I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

Morning haquoi, I'm glad you had the weekend to have some time for yourself, you're bound to have the sadness but we're all thinking of you on here and I think it's good we've got the support here. Onwards and upwards is a good way to think too xx. Have you got a plan for this month? Do you do ovulation tests?
I'm not too bad now, have gone through the anger, sadness and disbelief that I can't seem to get pregnant again and am thinking onwards and upwards to cycle 10. I've booked in for reflexology on Thursday as I think my stress levels are really affecting me, never tried it before but will give it a go. Thanks for asking Smile
Hi rememberall- a week to go! Exciting!! Those symptoms sound promising

Rememberallball · 21/04/2015 13:10

Enjoy the reflexology, diamond, I had it a few times by a friend/work colleague years ago - in fact he told me about a health issue I was later confirmed to have!! I used it for relaxation and was so relaxed I fell asleep!!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up in case it's not good news. Then again, it's only the first month with definite +ve opks so can't complain if it takes time - though we've not used contraception fior7 months now!!

Sleepingbunnies · 21/04/2015 15:19

Well day one of the diet is going well!

Flowers to you all x

diamondsparkles · 21/04/2015 20:30

Thanks rememberall, I'm really looking forward to the reflexology. It sounds good for you. Bet you can't wait for this last week to pass!
Good news sleeping!! X

Rememberallball · 22/04/2015 05:33

I'm going crazy waiting, diamond keep looking at the ic tests in the drawer in the bathroom and keep thinking I should do one then think it's only been a week so is far too soon - not due on for another few days

diamondsparkles · 23/04/2015 08:57

Morning everyone Smile
How is everyone today? remember have you still resisted?!
I am going to start my clear blue opk on Sunday which will be cd11, last month for some reason I got a positive on cd12 which was very early for me and resulted af arriving very early too instead of my usual 29 day cycles so who knows what happened and what will happen this month. Have warned dh that next week is going to be very tiring for him!!

diamondsparkles · 23/04/2015 08:58

Ickle and news? How's the diet going sleeping? How are you haquoi?

haquoi123 · 23/04/2015 09:43

Fx for you remember. diamond I'm doing much better, thanks! I don't do ovulation kits (yet), but go by cervical mucus and had some of the lovely egg white stuff this morning. Early for me, but exciting - it will probably be another short cycle! How are you feeling?

ickle I hope things have resolved for you?

sleeping good luck with the diet. I've been introduced to lemon tea (freshly squeezed segment of lemon and hot water) in the mornings which is absolutely amazing and helps you feel fresh.

Hewy I missed your message before, thank you. How are things with you?

Those in the 2ww how's it going?

Isn't it amazing how our bodies just reset our minds? We can be so low and stressed and then ziing! In the words of donkey from Shrek: 'let's do that again!'

Sleepingbunnies · 23/04/2015 11:37

I am really going for the diet and exercise and managed 12 miles on Tuesday!!!! All walking but better than nothing :)

diamondsparkles · 23/04/2015 12:29

Hi haquoi - so pleased to hear you're doing well and that egg white cm sounds very promising - sounds like you need to get busy!!
Loving the shrek reference Smile, I know, it's weird isn't it, was so down I'd failed again last month but now I'm gearing up for ovulation next week I'm feeling positive again. Fingers crossed for for all of us it will be our month and we will be sharing our early pregnancy symptoms soon Grin
Wow sleeping that's really impressive, well done.
Hi strawb - how are you doing? How many dpo are you now?
How are you hewy?

haquoi123 · 23/04/2015 12:39

Wow sleeping that's pretty awesome! Walking is as good as running so just keep going! I went for a long walk in the sun yesterday but in bad shoes and my calves are killing me. Taking time off from running as I hurt my shins. It's annoying, running away from your problems (literally) is the best (and I'm just a beginner) xx

Rememberallball · 23/04/2015 15:38

Hi Diamond, no I've not resisted. Tested this morning which is 9dpo and was bfn but I'm holding onto it being a case of trying too early and that my hpt's are just not that sensitive!!

Off to hospital to see mum in a minute and hoping we'll find out when she might be coming home. The consultant saw her yesterday and told her just how sick she was at the weekend - she was going into renal failure as well as having streptococcal septicaemia and pneumonia!! He said he's amazed by how quickly she's recovering! !

diamondsparkles · 23/04/2015 21:45

Hi remember yes 9 dpo is very early, there's definitely still time for your bfp Grin
Your poor mum! Great to hear she's recovering though, bet that is such a relief, have you found out when she'll be coming home?

hewy · 23/04/2015 22:09

Hi girls. I'm good thanks. Have invested in some preseed for this months attempt (not sure if it's a con but people really seem to rate it highly) and I'm gearing up fertile days. I'm not opk-ing. Just seeing how things go for now. We're dtd most nights atm so hopefully it shouldn't matter which exact day I ovulate. That's my theory anyway. Also banning myself from symptom spotting this month. Hmmm .... let's see how long that lasts!
Great to hear you sounding so positive haquoi.
Sleeping-12 miles is loads! Well done but don't go too hard too soon. I'm juicing veggies to try to change my bad diet habits and get some extra vitamins, but need to get out walking/running too. Feels good to get some exercise.
Diamond, you ready for fertile days??! Exciting!
Ickle hope you're ok. Let us know if your BFP has turned up yet. Fx for you.
Remember-9dpo is early. Don't drive yourself crazy until at least 12dpo. The fewer mad poas days, the better, in my opinion!

