Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

I don't know, Pear Confused I'm just going by last month when I had a really strong half-line followed by a definite positive the following day. I've been waiting for the def positive for the last couple of days... I was expecting to ov tomorrow according to my app but I don't know what's happening now... Can't dtd tonite as we're out babysitting...

AvaAmulet · 18/04/2015 17:25

Thanks for the positive thoughts though, Pear, would be totally pants if I didn't ov at all this month after the triumph I felt last month... Hmm

peardrop2 · 18/04/2015 17:48

Ava - I know...it's totally frustrating Hmm Don't give up yet though. Still loads of time in our cycle to OV with a good LP too!

MrsMoo3 · 18/04/2015 19:08

Hope you're all enjoying your weekends. We tried to enjoy the sun but it's so windy DS was almost knocked off his feet!!

That's really interesting about natural spacing. It's amazing how our bodies work. I have a little while to wait but 3 years would be fine by me Grin. DH would be very happy as he was disappointed it only took 4months last time!

Hmmm trying to remember what I've just read on the previous pages... Mumof are you still feeling ok? That is super disciplined to last till Tuesday. Fingers crossed though!!

Ava I've never temped/opk'd so can't offer any advice. I think I've read that it's the temp that is key. Tricky if you're not getting a full nights sleep!

MrsMoo3 · 18/04/2015 19:12

Pear it's so difficult finding the balance between keeping motivated (especially with dtdBlush) and not getting hopes too high. Fingers crossed for a high/low soon (I really don't understand temps!)

auxiliaryauroch · 18/04/2015 19:48

Hi girls! Sorry I am scarce! Busy days! Hope you're all okay! :)

peardrop2 · 18/04/2015 20:03

Thanks MrsMoo Smile it's not temperature that I'm referring to though, it's my Clearblue ovulation sticks that are showing low Smile

Ava - I was just looking at my My days App and noticed that in February I started getting lines on my IC OPks 8 days before I got a high on my cbfm. How many days have you being seeing lines on your IC OPks?

Mumof1sofar · 18/04/2015 23:32

I just posted quite a long message but looks like it's not showing up..?

AvaAmulet · 19/04/2015 00:15

Pear, I had strong but thin, half-lines for 3 days followed by nothing, twice today Sad no wonder I've given up on opks once already on this journey - the clear blue digital and ic opks both make me so Confused

Aw that sucks, Mumo - it's happened to me a couple of times and I didn't have the energy to re-post Blush hope you're okay though?x

peardrop2 · 19/04/2015 07:09

Ava - when you say strong do you mean the same strength with both lines? Have you been Dtd? If you've been Dtd then it's OK, no?

peardrop2 · 19/04/2015 07:14

I think I know when I'm going to ovulate. The day of my MIL's birthday party when I really really will need a glass of Wine Wink??

Mumof1 - I've lost long posts too. Mega annoying isn't it Confused

Mumof1sofar · 19/04/2015 07:46

Just poas... Bfn... 11dpo... The test was a superdrug one & I realised it was 2 months out of date! Better buy some new tests!Blush

peardrop2 · 19/04/2015 09:07

Oh Mumof1! That's naughty!!! You didn't wait

peardrop2 · 19/04/2015 09:09

Is AF due tomorrow? Are you still feeling symptoms?

Mumof1sofar · 19/04/2015 09:11

Due on tues

AvaAmulet · 19/04/2015 09:18

Oh Mumo, yes buy some new tests Wink fx for u x

Pear, a small, thin section of the test line was darker, than the control line, but because this was followed by a test line that was as wide and darker than the control line last cycle that's what I was expecting this time Blush We dtd the day before, one of the days of, then the day after this 'positive' but that's all - would have dtd at least another twice if I'd ov'd later Confused

Right, my temperature has shot up today Shock so, looking back at my chart now it would appear that I may have ov'd when I had the skinny dark opk lines on cd 12/13 as my chart does look like I had a dip over those 2 days now. It's not as obvious a dip as last cycle, and my temps seem to be following a 'fall back rise' pattern, but I'm pleased that I probably did ov when I first thought/hoped I did. So I've increased my luteal phase by 2/3 days BUT as we only dtd eod 3 times, and I'm sure one if those times would have totally missed the egg, really it's only twice whilst fertile so I'm not holding out much hope Hmm

So now I guess I'm in the 2ww, and have been for a few days...well, so far this is the most relaxed 2ww I've experienced lol Blush x

Mumof1sofar · 19/04/2015 11:15

Glad it sounds like you ov'd, Ava Smile

Leamice · 19/04/2015 12:04

Ava, when you say half lines do you mean there is a darker line down the side? My opks have been dark but not positive for a while now but seem to have a darker line down the left of the test line if that makes sense? every day I keep thinking it will be positive but no!

Leamice · 19/04/2015 12:08

oh, i missed loads of messages between reading and posting Blush , DS was keeping me busy earlier lol. I see you did Ov Ava, sounds like you may have dtd enough to catch that egg. fingers crossed for you Smile

Sorry for BFN Mumo, 11dpo is early, hopefully will be a nice BFP for you on tuesday.

zoobaby · 19/04/2015 13:59

Sorry pear, didn't mean to lower your spirits. Keep on going!

Ava DS was only breastfeeding at bedtime when he was 2. He was very accepting when it was time to retire (I was pg and I suspect that breasts were dry).

Mumof1sofar · 19/04/2015 13:59

ThanksLea Smile fx you ov soon!

Duchess007 · 19/04/2015 18:19

I'm good thanks Mumo. Feel a bit in limbo as I'm not seeing the doctor for a couple of weeks yet to confirm the pregnancy and I have no symptoms yet either as I suspect it's still very early. Would be 8 weeks this week by LMP but am prob half that in reality due to late ovulation. Hopefully things will continue to progress well, am keeping my fingers crossed. DD is still bf before bed as usual so I haven't noticed a drop in supply just yet. Sorry about your bfn, but remember that I got one too when I tested early, so there is still hope! Good luck for Tuesday. Thanks

Thanks for everyone else's good wishes. Am still thinking of you all and hoping for lots of BFP's for everyone.

auxiliaryauroch · 19/04/2015 19:12

mumo yes 11dpo very early and out of date tests very bad! so good luck for Tuesday instead!
duchess most important part is that you are pregnant! Smile it's nice to think about having a bit of a surprise in terms of the dates when you do get to see the doctor eventually. For my first I knly found out at seven weeks and it was kind of nice to work things out retrospectively rather than know it to a T from befoehand.
