Victoria fx firmly crossed for you. You will have that bfp very soon. We were told it was highly unlikely that I would conceive naturally but i did and I know that you will too.
A cousin of mine was told she would never conceive with DH's sperm. They accepted this advice and decided against sperm donor. They love each other and have stayed together. She used to joke that at least they won't have to worry about contraception. 10 years on they are now expecting their 1st baby, conceived naturally. We are all very happy for them.

Its a nasty place for the cats and dogs here Sparkly, although I think if we lived on a main road like you Sammy I would be tempted to use the lead at home too! Confused

We live in Sarajevo Victoria

Ah DizzyMerry sounds as though you and your DH have a very strong relationship Smile

cymonsarah · 11/03/2015 14:09

Pikz · 11/03/2015 14:24

Merry nice to see someone else in my shoes :) also ttc number 2 after number 1 took a lot of time and operations etc and we too were a week away from starting more treatment.

Hoping this is lucky cycle 15 for me as I only have 2 more before we begin more treatment.

tessiegirl · 11/03/2015 14:25

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 14:38

My grandmother's neighbour used to always have her cat on a lead. She adored her cat and had a fright when it went missing so put it on a lead. My uncles had to intervene though when the kids start putting stray cats on leads on trying to swing them around. Cruel hits but thankfully it nipped the situation in the bud.
Thanks cymonsarah. Fx also crossed for you
Tessie we have a very strong bond and he has been my rock throughout this. He even said it would be ok if I wasn't willing to go through IVF but I knew I did. His sisters sis in law has adopted 2 brothers. They are now 8 and 5 and are delightful. She is single and has always wanted children. They have been with her for 4 years now and are the centre of her universe. The family also adore them. DH has always talked about adoption and how selfless people who did are. He would love to do this

AbFab86 · 11/03/2015 14:39

I walk my cat and I've moved away from the UK too. Maybe it's something you pass through in immigration that sends you a bit bonkers Grin

So I've had lower back pains and am cramping like a good'un at the moment, so I think AF might be imminent. I'm pleased about that to some extent, because it means I'm not completely dysfunctional inside, but hopefully it won't slow down any process with the doctor when I see her on Tuesday. I've never had a normal cycle and this one, if AF comes tomorrow, will have been 94 days. Hardly conducive to reproduction.

They're pretty good with medicating to solve problems here so I'm hoping that works in my favour Smile

Until then...OBEM marathon on 4od!

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 14:41

Oops posted too soon. Pikz what issues did you have the first time? What treatment will you be having? Hopefully this will not be needed and you will get your bpf this cycle

Pikz · 11/03/2015 15:00

Dizzy ttc #1 I had a hysteroscopy with adhesion removal and endo removal and got a natural bfp 3 cycles after the ops which meant 16 cycles ttc

Ttc #2 I have had a hysteroscopy, laproscopy and dye in dec with endo and adhesion removal. Now have to wait til may until starting clomid as a next step but fingers crossed we concieve in the meantime. This is cycle 15

Nomio230 · 11/03/2015 15:02

Merry, welcome. I have heard that endo is often made better by giving birth. Hopefully the fact that you already have a child will help you this time round.

Vic, I am hoping the same thing. I have heard loads of stories where people get pregnant the month before iVF. I think it is because the pressure is off.

I have a question Sparkly/Dr Purdey/any other temping ladies. I have had a drop below coverline today. Could it possibly be implantation at only 5DPO, or is that just wishful thinking?

MARCH BUZZ..Come and get thy babbies!
PurdeyBirdie · 11/03/2015 15:12

Ahh, DizzyMerry, you sound just lovely. Welcome Thanks Thank you for the interview wishes, it went really, really well Smile

Heir, oh no to possibly-imminent AF! Sad

Sparkly, ambulances are just so scary. How have they treated your mum? Antibiotics? I hope she is well - or recovered - soon Thanks The interview was ace. You know when you enter a building and the bricks just say 'You're at home here'? And have you ever met a stranger and known straight away you would hit it off? Well, that's exactly how I felt when I went to the interview. We have decided I would be best placed at the adult learning college in the admin department. They have just been classed as not very good by Ofsted and the chief exec has left and so the curriculum is all to cock and there are many projects to get my teeth into. Importantly to me, she said 'you won't be bored'. So..the next stage is for me to meet 'Leanne', who would be my manager at the college Smile

