Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also know as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't?

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

mae yay!!! Good work!
country happy belated birthday, sounds like a good night!
Ain i think you were asking about the pup - we don't know what she is (think mixture of greyhound/collie/terrier/others) as got her from pound. She is very naughty but also very cute!! Her name is Belle which i regret as think is awesome name for little girl
Trying to motivate myself to go for run...last day of ttc shagging today...phew am wrecked!!
V v impressed with all the al fresco danger shags.

nutellawithbananas · 18/04/2015 09:24

Maemay - that one is a mini size which is fine for doing kids clothes and basic cotton stuff or you just want something to mess with while you decide if you like sewing. If you want to do thicker fabrics like a patchwork or heavy curtains then it probably won't be up to it.
On a JS note nothing happened in our house Sad we drank too much beer and watched TV. I did say he needed to wake me up with his morning glory which has been before DD wakes up all week - so typical that today she was up at the crack of dawn and both of us are bleary eyed and a bit grumpy now.
But sun is shining - got the duvet and pillows airing while the bedding is being washed and it's looking like a fine day. Hope its the same for everyone else around the country... x

maemay · 18/04/2015 09:30

Nut good excuse to "christen" the new sheets tonight, eh!
Or an afternoon quickie if DD has a nap still??

Hobbit19 · 18/04/2015 10:20

Yes ewu providing all goes well edd 25th December also. DH says we are calling it Jesus and going to the hospital on a donkey. I have tried to explain to him that plenty of people have been born on the 25th December over the last 2000 years and none of them have been, you know, the actual messiah. He is having none of it. Come and join in on the grads Fred too.

Hobbit19 · 18/04/2015 10:21

Airing duvet and pillows? Is that a thing?! (Feel like a scruff bag now!) Shock

Hobbit19 · 18/04/2015 11:22

Flippin eck Viroids, just thought that posting about due dates on here was a spectacularly insensitive thing to do when some of you are having a hard time at the mo. I'm so sorry. I purposely didn't post much the other day but forgot myself just now. I do normally suffer quite badly from foot in mouth disease but this is bad even for me. Feel like a right twunt, please forgive. So sorry if I have caused anyone more upset than they are already dealing with. Xxxx

nutellawithbananas · 18/04/2015 11:28

OneYorkshirepud - it's my forrin background Wink - if it's a nice day while doing bedding then hang the duvet out as well - double that freshness smell! Other half has a sweaty head so I stick the pillows on the line as well - but thats just me - have never seen anyone else do that!
Too much to do during nap time but tonighy fresh sheets if coupled with a good de fuzzing of body hair is pretty much guaranteed to have me in the mood!!!!

Stoatystoat · 18/04/2015 12:44

Bit better today. I've had a rough couple of days but going to stop feeling sorry for myself now. Each bfn is allowed a day or two of wallowing I think and now trying to be a bit less down.

I'm now two days late. This is my second post miscarriage period, which came 28 days after the mc. I know my cycle is fucked now which means next month is defo contraband or a shagathon. I am on cd 30 now.

I'm not sure when I ovulated last month. Does the length of my period make a difference? I bled for 9 days last month. It was a very heavy period at one point, lots of clotting.

Does that mean I will have ovulated later? If this is going to be a long cycle....biology lesson anyone?!

Shagging took place on CD 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 25 by the way.

Is it possible I will miss a period altogether? I'm really worried. I've always been like clockwork and having irrational thoughts that the miscarriage has broken me physically.

5hell · 18/04/2015 13:51

Good JSing stoat keep that up and im sure u'll get another bfp soon x

Afraid i dont know for sure if longer period = later ov/longer cycle, but instinct says not necessarily, however I'm sure it will take a little while for cycle to settle

Pud i for one am not offended or upset by dd talk so i wouldn't worry...we dont seem an easily offended bunch on here generally
RL is a different matter of course...e.g. buying a thermometer today - why do they ALL have pictures of babies on?! Not a bbt therm either! Wasnt upset by it, more angered Hmm

Stoatystoat · 18/04/2015 13:58

Thanks 5hell - I'm convinced I'm doing it all wrong!! How are you feeling?

