woolly I use ics and temping to track ov. It's pretty reliable for me ad CD14. I just need my LP to be longer. I have been reading that you can be prescribed clomid to bring ov earlier. Then my LP would possibly be a bit longer. CD12 would be ideal. Going to ask consultant when I go in a couple of weeks.

laura hope the discomfort gets better, sounds like it's linked to ovulation so a good sign! I never get pains around ovulation time but have noticed feeling exhausted for a few hours on suspected ovulation days the past few months.

Hi everyone, just checking in to say happy Easter, hope everyone is having a lovely long weekend. I got up early to do an Easter egg hunt for DH, can't wait until we have little ones!!

Have been having mild AF type cramping this morning and based on last 2 cycles she is due this evening so will check in again then. On the plus side have been pretty much PMT free, must be a good sign that the revamped diet has done something at least! Off out for Sunday lunch with DH now.
Any news from those due at the beginning of the month?

Massive massive massive temp drop today 6dpo. Very pissed off but hoping it is not another 5day lp and somehow just a weird reading or early really dramatic implantation dip but sshhh we don't believe in those right?. Feeling a bit miserable about it though and checking my pants every five minutes for signs of AF.

miss I'll be taking soy isos this cycle if indeed today marks the end of my supershort lp again (only ovulated cd25 again too)! Works like clomid although not as good obviously and you're not monitored for health or effects like you would with clomid by your doctor but you just buy it at the pharmacy. Just in case you didn't know.

i have another chance to join the April bus AF came on Thursday, upped my dosage of Evening primrose oil and i have had my first 28 day cycle since being off the pill and i have had one day of spotting that kicked in at 10dpo which is a record,

I think I ovulated.Yay!! My temp was .45°c higher this morning than it was Thursday morning I slept in Friday morning & fell back to sleep with the thermometer in my mouth yesterday morning . I am not proper temping, but I am going to start back doing so, as I feel it guides me more about what is going on with my body! I will have to see if my temp continues to rise eeek! Fx

I wonder if the B vitamins threw my cycle out? I have never ovulated this late in my cycle

Night I know I have a lp defect as well ! It totally sucks & it means that I tend to menstruate more often. How long is your lp?

No idea Laura I don't track anything! purdey is basing it on the fact that my normal cycle range is 23-28 days (last month was 24 days with 2 days of spotting beforehand.

How are you fixing it?

Night You have to first find out when you ovulate...maybe you just ovulate earlier in your cycle & your lp might actually be fine. I think it is a good idea for you to start temping, as it will indicate when you ovulate. I have never been able to fix it really . I have had 2 chemical pregnancies that I am aware of. I know it is because I am conceiving, but my little bean doesn't have enough time to implant successfully. I start bleeding on either 9dpo, or I am lucky 10 dpo. That gives me a lp of 8/9 days. I am waiting to see the fertility doc, as I have tried agnus cactus, accupuncture, Reiki, vitamin b6 & none of them have worked. I need progesterone & only the fertility doc can help me.

laurasdream i took 2000mg until i ovulated, before that i was only taking 500mg, i spoke to the lady in holland and barrett and she said the recommended daily allowance was 2000mg and what i was taking was no where near enough, i have also noticed that this month my mood has been good which is not the normal either so I'm hoping its going to help me in the long term

laurasdream i just read your post that you are taking vitamin b6, are you taking that along with a b complex , if you are not then you really need to take a b complex with it too, i am taking holland and barrett busy bee slow release vitamin b complex 100 mg, i promise i dont work for holland and barrett lol i am taking these to stop my spotting before my period is due as i think my progesterone is lowering after ovulation,

I know I haven't been on here that much lately, that it's still ridiculously early (11/12dpo), that I've been here twice before and it hasn't worked out, but I thought it would be wrong of me not to tell you that I got a BFP on a CB Digi this afternoon.

I'm delighted (that I can still get upduffed with just one Fallopian tube) and petrified (of it all going wrong again) in equal measures. If I get that far, I should have an early scan at around 5 weeks to check that the bean has implanted in the right place. I doubt I'll start believing it's real until then.

night I replied to you about temping on t'other thread but I agree with laura, you should temp for at least one cycle or so to figure out what's going on.....this is what I'm doing so I can establish a pattern what with my steady temps, then I can identify any problems before I ship myself off to the gp. Temping will either highlight an issue or put your mind at rest if all appears to be fine.....ie you ov early and LP looks to be a normal length.

laura yay for ov! I think other people have mentioned b vits changing their cycles? But if you're taking them for your LP then surely this is a positive sign?

woolly no AF yet, thanks for asking. I'm now cd31 and AF isn't due until cd33 at the earliest. I do usually see 2 days of spotting first so this might have been what I saw yesterday. But, my temps are now almost 0.2 higher than what they were on cd27, so there might be a chance I've ov'd late (and tough bloody shit if I did because we hadn't dtd for a week at that point). So.....if I did ov then, I won't get AF until cd40, so I'm very much stuck in limbo! However, what with me working night shifts there's a chance the high temps might be a red herring because they've been taken mid afternoon after a broken sleep....chart is full of empty circles and ff is refusing to give me a red line! Arghhhhhhhh!
