Is there anything left on the side you could attach a bit of elastic to to temporarily strap them round your head?! Or just superglue the arm back on so although you won't be able to fold them up you could still wear them?

Yes, yes..thank you for the DIY fix-your-own-gigs tip. I don't want to look like Jack Duckworh, do I? It was bad enough looking like Deirdre Barlow with those despicable specs that I 'bought' with my NHS voucher given out like free dinners to the lesser-fortunates. I had to have the cheapest frames and the least effective vari-focul option on the lenses. I love being poor, me.

PurdeyPie the time for tears is over...been there, done that...i'm at that stage now where i'm prepared for the worst, but hoping for the best...i've imagined my ideal nursery, i've imagined the fun filled camping holidays and the little excited faces on christmas morning...that's what i hold onto and that's what will get me thru...with a little kindred support from lovely ladies such as yourself of course...

purdey yep we've done the marriage course and have a commitment to re do it every 5 years. Preventative treatment, keeps us communicating and working through issues.
