I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

Joining a bit tentatively. We've not dtd much but it was good timing according to my dates. Won't be testing for two weeks though

diamondsparkles · 02/06/2015 23:37

finding - good to hear from you, I was wondering how you were getting on. So sorry to hear of af arriving though. I am so hoping for you on your second month of clomid - maybe you just needed the first month on it to get it all into your system properly. We're here for you and will listen to how you're feeling, I wish I could find more comforting words. Ttc is a horrible, lonely process. Try not to feel too down, much easier said than done I know

diamondsparkles · 02/06/2015 23:39

Welcome bellossum - good to have you here. It's very supportive here. How long have you been ttc? What date will you be testing?

diamondsparkles · 02/06/2015 23:40

Sorry bellossom!

Lovelyjubbly95 · 02/06/2015 23:55

Oh findingmyfeet i don't even know what to say :( it will happen tho x

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 05:26

Oh finding, I'm so sorry! This ttc business is so hard and you've had one of the hardest journeys. Hope is also a difficult and painful thing, especially if it keeps being dashed. Only you know whether IVF is for you and absolutely if you decide not to go for it that's a valid decision. There's still time (and hope) before you have to make that decision. Look after yourself finding, you absolutely deserve your bfp and the best support in the meantime - people talk to me about strength but you've kept going longer than most of us and from my lowly 7 months of ttc I know it's only a strong person who can be where you are xxx

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 06:24

Welcome bell, how long have you been ttc?

I'm up again at stupid o'clock this morning (as you can tell from my previous post). Last few mornings I've been up naturally at various times earlier than 6.30am, earlier than DH (he's the weird morning person). This is not me, usually it takes an hour of alarm clock snooze-hitting before I can even open my eyes! Only other times I've had this have been when I was pg with DS. Or it could be the worrying about taking my temp (bit more normal today) or this blasted cold. So many ifs!! DH & I decided that testing Friday would be bad - he's going away for the weekend - so I'm testing this morning. Or rather I'm going to leave a pot of wee out and DH will test it for me. I can't bring myself to do it!
Cd48/49, 18/19 days late

So... 3 weeks late.

Halfway through my TWW and looking for company. Anyone in the same boat?
Greyhorses · 03/06/2015 07:45

I think my body is playing tricks on me. For the first time I just want AF to hurry up. Still nothing except brown spotting, no symptoms. I just want AF to start so I can move on to the next cycle Sad. Currently cd37 and BFN again. I am not testing any more as its so disappointing!

This is only cycle two of trying but we have been just waiting and seeing what happens for 12 months already so I am starting to think there is something wrong with me. It seems everyone around gets pregnant easily! My best friend just got pregnant one month after stopping the pill.
Wish I had normal cycles Hmm

Finding- hope you feel better today. I have no real advice for you as I don't know anything about clomid but I am crossing my fingers for you!

Greyhorses · 03/06/2015 07:47

Haquoi- congratulations! You must be so pleased Grin

diamondsparkles · 03/06/2015 07:58

haquoi!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I knew you were pregnant!!! That's actually brought tears to my eyes, I'm so happy for you. How are you feeling? You deserve this so much xxx

Red193 · 03/06/2015 08:06

Congratulations Haquoi! So happy for you! X

Wonkyparsnip · 03/06/2015 08:09

Congratulations!! (Long term lurker)

birchygoo · 03/06/2015 08:11

haquoi have I missed your bfp status...?

diamondsparkles · 03/06/2015 08:51

greyhorses - sorry for the bfn. It's so crushing isn't it? Everyone around me gets pregnant easily, it's hard to deal with isn't it. I'm still hoping the brown spotting will go though and leave you with a bfp. I don't have normal cycles either, every month I get a cruel trick on me - early, late, spotting, no spotting etc etc, the list goes on.
finding - hope you are feeling okay today
wonky - join in! Would be lovely to hear from you - we're starting a new thread soon and it would be lovely if you could join us Smile

fuzzywuzzy · 03/06/2015 09:15

haquoi congratulations Smile, that's so wonderful.

I'm just feeling slightly out of it this morning, like I'm not quite in synch with my body.

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 09:18

Thank you grey, red & wonky (hello!)

diamond, you're awesome, thankyou so much. I reallyreally hope things work out for you soon. You absolutely deserve it. My edd is pretty much the same as DS', 22-24th Jan, which will be hard, so here's hoping this little one survives. 3rd time lucky!

birchy I had a bfp this morning - DH tests because I couldn't go near it, the pic is earlier up on the page.

grey I really hope that you get some answers soon, I know all too well how each month can screw us over. But it's also taken me 3 weeks with about 8 bfns so don't give up hope

I also swear, that she - oak is amazing!

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 09:19

Thanks fuzzy :)

diamondsparkles · 03/06/2015 09:34

Thanks haquoi - you're so lovely, am teary again now! I think your edd will be hard but in a way it might help you, I'm sure you can think of little Marvy too as this pregnancy progresses and it will be like he's kind of with you too if that makes sense. Definitely 3rd time lucky for you, I know it. How's dh? Is he excited too? Bet he doesn't want to go away and leave you this weekend now!

diamondsparkles · 03/06/2015 09:52

And haquoi - would you like to start our next thread? I think to bring us all good luck a bfp lady should do it- that's how the last one was started and look how many bfps we got! I'm afraid if I did it it would be the unluckiest thread ever with my lack of good news ever!

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 09:52

Thanks diamond, you're so lovely! That absolutely makes sense. My family tends to have birthdays all around the same time, so this would be a wonderful keeping of tradition (as well as being near my sister's). DH is really excited and I think he's pleased he did the test as well. I told him he should wait 5 mins and he said, it doesn't need it, I think you're pregnant. I didn't belive him until he showed it to me! My morning sickness hit last time at about 7 weeks so I've got another week to go before hell breaks loose. Until then, get rid of this cold and try not to panic! I'll keep lurking here though, I want to see your bfp!

I can't say it enough, she-oak. I've got another two bottles on the way as well! Diana it would fit in with the natural fertility as well.

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 10:02

It feels like a real honour, thanks diamond xxxx (and yours will happen soon enough)

Congratulations haquoi!!!!! How wonderful after your long wait! I'm so thrilled for you. Similar due dates will be a way to never forget your ds. Praying for a healthy pregnancy for you. xxx