Sparkly, no cake for DH! I'm afraid his birthday is taking a bit of a back seat what with it being Nancy's on Friday! She has a little boyfriend called Joseph who was born four days before her and whose mum I met here on Mumsnet on an antenatal thread! She lives 45 minutes away in Lancaster and we have become firm friends. She's always around here with her nipper and seeing him and Nancy growing up together is something a bit special. So..they are coming tomorrow for a little joint party and I am baking a cake this afternoon for the two of them Smile

Still catching up...

nomio, although I'm not an expert and certainly not as clued up as some of our friends on here, I spent so much time studying charts last month when I had my free vip trial, and there were quite a lot with dips around 6dpo..... But on the other hand there were also a lot of charts with no dips at all resulting in pregnancy! I gave up trying to read too much into it in the end. Mine looked nothing like anything Itried to compare against lol. I did have a big dip at 11dpo which is supposedly a good thing but I didn't get pg!

victoria401 · 11/03/2015 15:14

I kinda wish the problems were with me and something that could be fixed instead of it being duff sperm. Neither of us want donor sperm either, couldn't bear the thought of it and I'm glad we both agree on that! However, I'm willing to look into adoption but dh isn't. I don't think we could pass the requirements personally. It seems so hard to become an adoptive parent when any old tom dick and harry can pop them out.

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 15:15

Pikz was the endo diagnosed again by a scan? My recent scan was clear but will discuss next steps with GP after having my blood tests. I am hoping it doesn't come to that.
Hope you get your bfp before any further treatment is required and you are very close to it now with a plan in place.
Nomio I was told that my a nurse and although initially it got better it came back again. Latest scan was clear though and periods seem to have calmed down for a couple of months so hoping it stays that way

Nomio230 · 11/03/2015 15:16

Purds, that sounds amazing, well done you!

Sparkly, I am so sorry to hear about your mum. I hope she feels better soon.

Pikz · 11/03/2015 15:17

This time no. They couldn't see anything on the scan before the ops except for a giant cyst on my right side which they removed. They found the endo and adhesions once they got in there!

nightandthelight · 11/03/2015 15:21

Yay purdey great news :)

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/03/2015 15:27

Welcome all the new ladies
Good luck with the house night
Hope you feel better soon vic

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 15:31

It's a rubbish journey at times victoria but I know it will work out well for you.
It did come as a shock having DD and I had a tough labour so it was DH who held her first as I was exhausted. I had problems bf but carried on and didn't feel an instant bonding which I thought I should have. It was when she was 4 weeks old when I actually started bonding with her and I am absolutely love her and am besotted by her, if that's the right word, even though she talks ten to the dozen and has too much energy. Now I know how my mum felt with me!

Purdey glad the interview went well. They'll be snapping you up, mark my words. Ooh Nancy's birthday, so exciting. I saw her pic on one of the other threads and she is such a cutie, adorable. The party sounds so lovely. Can you post a pic of the cake when you've made it? I'd love to see it and I'm sure the other ladies would too

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 11/03/2015 15:44

So glad the interview went well Purdey! they would be mental not to snap you up!! Good luck hope they don't leave you hanging too long.

Ah I saw a fb video the other day of a little girls 1st birthday and she picked up the cake with both hands and shoved her face in it! My Kinda Gal!

My AF is late..day 31 now. haven't tested since yesterday so if no AF by Friday I will test again. My apps have had a breakdown. FF have predicted tomorrow.

I got my CB Peak on the 27th Feb (CD19) we dtd on CD 8,11,13,15,17,18,19(PEAK) 20,22. And nothing since then as too knackered.

I feel crazy listing 'symptoms' but this is what has been happening to me.

Boobs feel full and hurt - blue veins.
Need to pee more than usual
heaviness in lower belly
Bit sick
bit dizzy
have been eating well as doing weight watchers and drinking my usual teas/glasses of water. Still up weeing every hour.

Tests I have taken have been BFN.

If I peaked on CD 19 -24 Hours after that would take me to CD22 - Today is CD31 - if I am getting BFN's now - am I out? Is my womb making a mug of me!?!? arghh!
