Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

Mumofone - when I stopped the morning feed (the last feed) ds was no longer interested in drinking cows milk. It's like he decided that if there was no boob he didn't want ANY drinking milk. So, we go straight to breakfast. He eats milk with his cereal and plenty of yoghurt and cheese so all is fine. What have you chosen to do?

Lea - I echo what the others say. Any amount of bf is amazing and it really is so child dependant. I may have stopped earlier then 22 months if ds wasn't interest but there was no way he wanted to stop early so that was that. Smile

Ava - don't worry about the future. Dc2 might not even want to feed as much as dc1 did. Maybe things will be different next time and you will fall pregnant super early because you thought it would take forever so you didn't use protection. A surprise 3rd Wink

AvaAmulet · 13/05/2015 19:43

Thanks Pear Wink I'm on cd 14 but I can't say how many dpo I am as, from my temps and opks, it's not obvious whether I have ov'd yet. I thought my temps would shoot up today after the dip yesterday, to signify ov, but they haven't - just plateaued Confused

AvaAmulet · 13/05/2015 19:50

And Pear, ditto with pg ladies and DC#1 age gap calculations! I did the same thing whilst on hols - over run with little uns - mostly there seemed to this 'perfect' 3-3.5 year age gap though, which was interesting...and reassuring... Wink Smile

Really hope none of them clocked me looking at them with a look of concentration on my face while I did the estimated math lol Blush Confused

Mumof1sofar · 13/05/2015 19:52

Yay congrats mistletoe SmileSmileSmile So exciting! What's your edd?

Thanks all for the morning feeding info - v helpful. Since I cut down to 2 BF a day, dd has shown much less interest in her evening BF - only lasts about 5 mins now! Think starting next week I'll replace that one with a beaker of cow's milk.

Btw I saw an article in the paper about a lady with a 3yo dd who naturally conceived quads!!! ShockShockShock

AvaAmulet · 13/05/2015 20:08

OMG! Just Poas and got a really strong, thick test line! An actual positive! I didn't get a line nearly as dark or bold last month! It's perked me up - I'm not 'broken' this month after all! Actually feel excited about seizing the opportunity to dtd when DH gets in now. DD is already sound asleep...but DH isn't home til 10pm - typical Hmm

Good news, Mumo, keep up the good work (thumbs up) Wink Smile

At 4.15am this morning I let DD feed for a bit and in her sleepy state she allowed me to convince her that booby was then empty and we'd have to wait until later to feed some more, when booby fills back up again. She went back to sleep and didn't ask for boob later when I was getting ready to go to work, so I didn't end up feeding again until 6.15pm. Only one more feed after that then bed - yay Smile

AvaAmulet · 13/05/2015 20:10

OMG for totally different reasons re quads though Shock indeed!

peardrop2 · 13/05/2015 20:15

Ava - brilliant news! I'm totally counting on you falling pregnant this month as I seem to be following your patterns. No pressure Wink I am super envious that you OV at the right time cd14. My body is still not showing any signs of OV earlier this month boo hoo Confused I think I have longer cycles then you though so I'm still in for a chance. I would ideally like to OV on cd19 this month to give me a 12 dpo. I'm only on cd11.

AvaAmulet · 13/05/2015 20:24

I've only been having a max. 27 day cycle though, so my LP may turn out to be 11 days and possibly too short? I really hope you get your bfp soon, and that I'm not far behind Wink Good luck!x

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 13/05/2015 20:26

Thanks GrinGrin
Edd is 18th jan, ds will be 2 on the 10th.
It doesn't feel real! Keep waiting for AF Shock
May need to poas a thousand more times!

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 13/05/2015 20:27

I kept away from the boards because I convinced myself if I obsessed too much it wouldn't happen

Mumof1sofar · 13/05/2015 20:46

What were your stats mistletoe? So pleased for you Smile

Ava that's great news Smile good luck this cycle.

