Rainy go and try them next week

Purdey lots of milk and capol. It's so hard when small people are ill

It's DH part time hobby. We are both boring IT feels for work for money! The indoor competitions are in a wind tunnel. It's like synchronised swimming in the sky! 4 people in his team.

I met him on a ski lift so we have always been doing adventurous sports! He nearly missed the birth of DS due to the world championships! I had him on the Friday night and he flew to the world champs on the Monday! That's why I do believe in the getting on with life, as it took so long to have him Iwe booked ourselves into loads of stuff then I fell pregnant and we had to work round it all! I bought a sports car and everything to try and get away from thinking about it! DH said IVF would have been cheaper

spinningirl10 · 03/04/2015 20:10

Oyster, typical man. Pleased you're on your way, have a safe trip. Super impressed with all your veggies growing. Will someone look after them while your on your honeymoon?

Pikz, wow a sky diver, do you go and watch him sometimes? Very exciting Smile

Purdey, aww poor Nancy, maybe she missed you last night. I hope she has a good sleep and is back to her normal bouncy self tomorrow. How are things with you and dh?

Butterchunks, I don't know anything about depression but it sounds like you've had a really difficult time. I'm sure you'll make a brilliant Mum as you're very aware of what's going on and would recognise any signs. Sending a hug to you.
Ooh and ds and I made a cake, will post pic from Google after thisSmile

Ahh Purdey, I read your other post, good to hear you've made up casserole sounds yummy. Enjoy your evening.

Yes Rainy, try them again next week.

spinningirl10 · 03/04/2015 20:12

Alfie and I made this chocolate Easter cake and Alfie decorated it. We've just watched Paddington and he laughed all the way through, so lovelySmile

Spinning Wow that cakes looks really good, i want a piece!!!

auxiliaryauroch · 03/04/2015 20:21

tessie I don't know masses about it but it worries me a bit tbh. Prog cream can be massively powerful and it feels odd that you can rub a peasized amount into your wrist or something and suddenly you get AF or grow hairs on your earlobes or your nipples turn rosy or something. Am less nervous about "natural" alternative like soy etc rather than medical stuff which should usually or at least in the first instance be prescribed. Easter Confused

auxiliaryauroch · 03/04/2015 20:22

Btw this is a heads up on a name change. I feel it is time again. New month new hope for a bfp. Easter Grin

DizzyMerry · 03/04/2015 20:24

Wow spinning that is one amazing cake. Sounds like you and Alfie have both had a good time. These moments are so precious and lovely. He sounds adorable.

Butterchunks you have had a really difficult time and have come through it. Your strength is amazing and you are so lovely to share all that on here.

Purdey I hope Nancy is back to her self soon and pleased that you and DH have made up, I knew you would though

Pikz you and your DH are definitely adventurous. A sky diver?! That is awesome

I haven't seen Cymonsarah on here for a while. Also wish wotsits would come back.

We're off for dinner now. It was delayed by an hour and half and I'm now starving! Will catch up with you all later

Enjoy the cake spinning I'm so jealous

spinningirl10 · 03/04/2015 20:28

Oh bugger!!!!! Didn't mean to put ds's name on here!! OoopsBlush

spinningirl10 · 03/04/2015 20:30

Thanks Rainy and Merry, enjoy your dinner Merry, just as well you ate that Easter egg with dinner this late!Grin

spinningirl10 · 03/04/2015 20:32

Masterchef, anyone watching?

tessiegirl · 03/04/2015 20:54

Ah, don't worry ladies, I have been well and truly put off trying progesterone cream after what you have said!! Confused I would have looked more into it before I tried it but thank you so much for your warnings Smile

Spinning that cake looks so yummy, lovely that you and ds made it together

As we don't come back to UK until next weekend I have to wait for my easter eggs Sad Will just have to make do with banana loaf...

