Right, I have been semi absent today due to bouts of cleaning and parent-sitting (they're staying at mine tonight), and have to go to bed soon as getting up very early to go to a family wedding in Glasgow, so this is going to bed quick and I've only skim read back.

Dong quai is some sort of herbal shit that's supposed to increase blood flow to the pelvis and increade fertility. It's also supposed to be able to invite back an absent period, hence the reason it's part of my collection. However, it tastes gross and even though you swallow the pills whole, if you happen to burp after you've taken them, the powder seems to travel up your throat and enter your mouth. I have only taken two of the buggers and I've had them for about 2 months. They make me gip.

Purdie The dress is lovely. I bought some Christmas jumpers from Peacocks. They were awesome. I watch Emmerdale and Correh.

Melon I really feel for you my lovely. Limbo is just horrific. It's coming up to the 6 months mark and no AF for me. Hang in there. Flowers

Sparkly Sorry for the achey tits. Sad

Frog Sorry for the bloody bum Sad

Dizzy Sorry for the 'orrible wait Sad

ibeka Yay for the chalky CM. Grin

Rainy Happy birthday!! Hope you've had a fab day. Grin

to Pug Hope everything is ok with you sweetie Grin

And last, but by no means least- DO WE HAVE AN UPDATE ON TESSIE'S IRONING????!!!! Did she get it done, or do I have to send out the St Bernard's? Hmm

I may be absent again for the next couple of days. I'm heading up to the Northern Territories of Scotland to look for my missing period a family wedding. I will be taking my Kindle and trying to check in on you lot (my phone is tragic and will not connect to the Internet) because it was made before the Internet was invented

Love you all! to anyone I have unintentionally missed. x x x

eskimolaura · 09/04/2015 23:18

Haha Freudian slip: 'This is going to be quick (which it wasn't, was it?) not bed quick.

eskimolaura · 09/04/2015 23:21

Oh, oh, oh, I almost forgot... I bought my new thermometer from the Baby Mad site, so thank you mummy but I don't need your Prime account now Grin

And Dizzy we can learn to temp together :)

Hope it sheds some light on what the actual is going on with my un-bloody body right now!

Night everyone x x

Nomio230 · 09/04/2015 23:40

Pixa, your DH sounds lovely. Want to swap?! I am pleased you have something to look forward to.

Ibeca, I buy Vertese capsules. They are veggie and contain omega 3,6&9.

Purdie, your dad sounds like an absolute nightmare. It is no wonder you ended up with MH problems after dealing with that throughout childhood.

Lovely Sparkly, I know you will hate me for saying this, but I think you just need to be patient. You know you can get pregnant & it hasn't been long since your MC. You will get there & will be a brilliant mummy,

Nomio230 · 09/04/2015 23:43

Sorry Ibeka, I spelt your name wrong in that last post. Oops!

Eskimo, I hope you have a brilliant time, and that you find your missing AF!

Sparkly123 · 09/04/2015 23:56

Nomio I know. Patience is the key. Course I don't hate you you fool! WinkFlowers thanks Flowers

Sparkly123 · 10/04/2015 00:06

Dizzy thank you for the positivity. Sorry for being a moan. It's not me. I just find this tough at times, we all have these days I guess.i hope those that have been trying so much longer don't find it insensitive in any way that I'm sad at 8 months. I really don't mean to be.Flowers I hope you get a walk in app at docs Tomor but if not pleased you have a nice weekend planned.. Monday comes round before you know it right and the weekend is a goner! Fingers crossed for you Flowers

DizzyMerry · 10/04/2015 00:41

Sparkly you could never be insensitive! The pain and heartache is still the same no matter how long you are trying because we are longing to be pregnant, to have a baby and that is such an intense feeling. I clearly remember the disappointment when I didn't conceive my first month of trying! You have also had the heartbreak of a mc to endure and your positivity helps you to look forward but as you say none of us can be upbeat all the time. We will get these occasional blips but up we get again. You will get that truly deserved bfp. This megabus will be full of mega bfp's, I just know it.

Sparkly123 · 10/04/2015 00:47

Thanks so much Dizzy perfect pre bed pep talk! You are right. It's the longing for that baby. It doesn't go away.Isn't it insane how you can be so down one minute yet feel so positive about moving forward the next?! hormones Thank you Flowers

Feeling v sorry for myself at being awake at this time :( Think I am coming down with something, have really quite bad stabby pains in upper abdomen. Also was having hot flushes. Really don't want to be ill for my weekend :(

Love the dress Purdie which reminds me that I need some summer clothes!

Sorry to hear of problems with DMs Victoria, Melon and Sparkly.

nightandthelight · 10/04/2015 03:51

Nomio you might just want to check those omega tablets with your doc! Mine informed me that veggie omega supplements increase chance of MC :(

nightandthelight · 10/04/2015 03:58

Went to loo, realised that I have back pain, abdomen pain and stabby boob pain. Am basically broken. Please send aid! Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 10/04/2015 07:07

night sorry for the pains.

sparkly sorry you're feeling down. 1 months is long enough for anyone to be trying and I imagine as the months drag on it gets that little bit more painful. You were pregnant so we know your body can do it. I wish I had your ability to keep you so positive like you do with the rest of us. Chip up chuck.

victoria401 · 10/04/2015 07:35

Blimey you wrote 3 pages after I went to bed! sparkly don't you ever sleep? You're always posting after midnight!

Dh is being as nice as pie, even offered to take me out for lunch tomorrow! Most odd....

Had another sex dream last night about a guy in work! Don't normally have sex dreams close to af! They're usually saved for ov time! Talking of af, still no sign of anything. No spotting/ cramps worth mentioning. But could still hit full flow tomorrow with no warning with massive cramps causing me to miss Zumba

Hope you're ok night and your symptoms mean you are preg and not ill x

Hope you're ok this morning too sparkly

In fact hope everyone is ok this morning :-)

Pikz · 10/04/2015 07:36

Think I'm finally oving on cd25. Fml.

Pikz · 10/04/2015 08:00

Actually it's cd26 which means it actually happens on cd27 which makes it a 39 day cycle :(

nightandthelight · 10/04/2015 08:03

I really hope so Victoria, with my sore boobs and slight nausea I will be putting in a formal complaint if I am not pg Grin

Great news that you have no sign of AF arriving! Fx for you :)

nightandthelight · 10/04/2015 08:04

Pikz that sucks, do you normally have long cycles? Flowers

Pixa · 10/04/2015 08:10

Sorry Nomio I can't swap - I wouldn't function well without DH! Has there been any house news yet, lovely?

Victoria I have to laugh at your sex dream - its always awkward when it's a sex dream about the guy from work.

Pikz Am I right in thinking you don't temp yet? If so, it might be worth giving it a go. Sending Flowers your way.

Spoke to DH this morning about supplements, temping and just being a bit more proactive, and he seems genuinely enthused. This weekend will mainly be spent conducting lots and lots of research on all of the different recommended supplements to see what's what. I might do a quick look at some herbal stuff too - I have a friend who's mother was a herbalist. My friend was told my the doctors that it was near impossible for her to have any more children. Her mum made her drink lady's mantle and low and behold she got pregnant again. So, lots of research I may even produce a spreadsheet

Hope you all have a lovely today. It's Thai Friday day for me. Grin

auxiliaryauroch · 10/04/2015 08:38

eskimo you should try them loch herbs. Might help with the period finding!
night I think that St. Bernard from earlier would do. I'm an ibuprofen fan for back pain fwiw. But there is the whole pregmancy thing. Of course I knly found out at about seven weeks for dc and I'd been glugging ibuprofen throughout. Kid seems okay.
