DizzyNorthernBird · 11/03/2015 12:06

Thanks purple, interesting site, will have a proper read this afternoon.

Lol welcome fellow dizzy, good luck on your ttc journey Smile

DisneyMillie · 11/03/2015 12:17

giddy it's so rubbish how many things you can't take when you're pregnant or ttc isn't it! I'm pretty sure they should do a pregnancy test at the door of Boots before they're allowed to let you in since everything they sell seems to be bad for bubbas in some way!

I'm pretty sure I'm out this month - have such bad PMT - randomly got super upset with OH last night just because he hadn't thought about mothers day yet. Plus sore boobs and bad skin - classic signs of impending AF for me (due Sat). Sad

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 12:18

Thanks for the welcome ladies. You can call me merry kissing as I wouldn't want to cause you any confusion. I acquired the name at a very young age by my brother for very apt reasons. I was very hyperactive and light spirited. I'm still the same now despite my age and even more so since having DD and she is just the same Blush. I'm still known by this nickname

Sparkly123 · 11/03/2015 12:20

Anyway, hopefully things will improve now Smile

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 12:25

Oh disney fx crossed for you. I have the same feeling too as I'm getting pre AF cramps but I'm trying to be positive. I've been plodding along for a year now but it's seriously starting to get to me and more so because I've just right now been told that a causing is expecting her 5th child. 5th!!! I can't even think straight now. I know I sound selfish and some ladies are ttc #1 but she honestly is pregnant every year. It's just not fair Sad
I am happy for her but equally sad for myself. DH is 40 so time is not on our side either

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 12:27

sparkly just read about your mum. Hope she is on the mend. Take cafe of yourself as well and try to get some rest if at all possible Flowers

tessiegirl · 11/03/2015 12:27

Welcome DizzyMerry!

Oh Sparkly so sorry to hear your mum isn't well. Really hope she feels better soon

So, just taken the cat for a walk in the garden....yes, she has a lead...and yes, I do get strange looks from the nationals... Wink

DisneyMillie · 11/03/2015 12:33

Merry most of my friends husbands were around 40 when ttc - all have little ones now so I don't think it's that old for a man - you'll get there. FX the cramps are of the baby implanting variety. When are you due / POAS?

nightandthelight · 11/03/2015 12:33

Thanks Sparkly it is a brilliant distraction, have barely thought about ttc all day! Hope your mum is ok? Flowers

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 12:35

On 13th dosney Oh god just realised it'll be Friday the 13th Sad

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 12:37

Sorry spelt your name wrong disney Blush

Sparkly123 · 11/03/2015 12:39

Thanks Tessie your cat has a lead? Is that normal behaviour..??? ShockWink

Merry thank you. I'm sorry you feel so frustrated I understand it must be so hard to try for so long. Are you having any tests done?

night good that's exactly what you need!! Oh I hope she will be. She's not been keeping well a few years now which is hard as I try to do all I can but it's difficult when I'm unwell myself. I just wish the doctors would get to the bottom of all her problems. Anyway! New house new house! Woooo!! Grin it's pelting down here today.. Horrible! I want some sun!

Disney I'm so sorry I seem to have missed you. Welcome! When did you join? Hope you are ok Grin when I got a BFP in January I was convinced AF was coming and had all the usual PMS symptoms so stay positive! Not over till it's over!

Sparkly123 · 11/03/2015 12:40

nightandthelight · 11/03/2015 12:42

tessiegirl · 11/03/2015 12:49

Haha!! Sparkly she is an indoor cat whilst we are living here - on the advice of the vet! There are so many stray cats with diseases we obviously wouldn't want her to catch, plus the problem of the stray dogs eating the cats. So, for now we are keeping our fur baby safe and take her out for walks round the garden!!!

Sparkly123 · 11/03/2015 12:54

Tessie I really need to find a way to drum into my head that you don't live here.. I forget every time!!! Ok, that's true about diseases etc. I've just never seen a cat on a lead before! New trend alert! Grin

Good luck Purdey Pie!!!! How dare they just bring it forward- obviously that desperate to see the wonderful you!... Can't wait to hear how you go Flowers twirl cake for luck Cake

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 13:01

sparkly I saw GP on Monday about something else and mentioned ttc. She has started the ball rolling with day 21 blood tests but will have to wait for next cycle for that, if I don't get lucky this month. I do have endometriosis but we conceived naturally just before our IVF referral

loopylou1984 · 11/03/2015 13:03

We had a lead for our cat when he was young and we lived on a main road! He roams free now though and I'm not sure we'd have much luck getting a lead on him if we were to try! X

Sparkly123 · 11/03/2015 13:05

Merry at least the ball is rolling then. That's great you conceived first time with endo. Is it treated? I will keep everything crossed for you!

Southy84 · 11/03/2015 13:10

Thanks babs I'll let you know how I get on.

spinning I'm literally hoping for miracles which is completely ridiculous, if anything I need to be more relaxed so hopefully acupuncture will at least help that. Does it hurt?

Ohhh happy birthday dojo :) Cake

victoria401 · 11/03/2015 13:30

Welcome merry! I was all curious about the 3yr ttc and was gonna ask questions but they've been answered now ;-) I have been ttc 2+ years now and on the waiting list for ivf. We have crap sperm though. The consultant said we should be able to conceive naturally though it just might take longer, like 3 years! Fingers crossed the same will happen to us as with you! Hope you don't have too much more of a wait for dc2.

tessie where in the world r u?

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 13:39

sparkly I had a lap and a cyst was removed and the rest was lasered off. We conceived 1.5 years later. I was about to be prescribed clomid as there were issues with low progesterone but my own consultant didn't think this would help so they decided against it. I was gutted at this point as I thought it would help due to also having low ovarian reserve but just went along with it. There were no male contributing factors and at one point I told DH he could walk away as I really didn't feel I had any fight left in me and we bought longed for children. He told me that no matter what happened he would always be with me and couldn't even imagine being with anyone else. I also had a 2 scans last year which showed a cyst but by December it had gone so I'm hopeful.
southy I had acupuncture but it was always noisy in there with other people talking so I gave up after a couple of goes. A friend had it for ttc and found it relaxing and she conceived a while after stopping so who knows it may have restored her hormonal balance. Another friend conceived after having a fertility massage. I may actually look into this as I didn't really think about it at the time although I was desperate to conceive
