Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

Hi greataunt!

I hope everyone is well, nothing much to report here Sad I'm still peeling on opks, still getting nearly but not positive lines, I have switched the last few morning feeds to formula (they were my favourite) I'm feeling such a strong need to be pregnant at the moment Blush I think my body is stuck trying to ovulate but can't so hoping dropping to just one feed will do the trick.

Mumof1 - I think the lady I was talking to last week has either delayed my box arriving because she told me I could only give samples from cd1 or because I was angry that they misinformed me all together that maybe she thought I didn't want to do it anymore. Either way I'm annoyed because now it's another thing I have to chase.

They have sent me the dual hormone opks - the same ones I was using before Smile I had just ordered some from amazon so this will save me using them this month Smile

Pear, I think they need you to start from the beginning of your cycle though so they are probably just waiting for your cd1 Smile

Hi great. Not quite 40 yet but feeling similarly worried about it catching up to me before managing to conceive #2. Cut back bf massively in dec to forces AF to reappear in January but my cycles have been messy since then with very very short lp's. Sad
Best of luck with cutting down!

Sorry for being scarce guys. Very busy around here lately. I'll be back on board soon again though I think!
Hope you're all managing okay with bf and cutting down or just ambling along to see what happens. Just put dc down but must go to sleep as am knackered myself!

Only thing to report here is that my temps were doing that they did last cycle - going up in increments and plateauing/dipping slightly eod - but they've dropped now 2 days in a row .... Sad

Mumo, I just deleted a long-winded post about what my temps mean, but it just got confusing and boring.... Basically I'm concerned that I may not have enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy even if I did, by some miracle, get a bfp, as my temps are not v.high at all (they also need to remain high for 18+ days to indicate a pregnancy and I'm thinking mine are just gonna keep dropping now Sad)

I am so tempted to analyse compare my chart against google images of other people's bbt charts that went on to get bfp's but I did this last month and got my hopes up drove myself crazy Confused I promised myself I would not do it this month.... I'm wavering though! Shock

If I get another temp drop in the morning I think I'll be out for this month too Hmm

Mumof1 - wasn't so much a disagreement but more frustration from my side because they had failed to tell me that they need samples from cd 1 so I had missed the boat for receiving my free stuff for this cycle. She said I would get my box long before my next cycle starts.

Thanks Ruth, as frustrating as temping is I do really like the fact that it gives me advance warning of getting a bfn/AF on her way, it kind if eases the disappointment if I know what's coming (I don't like surprises, I think I may be a bit of a control freak Wink Blush) Also, there's no guarantee that my temps would be higher if DD wasn't Breastfed - it might just be 'one of those things' Hmm

Oh, and GreatAunt, what Ruth said - I've been researching my family tree and my grandfather's great-grandmother in the 1800's had 25 years of childbearing Shock and had her last baby when she was 45 Wink x