I'm on cd24 but I'm just assuming I'm out this month as only dtd on the day of a +ve opk & the day after so think it was too late. I've had no symptoms apart from swollen boobs which I get before af anyway. This is the 1st 2ww I haven't even been bothered about - just pretty sure it's not my month (& actually feel ok about that!)

peardrop2 · 13/05/2015 21:23

Mumofone - sounds to me like you dtd at the right times! You're next in line Wink

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 13/05/2015 21:28

I'm 34 ttc #3, cycle 2, dd (9) and ds 16m still BF on demand.
AF came back at 5 months Shock

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 13/05/2015 21:29

Used ovia app, no temping or anything but managed to dtd 4 out of 6 green days Grin

AvaAmulet · 13/05/2015 22:04

Dangly legs here - yay - and it's not even 10.05pm yet lol Wink Grin

AvaAmulet · 13/05/2015 22:45

Been googling success stories with a 10-11 day LP to remind myself that although a 12-14 day LP is considered the norm a bfp is still possible with a shorter one... And I said I was no longer obsessing about ttc Hmm Grin

peardrop2 · 14/05/2015 07:48

Ava - yay indeed! SmileSmile When is AF due this month? It's totally possible to get a bfp with a 10dpo!

I am sooooo excited!!!! I woke up today to a flashing smiley. On cd12!!!!! I've not ovulated this early before so I'm feeling really really positive about this Smile Normally I don't ovulate until cd21! This is a whole week early. Can't wait to start tonight now! Only a little bad point is that I don't have my usual cm going on. Trying to ignore that side Blush

Mumof1sofar · 14/05/2015 07:55

Yay pear! I use preseed as since having dd I've felt drier generally (tmi!) & in the earlier days I was also worried that it would be painful without anything! Now it's become a habit!

Thanks for sharing your stats, mistletoe. Hope you have a happy & healthy pregnancy Smile

Mumof1sofar · 14/05/2015 07:55

Go Ava Smile

Thanks Mumo Grin going to try to dtd again tonite and maybe tomorrow for luck if (TMI alert!) cm allows Blush

Yay Pear! So pleased for you! The cm could still be present, but inside rather than outside iykwim? Good luck! Grin

With me ov'ing later and you ov'ing earlier we'll be testing around the same time, Pear Grin AF due around 24th May for me. I praying for BFP's all round, but hope you get in there first after all your hard work Wink Grin

My temp reached an all-time low this morning. Needless to say I am over the moon. All I need now is a big increase tomorrow and I'll be Grin Grin Grin fx fx fx!

AvaAmulet · 14/05/2015 10:09

Thanks Ruth, I got my positive opk yesterday which let me know I should ov in the next 24 hours, and lo and behold I've had my temp drop today at cd15. If I get a good increase in temps tomorrow (above my cover line) I'll know I definitely ovulated on cd15, which would hopefully give me an 11-12 day lp Smile

Actually feeling quite excited and positive about it all again now. I really thought I'd be automatically out this month with all the feeds due to illness in the first half of my cycle. Sooo pleased and relived that I've ov'd after all. DD's cold is gone and her cough is a lot better now, so if I can bf as little as I have done over the last 36 hours for the entire 2ww I'm hoping I'll be giving myself the best possible chance of getting that elusive bfp Smile

.....And weaning altogether by 2.4, my desired cut off point, but 'baby steps' lol Wink....

AvaAmulet · 14/05/2015 16:27

Mumo, when are you testing? Just re-read your post - you're definitely not out this month - you dtd the day of ov and the day after, right? You're still in, but more likely to conceive a boy Wink Good luck x

Is anyone else currently in/almost in the 2ww with me, Pear and Mumo? (Sorry if I've missed anyone out)

I'm at work today but I'm having trouble focussing Blush ... I feel more hopeful for the two of you, Pear & Mumo, as I've not yet managed to consistently cut down on feeds but... fx fx fx for all of us .... x

I must not symptom spot

peardrop2 · 14/05/2015 22:18

Ava - well that's silly of you to think that your chances are tampered by bf because we see so many ladies on this thread say "yay I've got my bfp and I'm still bf" Grin Could be you!!!

I am dangling legs in air. So grateful to be in this position...literally!! Please God may this be the last time I have to go through this stress.
