missmrs I think I ovulate around CD12, I don't temp, but CB sticks have consistently given me a peak smiley on CD11 last few months. How do you track it? Hope it's around your usual time and not delayed so you can crack on!! I find myself really impatient at this stage of my cycle!

yokyil I love your plan for the day! We've got friends over in a bit so had to clean! Hoping for trash TV time later though...

I know dizzy was on a course of antibiotics for a week too--not a good month all round!! Seems to be the ibuprofen only in high doses can affect the release of the egg

Yokyil - a quick look on google and looks like it's possibly okay to take a couple during menstruation but don't take it afterwards (also don't take too much as it builds up). Better to just stick to paracetamol if you can manage it I guess as not good for pregnancy anyway.

Off to the inlaws for sunday lunch tomorrow, they are driving me nutballs already (it's not the AF grumps, I swear ). Also on holiday with them for a few days next week so must behave. Will need fortification - luckily still on AF so can justify a glass or two of wine still.

So far I have made banana and prune muffins, chocolate brownies with boozy prunes (lots of cut price dried fruit in Sainsbury's) and MrVan has made treacle loaf and jam tarts. I bloody love our new cooker

That's pants yokyll! I'm blaming the sudafed for my lack of ovulation this month although I couldn't find anything that suggests that it does this!

You say high doses? More than the standard 2 tablets every 4 hours? I don't like taking ibuprofen if I can help it as it gives me insomnia and night sweats. DP can't have it because of his asthma so we've rarely got any in the house anyway.

Good news everyone! I thought an anovulatory cycle meant that AF would be really really late. Have just been to the loo and saw a tiny streak of blood amongst some creamy cm! so hopefully she's not far away! Cd30 here so it would usually be here in the next few days. Onwards and upwards, can put this cycle behind me and see what next month holds!!

Oh no I mean like higher mg wise - like neurofen are normally 200mg each ... There's brufen tablets at 1000mg etc so I'm guessing that!! Fingers crossed AF doesn't leave you hanging too long dizzy - we're in the same boat, pick ourselves up and start again next week

Today is 11DPO / CD32. Last month my cycle was 32 days. Did a HPT this morning and it was negative, but my temp is still higher than it was last month prior to AF's visit... so still on the bus!

I was painfully bloated yesterday and I felt emotional plus I swear right before bed I saw the mildest tinge of pink so was sure AF was going to arrive overnight (normally I see that before bed and in the morning full AF) but nothing yet. Bloated again today but not quite as painful and I'm burping (which also happened last cycle, the burping that is). I've got tablets to deal with it and hopefully the reason yesterday got so bad is because I didn't take them in time.

Iliria Sore boobs are really painful..I bought a maternity bra for use during the 2WW, as I am a 34E & sometimes my boobs get so big & sore I feel like they are going to explode! The maternity bra is way more comfortable when this happens. I also put some cold cabbage leaves even lettuce leaves when I had no cabbage in my bra when they are really sore to help soothe them.

Dizzy If your temps are rising that may indicate that you did ovulate...I usually get a .4°C rise after when I ovulate x Fx I would still DTD just in case! Who knows for sure what happens inside us! I feel ov. is on the way, as I woke with a sharp pain & pinching feeling on my left side. I was so wrecked that I feel back to sleep with the thermometer in my mouth!! Does this happen to anyone else! ! I hope you find out whats going on with your cycle, as not knowing is annoying x

Woolly My eye is better again! Thankfully as I love wearing make-up ! I really missed my mascara haha x

Yokyil I had to take ponstan forte for period pain, heavy bleeding, & long AF . It never did anything to my ovulation. I don't take ibuprofen, as I have asthma, so I don't know anything about it.

Southy84 I feel the same...there are new babies & baby bumps everywhere & I sometimes feel why not me...however, I try to keep positive & say it will be me! We are allowed feel sorry for ourselves every so often.. x I used to use the Glow app., but I have stopped temping except just before & after ovulation so I just make a note on the calender I have on my phone.

Mumof1 I remember well that feeling, even though my son is 12 years old! x I am also waiting to ovulate, so I know how you feel x I have only ever used ovulation test Strips & I have never used the Clearblue LH test, so I can't give advice about them x Keep DTD you'd never know x

Does anyone else get bowel discomfort when they ovulate? I am cd20 .. typo last night & my bowel feels really uncomfortable combined with a pinching feeling in my sides that is going from left to right, and then back to left! I also have a feeling of fullness along my pubic bone. Fx it is ovulation & my temps goes up in the morning! I wonder how this will affect my lp!
