Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

Af aux? Hope you're ok Thanks

Leamice · 06/04/2015 16:23

Sorry for the BFN Duchess :(

I had another evap - i almost thought i was getting a line but didn't show until after time limit again and no real colour to it. Those stupid cheap amazon tests, lots of reviews say they're terrible for evaps. I have some FRER and a digi lined but only going to test with those if I get an actual line, probably not this cycle haha! DH and I bought those all optimistically when my AF returned and we started talking about trying for number 2, of course as soon as we decided to try AF goes AWAL... typical!

So did AF show or just a temp drop Aux?

RosieRue52 · 06/04/2015 18:27

leam I'm the same with losing baby weight!! Working on it now.

Who is the expert at charting? Not sure where to draw coverline as temps are all over the place, but based on temp, opks & cm I ovulated on the 1st

6dpo & losing hope of bfp, if it isnt this month hopefully will invest in some cb advanced opks.

RosieRue52 · 06/04/2015 20:25

It won't let me post my chart Angry

RosieRue52 · 06/04/2015 20:27

Ohh it did work!! [Grin] It did not show in the preview

AvaAmulet · 06/04/2015 21:39

Rosie, I'm not an expert and I'm rubbish at stuff like this, but if you input your temps into an app like ff or mydays (the one I use) it draws the cover line for you HTH Wink

Duchess007 · 06/04/2015 22:01

Sorry for the late reply Mumo, ended up making the most of the nice weather and stayed out all day! I'm not convinced I ovulated at all so am going to have to take the leap and start temping next cycle. I want to use OPK's too but think it's going to be too expensive-my cycles have been very long in the past so I would need to buy so many each month I would have to spend a fortune!

Have agreed with DH I will wait til Friday before testing again (if AF hasn't arrived of course). Feel a bit stupid to still be hopeful Sad We'll see what happens I guess!

AvaAmulet · 06/04/2015 22:19

Don't feel stupid for being hopeful, Duchess Flowers

I'd definitely recommend temping and using sticks together. I will continue to use the cheapie amazon sticks now I know they do work - I got my first positive last cycle following my first 'proper' AF. All the months I thought they weren't working I was probably experiencing anovulatory cycles, looking back Hmm

Mumof1sofar · 06/04/2015 22:21

Duchess we can be temping buddies as I'm planning to temp next cycle too. Will download fertility friend. Smile

Mumof1sofar · 06/04/2015 22:21

That is obvs unless you get your bfp on Fri... Fx for you Thanks

peardrop2 · 06/04/2015 22:43

Looks like a lot of us have started temping Smile

AvaAmulet · 06/04/2015 23:08

My stupid temps are still well above my cover line today, and stupid AF seems to have ended after 2.5 days....wtf cycles indeed Hmm

RosieRue52 · 07/04/2015 04:11

Fertility friend won't let me chart w/o AF days & I havn't had period yet Confused

auxiliaryauroch · 07/04/2015 04:57

leam nope AF showed. Hence that little pink block at the end of the chart. I'm probably going to start soy tomorrow in an attempt to bring ov down from cd25 to something more reasonable. I'm pretty bumbed that AF showed so soon again. No chance for an egg to implant at all. :(

Mumof1sofar · 07/04/2015 06:38

Sorry for af aux Thanks

Omg I don't believe it... After 9 days of flashing smileys I got my fixed smiley this morning!!! GrinGrinGrin

Leamice · 07/04/2015 06:58

Oh sorry Aux, I'm not great with understanding charts as never done and didn't notice that. I'm going to start charting next cycle so imagine I'll be an expert by the end of the year lol.

Yay Mumo! That's great! Sending baby dust.

Mumof1sofar · 07/04/2015 07:34

Thanks Lea Smile So chuffed that I am actually ovulating! I had really given up. Will definitely be charting with you if I don't get my bfp this month Smile

auxiliaryauroch · 07/04/2015 07:35

No problem leam I've only been charting for three cycles so still learning too.
mumo!!!!!!!!!!!

AvaAmulet · 07/04/2015 09:38

Yay, Mumo! Well done for sticking with it Wink and good luck! Grin

Proper temp drop this morning. Actually below cover line now. Finally. Hmm

Great news Mumo! Good job you've stuck with it after so many flashing smileys!

Still no sign of AF here. At least the weather is lovely so I can take DD out and take my mind off things for a bit. I need to pick up a new thermometer too as I think someone said up thread (or on previous thread) that you need one that measures to two decimal places. Is that right?

AvaAmulet · 07/04/2015 11:55

Ruth, that's what mine looked like - I couldn't believe it! I took a pic too Grin

Duchess, I mentioned the measuring to 2 decimal places. I don't think you necessarily need one that does, it's just my preference Wink x

Mumof1sofar · 07/04/2015 15:00

Thank you ladies Smile Can't wait for DH to get home from work so we can dtd (after being so sick of doing it before!)

Ruth I didn't ov til cd20 so good luck. My last cycle was only 24 days (first since af came back) so I'm a bit worried I'll have a v short luteal phase too Hmm

Fx for you duchess.

Please can someone give me some advice on introducing formula in the day/cutting back on bf-ing? Dc is 11 mo & currently I bf at 7, 10.30, 2.30 & 6.30. Want to replace the 2 daytime feeds with formula (or should I look at dropping morning one completely??) but NO idea how to go about it. Dc & I both love bf-ing so I have mixed feelings & not sure how she'd take it. I would like to feed her with a beaker not a bottle as she's good at drinking from that by herself. Any advice would be great please! Sorry this is so long.

peardrop2 · 07/04/2015 15:33

Mumofone - when I cut down i introduced a Tomee Tipee beaker of cows milk at 11am and 2:30/3pm. That meant I was only bf at 7am and 7pm from 12 months up until 22 months. Snacks worked well as distractions...especially bright and interesting things like slices of mango, peeling a banana, colourful peppers and peanut butter on rice cakes.

peardrop2 · 07/04/2015 15:47

Mumof1 - don't worry about your LP I ended up have a 10 day LP which made a very long cycle and as you've ovulated sooner then me I think you will do better.

Cd6 for me. AF is on her way out. Not much going on. It's nearly been a week since I stopped bf now. Hopefully my hormones will be in a better place this month.
