Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

I don't think I'm using the right thermometer. I'm using my sons Tommee tippee thermometer but I'm sure last time when I conceived ds I had to buy a proper body basal thermometer!

AvaAmulet · 23/04/2015 07:16

Sorry Pear, I don't think I'm a temping expert, lol. I'm envious of your high temps but they should be lower during the first half of your cycle to indicate the estrogen then go up after ov to indicate progesterone - I bought a bbt thermometer from Amazon, but apparently you can use any? I just didn't want to use DDs Tomee Tippee one...maybe buy a bbt thermometer (mine was only cheap) for next cycle though? Unless you get your bfp in the meantime, of course Wink

peardrop2 · 23/04/2015 08:09

Yeah Ava I really don't think you can use the TT thermometer. Not sure why I went with that idea...oh yeah I wanted to save money Wink Oh well I'll just have to ignore temping this month then. Nothing I can do about it now and like you say I'll buy a cheapie bb when AF arrives. Which I'm fully expecting now btw! I don't feel like we've DTD enough at all. In fact this month will be our least trying month so it will be an absolute miracle if I fall pregnant. I tried to get DH in the mood this morning and failed miserably Hmm I couldn't be more annoyed that he seems to have lost his mojo this month and just isn't putting the same amount of care like in previous months Confused So, we've only managed two afternoons and will try again tonight. To say I've only DtD twice this month just sounds pathetic Confused I know though...it only takes the once bla bla. Terrible at listening to my own advice Wink

peardrop2 · 23/04/2015 08:12

Ava - does that mean you managed to see my chart?

peardrop2 · 23/04/2015 08:14

Did anyone watch OBEM with that couple taking 7 years to conceive after marriage? Makes me terrible for all my moans Shock

Mumof1sofar · 23/04/2015 08:41

I saw it, pear. So glad they managed to have a healthy baby in the end though Smile Pear, sorry your dh isn't making the effort this month, maybe have a chat with him.

Sorry to hear that, Ruth Sad

auxiliaryauroch · 23/04/2015 10:41

ruth I'm sorry! I know EXACTLY how you feel! :(

Leamice · 23/04/2015 11:53

Sorry for AF showing up Ruth

I can't bring myself to watch OBEM yet, think I'll just feel too desperately broody and green with envy...bit pathetic right?! When (or if) I manage to get knocked up I'll be sure to go back and watch haha!

AvaAmulet · 23/04/2015 13:26

No, Pear, I can't see your chart, but I remembered you saying about your temps the other day Wink

How ironic would it be if we both get our bfp's this month after ALL the effort we've put in during previous months Hmm

AvaAmulet · 23/04/2015 13:27

Sorry AF arrived, Ruth Sad

AvaAmulet · 23/04/2015 13:46

I don't watch OBEM now, so I haven't seen that lady, but I was told yesterday that one of my colleagues in going through a divorce. She's such a lovely person, and has only been married for a couple of years. They bought a lovely big house together in a nice village to settle down and raise their future children in but her hubby lost his job about a year ago and one thing led to another and he's instigated a divorce. I know she's better off without him if he doesn't appreciate her (she really is such a genuinely, lovely person) but I know she desperately wanted to start having babies within a year or so of getting married and even had her names picked out. I know that at 35/36 there's still time but I still feel so disappointed for her Sad

We are already so blessed - with any amount of DC's we already have what so many women would love to, and may never, have Flowers x

peardrop2 · 23/04/2015 15:51

Afternoon! I've returned back from the newborn play date. By some miracle DS did not fall asleep on the long journey home so DH was able to make it up to me Wink

Ooooooo I am so broody. Newborn was just so small and adorable and I even managed to rock the little cutie to sleep! It was like having rose petals in my arms ??

On the journey there I managed to speak to someone at CB. Apparently my box is coming in a few days so panic over.

Ava - I know what you mean about being grateful with one but its soooooo hard when you want number 2! Blush I'm totally baffled by my temps and trying not to think too much into it as it looks like I'm not ovulating but maybe I'm just doing it wrong?! Or maybe I ovulate later from the time I get the LH surge? That's possible isn't it?!

peardrop2 · 23/04/2015 16:57

Why do I keep accidentally looking at meternity clothes!!! Google ads are soooo clever ??

AvaAmulet · 23/04/2015 17:05

Don't get me wrong, I know it's hard and I would love at least another one more, but I'm counting my blessings Smile

Pear, I really don't know regarding your temps. It is possible to have a number of LH surges. Maybe a bbt will give us a better idea next month. Again, if indeed you need it Wink

MrsMoo3 · 23/04/2015 18:55

Hello ladies. Sorry for not posting in a while but had a family vomiting bug... Lovely!!! Anyway we're all better now and (drum roll please) AF has arrived!! Grin never thought I'd be glad but now at least I have something to go on. And won't have to worry about bring pregnant and missing it!

Talking about being broody my friend (who got BFP while BF) had her 20week scan... Only a little bit jealous Envy!

DH won't let me watch OBEM... How to get around that..?
