I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

Hello I'm in my tww - it's actually my last cycle before I start taking clomid.

Ive had cramping which I think may have been implantation cramping but at the same time I had a spicy meal that day which could have caused it. It's driving me mad as I couldn't pinpoint what the pain was. It was pretty bad though and kept me awake.

I'm starting to feel some breast tenderness not and I usually don't get that until a day or so before af is due and it's not due for a while yet. At the same time I think that they may be sore because I've been prodding them to check so often.

The situation is driving me to distraction.

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 01:23

Hi finding - how many dpo are you? It's horrible isn't it? You drive yourself mad sometimes. Fingers crossed for you x

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 09:27

Well done sleeping!! That's a great weight loss! Hope you stayed awake to dtd!
My first clearblue ovulation test today, I'm cd11, was very pleased to see it was negative as I'm still away from dh til tomorrow!
How is everyone this morning? Smile

Rememberallball · 26/04/2015 09:52

Well done Sleeping. It all helps.

Fx the opks give you time to get home, Diamond!!

Definitely counting the days to next week when I can start opk-ing once more!!

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 10:05

Hi remember - I know! I've never been so pleased to see a negative as I was this morning! Dh is in for a tiring week when I get home! It won't be long before you're opk-ing- what day are you starting them?!

Rememberallball · 26/04/2015 10:31

I reckon I'll start on friday which will be cd8 - early I know but I bought a pack of 50 off Amazon for about £6!!

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 10:45

That's good I reckon (and a bargain too!) - so you won't miss it. Last month I got the positive on cd12 and the month before was cd15 so it was loads earlier than I expected! How long are your cycles?

findingmyfeet12 · 26/04/2015 11:57

Hi Diamond,

I'm 9 DPO. One of the corners of my mouth also cracked a couple of days ago. This hasn't happened to me since I was a young child and Ive had a couple of breakouts.

I've never had any premenstrual symptoms. I never have any cramping etc so I don't really know what kind of pain to look out for.

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 15:42

Hi finding
9dpo is good, not long to wait then - when are you going to test? That's strange about the cracking.
Did you say this is your last cycle before clomid? How long have you been ttc?

Rememberallball · 26/04/2015 15:47

Diamond, before the depo (had when dp and I got together last year as didn't want any early surprises!!) my cycles were 28-30 days but was without AF after stopping injection last September until after GP did the investigatory bloods last month. This cycle was 26 days so about the same length!

findingmyfeet12 · 26/04/2015 17:15

We've been trying for about 7 years but only really starting trying seriously about 18 months ago. Tbh I'd never even taken note of ovulation symptoms until we started trying seriously - now every twinge is analysed to death. I'm trying not to but I can't help it.

I'm 35 so I thought the doc would tell me to go straight to IVF but he gave us three months of clomid first.

Someone on YouTube mentioned that her mouth cracked while she was in her tww during IVF - I actually burst into tears when I heard that Blush

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 17:21

remember - 26 days is good, so starting your OPKs on cd8 probably won't be too early then. It's exciting when you start your fertile week Smile
I keep forgetting where everyone is in their cycle now so if you get chance can you update the thread with your own stats then we can look forward to everyone's bfp due dates??
Mine are: ttc number 2, cycle 10, bfp due 11 May Smile

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 17:27

finding - I know what you mean - it's so difficult not to analyse every twinge.
If this isn't your month and you start the clomid I've heard really good things about it so it's exciting for you!
I don't blame you for the bursting into tears at hearing that - sounds like something I would do too Blush!
When are you due to test? Am really hoping for you that this is the month!!

findingmyfeet12 · 26/04/2015 17:33

I'm going to try not to test for a while yet. Once I get back to work tomorrow it'll take my mind off it a little.

I'm trying to keep up with people's stats but I'm not familiar with all the acronyms yet. Keep having to look things up.

hewy · 26/04/2015 18:28

I think I'm out this month already. DH away fri night til tonight so we dtd on Thursday night but obvs not since as he's been away. Had watery cm on Friday, ewcm yesterday and today it's gone creamy which isn't fertile (sorry. Tmi. What has happened to me? I have NEVER talked to anyone about my bodily fluids!!) so I think I probs ovulated really early on Saturday (app tells me it should be Monday or Tuesday) and have missed it. ??. But gutted as it's such a long wait to find out. So much for preseed and dtd every night. Blindsided by early ov, if that's what's happened. Grrrr.
Finding, hope you stay sane during this tww. I'm off to google cloud as I'm not even really sure what it does.

findingmyfeet12 · 26/04/2015 18:33

Hope you haven't missed it hewy. Fingers crossed for you.

