Will spend some serious time catching up tomorrow, had a great day playing with DS, extracting a dinosaur fossil, making a skeleton model, went to a car boot and bought some crap - including an inflatable basketball hoop (2.5 metres tis huuge!) lots of fun and it was sunny!!!

Hope you're all ok. I hope there have been more BFPs so congrats to them and sorry to anyone with af.

Only 4dpo here so not much to say except I don't feel I'm pregnant this month so had a coffee today. I will do a better more personal catch up tomorrow. Off to watch greys anatomy then early bed as DP is working his 7th day in a row tomorrow and is tired.

spinningirl10 · 21/03/2015 21:10

Cymon, I'm so sorry that AF arrived. I hope that processco went down nicely (totally jealous!!) let me know what you thought of interstellar something we said we would watch and never got round to it.

Eskimo I LOVE the book thief book made me cry so much, I haven't seen the film yet, let me know if it's worth a watch.

We've had a pretty quiet night curry and Dexter finale watched all 8 seasons in just under three weeks, my life is going to be so empty without that little ginger serial killer filling my evenings. Any Netflix recs welcome.

Off to bed soon, not feeling so great think I'm coming down with the lurgy, having some major hot flushes and generally run down it's been a busy week.

PurdeyPie · 21/03/2015 22:55

Ahhhh...wild flowers Smile I wish I had become a landscaper or summat to do with flowers and plants and trees. There is nothing that makes my heart sing more than these things. Except Nancy.

MrsB, the film has just finished and I am still melancholy. That poor, poor man. Can you believe they tried chemical castration? And that he killed himself? I can't bear those endings. And what good is a posthumous pardon from t'Queen? Horse shit Sad

Mummy, what a smashing day that sounds. Absolutely wizard! Where did you extract a dinosaur fossil from? DH's gum? Pa ha!

Spinning, nope, by the time I got to the opticians the baby had broken the other arm causing an splinter of the plastic frame to fly off out of the pram and into the road. Yes, I was letting her play with my already-damaged gigs. This is why I don't have a job; I can't be trusted to execute common sense Hmm

Butter, I honestly believe you didn't ovulate that month, which is nothing to be alarmed about. The LH surges show summat tried to happen but those temps tell a certain tale of anovulation, in my opinion. Don't worry, Sugartits, let's see how this cycle pans out. Did th'usband butter your pants yet?
Thank you for poverty empathy. The optician was lovely, actually, and when he saw me gesticulating dolefully at DH through the window and miming 'Seventeeee powwwwwnd!' he said, 'Aw, how old is your baby? About one, yes? We have a one year-old and we are soooo skint. Babies are expensive, aren't they?' I looked at him as though he was Darren Brown and ran out. How did he know? How did he know we were socio-economically deprived? Was it my Sainsbo's jeggings and Matalan trench mac in beige that I thought was a nifty imitation of Hobbs' version? Sad

Giddymamma · 21/03/2015 23:03

Aw purds. You're so lovely. I'm sorry you're having a tough time. I saw a photo of your plants from last year on your Facebook page. They were stunning, you have a(nother) talent. Just you wait till you get your foot in that door at the council. Then get yourself in charge of setting up community garden projects all round Lancashire. The future is bright for you lovely lady. Xxx

Giddymamma · 21/03/2015 23:09

Cymon, rubbish news. Next month. X

Loving all the doggies today. Oh is desperate for one, I've never had one and think it sounds like a lot of work! Anyone care to talk me around?! In the interest of full disclosure, he wants a Newfoundland! Fricking massive! And droolly!

ThePug · 21/03/2015 23:10

Argh - my Dad is visiting for the weekend and has spent the evening sat on the sofa next to me snoring so haven't been able to get on here surreptitiously. Will check back tomorrow in case I've missed anything but eskimo I hope your boy is home and not feeling too sorry for himself and purdey from the few pics I've seen of you on fb I actually think you look very well groomed & stylish (even your specs!)

Here's my chart with today's weird temp. The open circles yesterday and Wed were taken at 7.45 am whereas the others are all either 8.10 or 8.15am, so must only just be outside FFs 30min margin. Any thoughts?

The March Bus continues.....will the Eclipse bring us more bfp's!
ThePug · 21/03/2015 23:11

Oh and babs - bunnylove!

PurdeyPie · 21/03/2015 23:21

Butter, have you been on the sauce? You've posted that link twice now..and may I say it is now stored under 'favourites' on my computer. That's how much you have changed my life (I only have 'How To Overwinter Dahlia Tubers' in my favourites, plus some recipes and a website for buying Viagra. Oh..and Taylor Swift's Shake It Off on youtube Hmm).

It is lovely to me when someone says I am useful on here. I do care a lot about folks very quickly and hope feverishly for bfp's for everyone. It is such a crushing road to travel if your journey is taking forever and I just wish I could be of practical help to people. I am great at hugs and hair strokes. Oh, and Brews. I do talk too much, though. And largely about shite.

...'that little ginger serial killer' Grin Listen, Frog, I hate to be one of 'those' women who smugly tells you to do all the things now that you can't do with a baby, but, seriously - watch everything on Netflix you can get your hands on. When your baby comes you will Never Watch Telly Again. Not for the over-2's anyway Sad

Sparkly123 · 21/03/2015 23:31

Purds glasses sorted?? Gardening? Jealous! We have a lovely garden but I struggle to do it.. I'm the creative one and love nothing more than planting but just don't have the energy reserve for it must of time. Digging ain't easy for someone with a resting heart rate over 100! Ha. I do love it. My clematis is looking liking it's starting up at the mo too. I'm a hydragena gal. Love them. Oh and thanks for nephew info. To say in floored is an understatement! But they both had a great day crafting and building dens etc etc!

