At this price I can afford to take 400mg a day, which is what The Lister recommend (and they are the gods of UK IVF clinics). Co-enzyme Q10 is proved to improve oocytes. The very least you and I need to be doing is necking these bad boys. The 30mg stuff just won't cut it. My DH has been taking 120mg per day for yonks because we've been skint, but men & women need to be on at least 300mg per day for this stuff to really impact our reproductive chances (DH was on 300mg when his sperm went through the roof in terms of quality and quantity right before IVF. Selenium: Spinners, we need this big time. Us and our DH's. Aldi do cheap brazil nits but if you hate them you can buy the micronised form of selenium. Your DH needs to be taking zinc, too, and vit C. That's just four things he has to take every day. As far as I'm concerned, any man who refuses supps when we're desperate for a baby is a f*king ct. Fact. Get him told. Let's do this Spinners!

Butter, a cycle length range of between 27 and 33 days is pretty normal, it really is. I don't like the 38-day one though. It is normal to ovulate slightly later or earlier than usual, which accounts for a 27-day cycle and then a 33-day one. Let's say, then, you ovulate between CD14 and CD20. Are you DTD to cover all these bases? Are you having sex EOD from CD10-22? I wouldn't be, but that's because I'm a lazy twunt and I use OPKs to narrow the window down a bit. Do you use them? I can't remember. Come on, missus, let's get you preggo....

Bloody hell Purdey, I've just checked the Q10 dp and I are taking and it's 30 measly mg!!! No wonder I'm not upduffed!!!!! He's really good at taking his vits, I leave him a selection in a bowl by his bed every night he's taking 50mg zinc, 300mg magnesium, fertility for men capsules and 2000mg vit C. Do you think that's ok mg wise? Thanks for the link, going to order them now!!

mrsb not really. Fertility clinic were not interested much in spotting.. I don't know what other tests I could have now I've had the last one on the list- the HSG. What else can they do? I just think that because my bbt is at it's highest when I spot it can't be due to low progesterone? When do you spot from? Enjoy your roasties! Yes the sun makes everything better! Ha.

Re Spotting mrsb etc.. Here's my chart. What I was saying earlier- So when I have my brown spotting my temps are at their highest

sparkly I usually have brown spotting 5/6 days before af. This time though I had bright red 7 days before. I've not ever had any tests for fertility, so maybe I'll get d21 bloods??

Purdey Can you please give me a broken down, bullet point list of the vitamins that I should be taking and the vitamins that DH should be taking, plus the dosage? coz I is a bit fick I just need it spelt out so I can keep track and buy it all in one go. I'm already taking conception tablets and he is taking zinc, but that's all.
