Congrats Cariad fx for everything!!!! Grin have a rubbishy shirt cycle too - normally 23 days so def gonna temp this cycle to see when I ovulate to see what my Luteal phase is like...just to check all is ticking over as it should Hmm

frogbubbles · 05/04/2015 14:45

Thank you for the warm welcome lovelies.

Cariad oh so lovely, really pleased for you. Fx everything is just perfect.

Just wondering with the b6 vitamin stuff, why do you need to take a b complex too or am I reading it wrong? Just curious as I started b6 this cycle.

Yokyil · 05/04/2015 14:46

*short cycle not shirt cycle!!! Confused bloody phone!

Rainy34 · 05/04/2015 14:57

cariad congratulations, so pleased for you!!

frogbubbles B6 works best when taken with the other B group vitamins as it absorbs better this way. Just 50 mg is usually enough to make positive changes, although if you don’t notice a difference in your luteal phase within two to three months, try increasing the dosage. 100-200 mg is usually recommended by care/health professionals (SHORT term), but.... You need to balance your/any intake of B6 with B12 - it's important to remember this. B6 can disguise a B12 deficiency/anemia, so make sure you are getting BOTH. B6 can cause (reversible) nerve damage if taken excessively, i am taking 100mg to try and lengthen my Luteal phase and stop pre af spotting

coffeenut · 05/04/2015 15:01

about to go to bed but had to have a quick skim and huge congrats cariad Flowers I have all my fingers crossed for you that it will go well this time. From what I've read and FWIW, a 'pregnant' on a clearblue digi at 11/12dpo is a really good sign. Sounds like it is a strong one.

nightandthelight · 05/04/2015 15:03

Whoop whoop Cariad! Such fantastic news :) wishing you a very healthy pregnancy with a very sticky bean!

nightandthelight · 05/04/2015 15:04

Welcome frog :)

Woolly84 · 05/04/2015 15:21

cariad congratulations!! Easter Smile you must be over the moon!! I can understand your caution, think positively though - as somebody else said a CB digi positive at 11dpo is a very good thing!! This has made me smile so thank you for coming back to share Easter Smile

dizzynorthern argh how confusing, I suppose you have to just wait it out and try and distract yourself!!

JemimaPuddleDuck2 · 05/04/2015 15:24

Thanks for the welcome.

Lovely to see an Easter Sunday BFP, congrats Cariad!

DaisyDuckSW15 · 05/04/2015 15:36

Congratulations cariad!
What a lovely Easter present!

DizzyMerry · 05/04/2015 15:44

Yayyy a bfp!!! Massive congrats cariad. Fx crossed for a sticky bean.

I'm just lurking whenever I get a chance as we have had DH's family round for lunch and some are still here. Will be going to my brothers later for tea and cake. I haven't eaten any choc today or yesterday but dessert will make up for that.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend

Hairstylisttoboris · 05/04/2015 16:43

caridad congrats! Fab that the digi picked up the hormones already! Fx for a sticky one!

There are health warnings about taking too much but b6 in the long term. I have short cycles too and am taking supplements but varying the dosage from 50-100mgs and if it doesn't work in a couple of months I'll speak to the doctor. If you start to get pins and needles etc stop taking it!

Illiria · 05/04/2015 18:59

tessiegirl - yes move is now permanent due to DH's new job from September.

Cariad - From everything I have heard about CB digital that is promising, they aren't known for being very sensitive.

auxiliaryauroch · 05/04/2015 19:13

Thanks tessie, laura. Tiniest speck of pink tonight. Still clinging vaguely to hope it is now ib rather than AF coming! Easter Sad
laura I am still breastfeeding and only got AF back in January after dropping most feeds, although we'd been trying again since October. I think the bf is messing with my lp. I've had four and five dAys LPs since AF came back. Am trying b6 without any luck and will do soy isoflavones from Tuesday if AF does come tonight in a bid to bring ovulation down from cd25. Doctor's advice last month was to stop breastfeeding completely! Easter Sad
Miserable tonight.