Purdey pleased you and dh made up and hope you have a lovely evening together. Hope Nancy sleeps soundly Smile We are planning on having the first bbq of the year with friends on sunday - although the weather forecast tonight have predicted snow!!! What?!!! Might be cooking inside Wink

Sorry to hear things have been tough for you Butter As I have said on here before I have a history of anxiety and have been on and off antidepressants since I was 18. Been off them (again) since last October and still feeling ok at the moment (fx) but am terrified of having that same bad cloud hanging over me again. Really hope you can change GP's and get referrals easily Flowers

Nomio230 · 03/04/2015 21:04

Spinning, that looks lovely, Can you send me a slice?

Purds, I am really pleased you have made up with DH. I hope little miss Nancy is ok during the night.

Butter, I am so sorry to hear of your struggles. I have also suffered with depression since I was a teenager. I completely understand your worries, and have had the same thoughts about myself, but if you let your illness stop you doing what you want, then it has beaten you.

From what I have learnt of you you will be a brilliant mum. Stay strong, and know that we are all here for you. Flowers

eskimolaura · 03/04/2015 21:21

spinning what an amazing looking cake.

DH is watching the Eurovision programme. I put the singalong version on and he is currently singing along to Dana International. It's quite hilarious.

aux, what's that you say? Rub it into your wrist and AF appears?

victoria401 · 03/04/2015 21:25

I too have suffered from depression and anxiety since my teens butter. I used to hide my issues but now I'm more open about my past so people can understand me better. I was on antidepressents on and off from 18 until 25ish and self harmed from 15 to 25. What happened then? I met dh and he helped a lot to defeat it. I can't really describe his 'ways'! I still get bouts of 'low mood' now but I found coping mechanisms. Went on a mumbo jumbo mood management group therapy course a few years back. Was an eye opener. I also have reflexology once a month to balance my moods.

Hi to everyone else. Sorry but after writing that I've forgotten what else has happened today! X

purdeypie · 03/04/2015 22:23

So many of us have suffered MH stuff. It shouldn't be surprising, really considering the pressures we are under and the expectations we have of ourselves. Tessie, Vic & Nomio, thanks you so much for sharing what you've been through.

Th'usband has just retired to bed. 'What? Now?' I squealed when he headed for the door. 'Yeah. I'm absolutely shagged'. I chortled under my breath. He heard it. 'Purdey, I must've had, like, two hours sleep last night. You don't know what it was like!' Hmm

purdeypie · 03/04/2015 22:31

Spinning, I am agog at your cake. What a spectacle that is! Yummy Smile

Nomio230 · 03/04/2015 22:43

It is very quiet again tonight. Easter Sad

I think it might be time to start on the Easter eggs.

purdeypie · 03/04/2015 22:59

I'm here! I'm refusing to eat Easter Eggs. I find Easter-time chocolate rather boring. Probably because it's allowed. Choccie is far more tasty the rest of the year when you're not allowed to eat it.

Right. I have finally caught up on 634 Corries and Faye is about to give berf.....! Shock

purdeypie · 03/04/2015 23:10

Eskimo so glad you are feeling brighter today!

Abi hang in there lovely, our bodies love playing tricks on us. Very frustrating. Hope you are out of limbo soon Flowers

Creme waiting is awful. Keep strong Flowers so sorry you feel so lovely. I know the desperation of wanting to conceive so much after mc. But it will happen lovely, it's just a matter of time.. frogbubbles · 04/04/2015 01:12

I think twunt, blender, what the fudge and cuntard may have made it to the best words/sayings of 2015!!

Spinning pillows are definitely a more ladylike approach to USDC. Smile

Butter been working on a pram blanket, I bought some wool from pound land 3 balls for £2 to see how it feels and what's nits like to work with. Ok for what I'm doing. Amazing what you can get accomplished when work doesn't get in the way!! Watched all season one of Kimmy Shim. Plus nearly finished the blanket I only have the edging left to do.

Sparkly123 · 04/04/2015 01:12
