cracked. In short, I'm looking pretty damn attractive...

Thanks diamond & brown. Today's another off day but I've got a break in the middle (self employed musician) so am taking some time out. Got to snap back for lessons later on today though. Blurgh.

Well I tested and my result was bfn. Guess AF is AWOL! My cycles can be irregular but it's usually early never late!

It must be I figure, I mean my cycle can range from 27-30days. According to my fertility app it was due on the 25th? But I've always known I would have trouble conceiving due to an eating disorder so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised sadly.

Speaking from experience, I know it's hard to keep positive, but trying for up to a year is normal. Trust me, it feels like it will never happen, but know that it is normal. Now I just need to practice what I preach...
