Lucie, have everything crossed that this works for you. We're doing two more cycles before going down the IVF route, nerve wracking but exciting!!

Thank you for all your lovely messages ladies, and for all the support over the past 9 months. I don't know where I would be without you. I may lurk for a bit, (even if I don't post) assuming you don't mind, as I'm super keen to cheer on those April BFPs. I'm also mindful that if this pregnancy is anything like my previous ones, I will be firmly back on this bus before the month is out.

Trixie - sorry to hear AF arrived today. Sending you some Wine and Flowers. You will get your BFP soon, I'm sure of it.

Lucie - that is super exciting. Wishing you all the best on your trip to the Czech Republic. I really hope it brings you your long awaited BFP. Do keep us posted.

Trixie, sorry af arrived for youThanks I'm ok thanks 8/9 dpo and nothing exciting to report. Couldn't take my temp this morning as dp woke me at 5am when he came home from work. I got up and went for a wee and didn't realise what the time was until I went back to bed! Thought it was about 2am!

Thanks Spinning Easter Grin. Stats are as follows:

Cycle 5, post-ectopic, cycle 10 in total.
Ov'd either cd13 (my Birthday) or cd14.
Used the advanced CBFM to pinpoint ov.
Dtd CD 11, 13, 14 and 15.
If anything, timing wise the big difference this month was that we started and finished later.

Vitamin wise, I took: Sevenseas Trying for a Baby, Omega 3 Fish Oil, Royal Jelly and CoEnzyme q-10.
I also tried to cut down on caffeine (not entirely successfully), but attempted to limit myself to a max of 1 flat white/ 2 green teas a day post ov.

Usually I have quite a bit of cm but I didn't this month. I'm blaming the lemsip I took for a horrible cold from CD 8-10. I tried to counteract this by taking Benilyn with Guaifenesin until ov, although I was still drier than normal so I'm unsure how well this worked. We also used preseed.

Thanks spinning, trixie and cariad! I shall keep you posted. I have my first injection to administer on Tuesday which should be interesting.

I hope you get a bfp on one of your next 2 tries trixie but if not this ivf malarkey is not too bad once you have got your head around the fact you are doing it. I have found the waiting for it the worst!

Cariad, please can you also tell me if you felt ovulation pain this cycle and if so which side? I am so intrigued to know whether our functioning tube is capable of picking up an egg from the opposite side.

Ah ok, thank you for that rainy & Boris according to FF my LP averages 12/13 days so I think that's ok. But I have heavy spotting after DTD and had read somewhere the b6 could help so giving it a whirl for a month, until I see doc.

cariad!!! Congratulations! I really, really hope this one sticks for you and everything goes smoothly! So pleased for you Grin

CoQ10 - help - I have been giving them to DH! Am I doing this wrong, should I be taking them?! Or both of us?!

Regarding B-complex, I took 50mg a day for one cycle and it lengthened my Lp by one day. So I got excited and upped it to 100mg a day and got a bfp. It's Holland and Barrett Mega B50 Complex. I don't work for them either Easter Wink

In answer to your questions Purdie, I thought I had ov pain on my tube-less, right hand side. If I get as far as having a 5 week scan, I will definitely ask them which side I ov'd from and report back. You might know this already, but I'm fairly sure someone else on here (who only had one functioning tube) was told by her consultant that if you only have one tube you should definitely try and dtd the day after ov - something about the tube taking longer to reach the egg in the event that you ov from the opposite site which means that typically conception occurs later so you want to make sure the sperm are as fresh as possible.

I've been taking 400mg a day of co-enzyme q10.

illiria - california, how exciting! DH has spoken about moving to cali from time to time (he’s in finance but would love to move into IT). Very long way from where we are now though!