I've had ewcm on about three occasions during this cycle its confused me a little. The first time was a lot and I thought ok this is it. Then it happened again a couple of times.

diamondsparkles · 26/04/2015 18:42

Hi finding - good plan! Just ask if there's an acronym you're not sure of - I'll do my best to help!
hewy you might be fine!! All I've read says it's better to have the sperm up there before ovulation- so that's good Grin
I know exactly what you mean - I've never discussed bodily fluids either before this!!!

diamondsparkles · 27/04/2015 07:32

Morning everyone Smile
Well had a negative opk today again which has confused me - stupid body can't seem to get anything right. I've gone from worrying I won't get home in time to dh for ovulation to now panic that I'm not even going to ovulate at all this month Sad
How is everyone else?

Rememberallball · 27/04/2015 07:56

Morning Diamond, things very strange here this morning. AF over and done with by lunchtime yesterday (so just about 48 hours) and without any clots or huge amount of blood loss (sorry if tmi) did have some cramping yesterday morning while watching the marathon but nothing to write home about.

So, today I'm counting as cd4 and planning to start opks on friday.

My stats: age 43, ttc 1, cycle 2, expecting bfp around 20 May

Greyhorses · 27/04/2015 08:11

Hi everyone!

Thought I would join this thread even though I'm pretty sure I'm out this month- fingers crossed for everyone!

I have very irregular cycles and am due any time in the next 7 days although sometimes it's less than this. I thought I had symptoms (sore boobs being the main one!) although I was proberbly imagining this as I have tested negative twice now and have had some period type cramps over the past few days.

How many days are average between periods does anyone know? I'm currently around 27 days after the end of my last period so don't know if I'm late or not Smile

I suppose there's always next month!!

diamondsparkles · 27/04/2015 08:22

Morning remember, that's very strange! Have you considered that your short AF was an implantation bleed? Is it worth doing a test to rule it out?
Hi greyhorses! Welcome to this lovely thread! Cycle lengths vary, mine go from 25 to 31 so I'm not sure either! Fingers crossed for you though that you have just tested a bit early and you will still get bfp.
How long have you been ttc?

Greyhorses · 27/04/2015 08:28

Hi diamond!

This is only month one and I feel obsessed already Grin I am hoping the novelty will wear off and I will be happy when it happens!
I don't know if I am having symptoms or whether they are normal period type symptoms that I normally ignore as I have never paid much attention before. I will just have to get used to the waiting Smile

findingmyfeet12 · 27/04/2015 09:49

Morning all

Remember - as soon as I read your comment I thought its possibly an implantation bleed?

I have had terrible stomach cramps and an upset stomach this morning - I've had to delay catching a train to deal with it Blush. This seems to be the opposite of what everyone else has (constipation) so I'm not holding out much hope this month. It is unusal for me though as ordinarily I can digest pretty much anything with relative ease.

Sorry, I know it's tmi

Rememberallball · 27/04/2015 12:16

Hello Diamond and finding,

It's too late to test today but will test tomorrow morning while I'm in the shower (means I'm in the bathroom for at least 10 minutes so won't be unusual length of time!). I did wonder about it being implant bleeding but wasn't sure it would be more than spotting!! I tried looking it up but didn't get very far with how similar or different it would be to AF!!

diamondsparkles · 27/04/2015 12:57

Hi greyhorses - I'm a fellow obsessive - this is cycle 10 for me and I was hoping to get that laid back attitude when it happens it happens but unfortunately I can't!! When are you thinking of testing?
Don't worry finding - nothing is tmi here Grin, hope you feel better soon. Are you still holding off from testing for a bit?
Remember - you've got such willpower!! I'd have been straight to buy a test today Smile, I'm terrible though!! Really really hope it was implantation - from what I've read it's lighter than af so could well be Smile
