I'm with MaMaPo, except I think it's absurd to stay on a TTC bus when you're pregnant in any capacity other than a lurker. If you have a child already - or are only, like, three months into TTC - it's easy to say you would like differs to stick around. If, however, your journey is becoming long and arduous, and everyone around you in RL is seemingly falling pregnant and rubbing their bumps and chatting pregnancy shit, it is horrid. TTCers need a safe place to talk about trying to get pregnant. There are grad threads for pregnant folk who really do not belong on a TTC thread. We will be able to contact you all over there, because we really do love you. No-one wants to lose the laughter and generosity people like Giddy and Pug have brought to the buses, but it will be increasingly tough for both them and us to not talk about their pregnancies
Whoever put their bump photo up on the April bus is an insensitive twat.
Almost as insensitive are those strangers who come on here to say: 'Guess what? I'm due to test tomorrow! Don't know any of you; don't give a flying fuck about you neither, but wanted to join a bus because I know full well I'll be preggo tomorrow when I test and I need somewhere to crow about it!' The only support these women have ever known is the kind they wear on a long-haul flight. To them I say: do fuck off, dear.
Eskimo and Sparkly, much love for today