Rememberallball · 24/04/2015 07:24

Hi Diamond mum is home today!! Dr put her on an antibiotic I've never heard of (was a nurse so know most) so we asked she stay in to have the first dose and be monitored as she's got allergies to a few common ones and don't want to risk a reaction at home and a return to hospital!! She's also get crazy high bp for her normal range (though is now 'normal high' for someone her age) so they're going to monitor that a bit longer too!!

Hewy I know it was early, I'm just an impatient person. I promise not to test again until Sunday/Monday!!

diamondsparkles · 24/04/2015 07:46

Hi hewy! Let us know how you get on with preseed- I've heard good things about it! I've also banned myself from symptom spotting this month - last month I was terrible!! Yes gearing up for fertile days next week - exciting!! That's a good theory dtd most nights anyway - to be honest with dh working shifts we dtd every night we can anyway so it should be covered. Although I'm stressing a bit because I'm going away for 3 nights tonight - and only get back Monday which is cd12, me and dh haven't been able to dtd this week because of his stupid shifts so I'm just hoping it is not too late when I get back - last month I got a positive ovulation on cd12 but the 2 months before that were cd15 so who knows? Just hope it's not earlier than last month. I'll start testing on Sunday anyway so should know what's going on!
remember that's great news about your mum being home today! Fingers crossed that antibiotic sorts her out! Well done for the willpower about not testing again - you're better than me at that!!!

Rememberallball · 24/04/2015 13:54

Well it looks like I may be out for this month. Either AF is putting in an appearance early or I've got some heavy spotting. +ve opk was last tuesday (14/04), af due by next monday (30/04).

If this were implantation bleeding what should it be like? At the moment it's just staining on toilet paper when I wipe plus a little patch on my undies. I don't usually get any obvious signs of AF arriving and feel the same ad I gave for last week or so.

Am confused.com!!

Sleepingbunnies · 24/04/2015 16:42

My fertile week starts Monday supposedly :)

Means we can get a head start this weekend! Grin

diamondsparkles · 25/04/2015 08:34

Morning everyone!
Well I'm away in the middle of nowhere with the girls and have just discovered wifi!! Means I can catch up with you lot!
Starting my clearblue ovulation tests tomorrow but don't get home til Monday so hope I'm not too late to pounce on dh when I get home!!
sleeping - hopefully mine should start Monday too so we're cycle buddies Grin, jealous you get a head start this weekend though Envy!!
remember how is the spotting today? From what I've heard implantation is usually brown, light and lasts for a couple of days - the timing sounds right - fingers crossed for you.
Anyone testing soon?

Rememberallball · 25/04/2015 11:29

Hi Diamond, I'm feeling less positive today. It seems as if this is more than spotting and more like the start of AF. No obvious clots but definite blood loss so looks like I'll be starting the wait until I can begin peeing on opk's again. Then again, I'm not sure what IB should be like!!

Also got appointment with GP on thuesday to discuss the fertility bloods I had done last month. Testosterone levels were low and they couldn't calculate the androgen free index. No idea what that means in terms of my ability to conceive or maintain a pregnancy though!!

diamondsparkles · 25/04/2015 11:58

Hi remember - that's a shame, that happened to me last month - my af was a few days early, was gutting.
That's good you can go and discuss with your gp then, I'm not sure what it means either - let us know. Hopefully it'll be something minor and won't affect conception or pregnancy.
How's your mum doing?

hewy · 25/04/2015 12:15

Sorry remember. You never know...might not be AF. Let us know. Hope you get some answers. I have no idea what those levels are doing, but hopefully doc will give good advice.
Anyone heard from ickle? If you're out there ickle, let us know how you are. Fx.
My dh is away til tomorrow night and I'm wanting to dtd tonight just in case. Oh well. Patience and trust that timing will be right this month.

Rememberallball · 25/04/2015 12:43

Mum home now, beginning to feel better now she's out of hospital and had a good night's sleep. Its going to take her a while to recover fully but, fx, she's on the way.

Of course I'll keep everyone up to date with progress (or otherwise)!!

diamondsparkles · 25/04/2015 14:07

Hi hewy - yes hopefully the timing will be right for you. I keep wondering about ickle too - are you okay ickle?
That's great news remember about your mum, it definitely sounds like she's on the road to recovery Smile

Sleepingbunnies · 25/04/2015 19:41

Evening all, I have lost 4 lbs tonight!! All the exercise though has made me so sleepy!! Must stay awake tonight long enough to DTD!!!