Cakes!!! Love the cake chat. The new carrot cake sounds mouthwatering!!!

cymon hope you are ok sorry again for AF lovely. Flowers you sound like you are having a nice night though and your dh sounds so great!!!

Mrsb yes smep let's go!!

You ladies ie night with all your post birth plans! Super organised!! I haven't allowed myself to go past the actual conception part yet in my head! Ha. night don't you work in hosp daily? Why so concerned about having to stay?

Spinurita hot water and lemon love! Do you start the day with that? You know about adding fresh turmeric right? Currently sipping fresh ginger tea with lemon.. Rock and roll sat night!!

PurdeyPie · 21/03/2015 23:32

Giddymama..and you have a gift for making my heart soar with possibilities and dreams of happiness. Thank you. I love you. You know that, right? xxxxx

Pug, you're another 'un who has this knack of making me feel like Cindy Crawford on a really good day. Like after she's had her hairy mole airbrushed. Thank you xxxxx I think you ov'd on CD18 and that today (4DPO) you've had a bonkers fallback rise. How long have you been charting? Why don't FF take any notice of your 'peak fertility' ferning signs? Or your OPKs? As far as I can see they have simply pinpointed ov where you had the most fertile cm, the cerebrally-challenged dicks. Any road...no fear, you have fornicated most fortuitously and are going to be preggers any time now. I keep feeling it in me waters about you, Pugster

frogbubbles · 21/03/2015 23:33

Ha ha purdey I totally intend on making the most of my Netflix account. I recall those days when my day revolved around the 10.45am showing of teletubbies and tweenies on BBC2 DS has just turned 14 :)

Sparkly123 · 21/03/2015 23:38

mummyofone your day sounds great! I love a car boot buy.. The basketball net sounds hilarious! Greys!!!! Obsessed!! Which series you on???

buttery hope your pants are suitably moist taken care of now Wink you are a wealth of knowledge on the optics! I know Purds will appreciate all the info! Flowers

Giddymamma · 21/03/2015 23:38

Ah purdita, you've lived seven hundred lives in one already, you must know you have a few more to get through yet?! :) xxx

pinningwobble · 21/03/2015 23:40

Just wanted to say what a great thread, you ladies have made my evening x

eskimolaura · 21/03/2015 23:44

Oh Gosh Purds I think I need one of your hugs right now. The film has just finished and it's as tear-jerking as the book. It was well worth a watch though frog. It was beautiful. I haven't got Netflix, but I'm assuming you've watched Breaking Bad? I've heard that Better Call Saul is a worthy spin-off but not seen it yet. And The Walking Dead is my all-time favourite.

Pug Thank you for your well wishes for my lad. He is home :) He currently has a sofa to himself and is sporting a rather fetching cow-print bandage that has had to be loosened by me. It looked like it was cutting off his circulation Hmm

Giddy I am a total dog lover, and I would very much recommend a canine companion. But then I've owned dogs ever since I bought a puppy for £2.50 from a crazy man at a car boot sale (who sells puppies to teenagers?!!) and told my parents that I had found her in a ditch... so my opinion is not a neutral, rational point of view! Grin

Sparkly123 · 21/03/2015 23:51

Purds listen to this. My 5 year old nephew today who does not frequent church at all...

Me: "yes well I don't need a baby seat I don't have a baby yet"

Child under 6: " yet? So that means you will have one??"

Me: " yes hopefully one day"

Child under 6 : " some day? Why not now?"

Me: " well we just don't know when it will happen"

Child under 6: " oh. So you DO want a baby?"

Me: " of course I would like a baby yes"

Child under 6: " oh. So is it uncle sparkly that doesn't want one ?"

Me: " no uncle sparkly wants one too "

Child under 6: " oh. So is it because you are too old??"

Me: " pah! Im not too old thank you very much!!"

Child under 6: " oh.. So why don't you have a baby??"

Me: " these things don't always happen right away you see, you need to be patient, it takes a little time"

Child under 6: " oh. Well have you thought about asking god for a baby?"

Me : (heart melting almost a tear in the eye!!) " well, I could do that, you are right..."

Child under 6: " I think you should ask god for a baby, yeh. Yeh. Yeh! Ask God for a baby"

Me: " ok, I'll do that. Good idea. "

Child under 6: " oh but wait.. How does the baby get in there?? "

Me : utter panic Sheer panic

" well ... God pops them in there of course..." Wink

Sparkly123 · 21/03/2015 23:53

Welcome pinning sorry I must havd missed you joining!! Flowers

frogbubbles · 21/03/2015 23:56

Sounds promising Eskimo, will have to buy that now. Yes watched breaking bad and currently on with better call Saul. DS (he's 14) loves walking dead and occasionally he will grace me with his presence and watch a episode or two with me Smile

Butterchunks · 22/03/2015 01:59

Dp has asked that I inform y'all that he has fully buttered my pants. We are now deciding between walking dead, twin peaks or Malcolm in the middle to watch whilst I absorb his man juice (that's how babies are made, right?)

night night every body Smile

mummyofonesofar · 22/03/2015 06:25