5hell · 18/04/2015 14:03

Ok-ish today thanks stoat. Was quite rough and teary yesterday pm but seem to have calmed down now. Going to do a little gardening in the sun now.

honeysucklejasmine · 18/04/2015 14:59

Lol Pud, I thought it was a very entertaining set of posts. I'd love to see the midwives faces if you turn up on a donkey. BTW, I think Emmanuel would be a good Christmas boy name. Wink

We are putting in log roll borders. We know how to live!

Stoatystoat · 18/04/2015 16:51

It's a rubbish time but you are being very strong. Its very up and down in my experience, don't be alarmed when you have rough days, better days follow 5hell

auxiliaryauroch · 18/04/2015 19:30

Will get back to y'all a bit later but have to tell you that I thought "sewing machine" was a foof euphemism Blush for quite some time while scanning the last three pages or so!

WouldRatherHaveWine · 18/04/2015 20:13

stoat I'm approaching 6m post MC and I'm still waiting to have a normal 28 day cycle. First 3 were all very late

justtheonethen · 18/04/2015 21:01

pud not offended at all! You could navigate to hospital by the brightest star!

CarrotPuff · 18/04/2015 21:27

5hell stay strong, it's so difficult but you're doing so great Flowers

stoat I'm sure your body isn't broken, just taking a bit to get back to normal. I hope you don't get to find that out next cycle though as you'll get your BFP Wink

Belated happy birthday Country!

pud you'd have to take some barn decorations with you as well...

All you talented people... I hate sewing with passion, so I won't even pretend it's something I'm thinking of starting. All your works look so lovely though, I would love to make blankets, toys etc. for my children...

We went away to the coast yesterday, it's DP's bday today. It wasn't as warm as during the week but was still lovely. Started this month's shagathon too, will aim for EOD this time, as last month it was more of E3D. Gx it works...

Had a weird dream last night in which DP told me that my pubic hair is too long and is tickling his balls when we're shagging Hmm (which is not true in case you wondered!)

fallenstar27 · 18/04/2015 21:40

Yes, happy belated birthday country!

I too have zero skills in sewing/knitting/crochet etc.

I have some fairly impressive arse rain right now. As does DH. Beginning to wonder if I poisoned us with seafood last night :/

Was out for dinner tonight and this huge family kicked up a fuss and shouted at the poor girl serving them for ages. When we left I told the manager we'd heard it all and that they were being completely unreasonable and that the girl handled it very well. I hope she doesn't get into troubled because they complained and refused to pay for meal. Reckon they were total chancers. Made me so angry.

When am I allowed to piss again viroids? I should be sensible and just wait for af to make an appearance right?

Hobbit19 · 18/04/2015 21:45

Wait is AF still not here Fallen? Are your cycles normally regular? I would try again with FMU tomorrow if you have cheapies.

Thanks for being kind Viroids, felt like a right wally earlier. Defo up for barn decor though Carrot, I'm thinking bunting. Speaking of, I've put a photo of the quilt on FB.

jellypi3 · 18/04/2015 22:32

Evening viroids. I have had a lovely day at the Zoo today with my godson who is 14 months.

I've not managed to read back, feeling rather unwell now (darn cold). Anywho I'm off to football tomorrow then Wales on Monday yay!!!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/04/2015 23:55

Oooh, which zoo Jelly? Colchester? Glad you had a good day Smile

Still bunged up. Can't taste anything. The joy has gone from my life.

fallenstar27 · 19/04/2015 07:21

pud I came off the pill about 42 days ago. Am 16 dpo if opk/ewcm was right, which I understand it might not have been. I've peed already (not oas) this morning so I'll just wait a while longer.

LaLaLaaaa · 19/04/2015 07:37

Morning viroids!

Stoat I'm so sorry you're struggling. Your cycles may take a while to normalise. My first one after mc was 2 weeks of complete temping gibberish, followed by my normal cycle. I iced on cd 28 or 30 I can't remember exactly which

I'm admiring of all your craftyness! I can draw very well but not make things

Another beautiful day here - I didn't garden yesterday so I can enjoy sitting in it

jellypi3 · 19/04/2015 07:45

Yeah it was Colchester honey. I'm not a huge fan of zoo's and I do think some of Colchester's enclosures are too small but my godson had fun :)

This cold is crippling me, not sure if I'll be able to not sneeze or cough on anyone at football!

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 19/04/2015 07:49

*did garden. Otherwise that makes no blinking sense! Grin
