Thanks Spinning

babsbunny I know what you mean, TTC so takes all the passion out of DTD. My OH had the same view as you though, can't do any harm.

Are you going to keep POAS with OPKs now or leave it at that? If mine is positive tomorrow OH might keel over Shock

nightandthelight · 11/03/2015 08:58

We aren't buying Dizzy sadly so you are still one step ahead of us! Just set up a viewing for Saturday at 13:00. So excited!

wotsits1 · 11/03/2015 09:01

babsbunny when I was pregnant with dd1 all I could keep down from weeks 6 - 12 were wotsits! lol! Or waterfields cheese and onion pasties but that would've been a stupid name!

night Good luck with the house!

Coincidentally... do you all have room in your house for a little baby and all its tranklements? (tranklements = My fave word ever!) I don't! Spare room will need a serious overhaul!

nightandthelight · 11/03/2015 09:07

That's why we are moving into a bigger property wotsit :)

Oysterbabe · 11/03/2015 09:07

We have a room full of junk which could be turned into a baby room with a lot of hard work!

cymonsarah · 11/03/2015 09:10

Same here wotsit But I'll think about that later Wink

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/03/2015 09:17

This was why I wanted to buy a house. We're in a two bed flat, which would be fine if it would just be us and baby but we have DP's kids stay every other weekend plus every other Friday night in between his weekends. So no, we don't have room but we've agreed well just have to make it work! Because of this we'll probably have to look at using a Moses basket to begin with so baby can sleep in our room when the kids are staying, then hopefully when it's ready for moving into a cot we'll have our house with a nursery anyway!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 11/03/2015 09:20

We don't really have enough room Wotsit but my feeling is get upduffed first and then worry about that :)

My day has started splendidly with a packet of sesame seeds falling out of a kitchen cupboard and going EVERYWHERE. Was late for work as the clean up took so long!

Good luck Purdey for the job!

PurdeyBirdie · 11/03/2015 09:22

Happy Birthday, beautiful Dojo! ThanksCakeBrew

Babs, you are so lovely - and thank you everyone for good luck wishes today. It's at 2.15pm.

Sparkly, what's up with Mum? Have you talked about this before? I'm sure you have. It sounds like it was a tiring day for you Thanks Thank you for being a one-tubeliever! Grin

Giddy, don't hate me but I don't think you've ovulated. Yet.

You will always find room for a baby. Like a drawer or summat.

Tranklement is such a groovy word

I'm sure this has been asked before but does anyone know if sudafed has any negative impact on ttc? Saw my gp yesterday as I've got some sort of ear problem (been getting fleeting episodes of vertigo for the last couple of months, thought I needed my ears cleaned out but apparently they're clear). Dr thinks there might me something going on deep in my inner ear and has suggested I take a course of sudafed for 5 days to see if it helps. I'm not due to ov until 24th March, but will the meds affect ov/cm quality?

KnitFastDieWarm · 11/03/2015 09:40

Morning all,

I was up till 2 am last night and I WANT COFFEEEEEEEE :(

One cup can't hurt right? (please say yes Grin)

Sending interview mojo purds

tessiegirl · 11/03/2015 09:59

Good morning all!

Happy birthday Dojo! Cake Flowers

Oh no Knit, surely one coffee wouldn't hurt?!

Sorry Dizzy I have no idea about Sudafed, but hopefully someone will be along shortly to advise!

Best of luck for this afternoon Purdey Smile

Night sending huge amounts of luck to you for your house viewing - I hope they will accept the cats!

Victoria Hope you feel better very soon! Flowers

Just drumming my fingers here waiting for AF to start properly. Still just getting a bit of brown spotting... We have a lovely house in the UK which was DH's family home so it has lots of lovely memories for him and we hope to make that our family home too. We have just got planning permission to start building an extension this year. Of course, we don't know when we will actually be living back in the UK so the idea is to have extension done and then rent it out until we come back....someday! Smile

tessiegirl · 11/03/2015 10:03

Dizzy a quick Google search tells me that Sudafed prevents the production of CM so best to avoid when ttc and definitely not in pregnancy as it could harm foetus....hope that helps!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 11/03/2015 10:44

Fuck, I think I have period pain. Going to the loo to obsessively check every three minutes :(

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/03/2015 10:53

Oh really tessie? Hmm that's annoying, I really want to sort out this ear/dizziness thing so that might mean I'm out for my next cycle before it's even got going Sad. Maybe if I start today it might not interfere too much....

KnitFastDieWarm · 11/03/2015 10:53

Heir I have my fingers firmly crossed for you - in the meantime have some Cake

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/03/2015 10:53

Is AF due heir?

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/03/2015 11:07

Wow sudafed is top of the list of things to avoid Sad Hmm, I also didn't realise that ibuprofen should be avoided too! I take this all the time for headaches!

nightandthelight · 11/03/2015 11:19

I believe that paracetamol is the only safe one Dizzy :(

HeirToTheIronThrone · 11/03/2015 11:22

Yes Dizzy, due tomorrow but had so convinced myself this was it... No sign yet but not hopeful!

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/03/2015 11:27

Fingers crossed for you heir.

Oh well, I'd rather nip this ear thingy in the bud now....I could leave it until next month but if I did get pg it means I potentially can't sort things out until next year, seeing as you apparently can't take sudafed whilst pg either!

I'm off to meet my mates 2 weeks old son this afternoon Smile, he's very cute judging by the fb pics I've seen so far. I hope I don't cry when I meet him lol Blush

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 11/03/2015 11:33

Dizzy , this web site is quite useful
www.medicinesinpregnancy.org/
I suffer with hay fever so wanted to know what I can use while ttc and pg

DizzyMerry · 11/03/2015 11:35

May I join you amazing ladies? I have been lurking since the Jan bus but thought it's now time to join in. I already have a DD just over 2 and it took us over 3 years to conceive her. So here we are again and it's already been a year.
Everyone is so helpful and supportive here so I'm in the right place.
Good luck with the interview purdey, you will be amazing and I'm sure they'll be delighted to have you working there.
Fingers tightly crossed for you heir and everyone else testing in the next few days. I keep trying to be hopeful and it is difficult but we will, WE WILL get our bfp's.

Will read back properly now as I only just skimmed through.

DizzyMerry, 34, ttc#2, cycle 12. BFP/AF due 13 March

Great intro purds made me chuckle Grin

abfab bodies can be cruel, so frustrating for you. I hope the appointment goes well and you get what you want from it. Well done on the optimism, it's the only way.

giddy sinusitis sucks. I suffer usually at least once a year. Sympathies Flowers
