Oh sparkly I'm very teary too. For me it's a combination of pmt, tiredness -I've had a very hectic week and oh has been working away so I've had to look after the dcs alone Shock and just total boredom. Tww is a snooze fest when you have nothing to symptom spot for!
Cd 28 here so I'll soon be able to get cracking with the next cycle......

purdey I'm sorry Nancy wasn't her usual chipper self. Hope she perks up soon

All this talk of Christmas babies, my oldest dd is very very much a christmas baby and she hates it! She insists I was cruel to have her at Christmas. .....don't know what she'd say if I dared pop another dc out over the festive period......

Sparkly123 · 13/03/2015 21:04

Sammy that's great! Sounds brill. Something to def look forward to!!

Pikz ah so it's not just me then! Phew!! I'm not usually like this!!oh I daren't watch comic relief tonight!! You are brave..!!!

Nomio230 · 13/03/2015 21:04

Sparkly, I am still here. Had to finish off an essay, but I have just submitted, so I am here for the rest of the night.

Spinning, keep going. I honestly think everyone on this bus will get their little miracles at some point.

Purds, I am so sorry you have had a bad day. I really hope the birthday girl gets better soon. It is so horrible when little ones are ill. Sad

Re your ironing mistake, I bought myself a new coat last year, had it taken in so it fitted just perfectly, then the first time I washed it I plonked a great big iron shaped mark on the arm. It melted away all the fabric & couldn't be fixed. See, you are not the only dumbass on here!

DH gets back from his work trip about 11 tonight & I am stupidly excited to see him. It has only been 3 days!

mrsb0710 · 13/03/2015 21:05

Poor Nancy, and mummy purdey too.

CD6, nothing happening. DH did take me for dinner and a movie tonight, so I should dtd. Haha.

spinningirl10 · 13/03/2015 21:05

My birthdays just before New year, it's a shit time of the year for a birthday but if I'm lucky enough to have a Christmas baby I will make it super special every yearSmile

I'm hoping that all the teariness here tonight is a symptomGrin

PurdeyBirdie · 13/03/2015 21:06

Spinning and Mummy, yes it is very encouraging to see those charts on FF where forty-odd-year-old women are getting pregnant (especially with only one tube!) I hate to be defeatist here but it's not only the loooooong wait to conception that gets me down, it is the 40% miscarriage rate for our age group. Can you imagine waiting 19 months for your bfp and the egg is chromasomally abnormal and ends in mc? That's what 40% of us oldies face Sad

Pa ha! No, I'm not watching Corrie, Spinning, though I wish I was! Baby keeps waking up crying her eyes out so I run up, take her into my bed, sing softly to her, get her to sleep, put her back in her cot, come downstairs to chat to you lovelies, bay cries again in pain, I run upstairs...well, you get the picture....Hmm

OP posts:
PurdeyBirdie · 13/03/2015 21:10

*bay does not cry, baby cries Hmm

MrsB, what film did you watch? I'm going to see a horror on Sunday called It Follows. Got excellent reviews.

Nomio, I am infuriatingly thick when it comes to common sense - basically I have none. I wouldn't mind, but as I was starting to place the iron over the tulle I remembered ruining my bezzie's blouse in a similar ironing accident in the 1990s and my last thought was: 'Ooo, remember when you burnt Jill's blouse and you were mortified? That was the same kind of material as th.....' Hmm

Purdey Big hugs for you. You sound so sad about Nancy's birthday not being as perfect as it should have been. I'm sure she won't remember, and in fact when she's a teenager you can have a good laugh about melting her dress and her then showing her feelings about that by vomming on it. Maybe when she's back to her usual self you can have a special outing (and more cake!)?

I'm not sure whether I have yet Ov'ed you know because I don't have EWCM yet (its the stretchy but cloudy stuff again today), nor do I have ferns on my saliva scope which I got very clearly last month (but obvs didn't get upduffed so who knows if I did ovulate). Am looking forward to watching my temps! How much should the post-ov rise be?

Sammy Glad your skiing lesson was fun! Is there plenty snow where you're going? Spring skiing is just lovely when it's all blue skies & sunshine. Very jealous! We almost booked to go to Austria next week a few weeks back but then decided not to 'just in case' I was preggo Hmm that was stupid.

spinningirl10 · 13/03/2015 21:11

Mrsb, dinner and movie sounds lovely. What did you see?

Sammy, not long now until your holiday, very exciting!

Thanks Nomio, our time will comeSmile

Very true there Purdey, I think I'll be a nervous wreck if I get a bfp, would just like to forward to 12 weeks!
Ah poor Nancy, teething is awful, hate seeing their bright red burning cheeks. Does calpol help much?

Sparkly123 · 13/03/2015 21:12

Aw Kissing sorry you feel rubbish too!! Like you say, when you get started on next cycle you will feel renewed hope and raring to go again. And you will be another step closer to your baby Flowers

Purds numbers. You are right. And my numbers not high so far compared to some of you. I should appreciate that! I remember last Mother's Day naively thinking I might be/or almost be a mum this year.. You can't plan anything In life though can you. I know it WILL happen. I'm just having a wobble. Thanks lovely Flowers oh and re spotting- I had brown cm/brown blood three days before my BFP and on day of BFP but then three days later obviously that progressed.

Just went to loo... Tmi.. Light Pink stain of blood when I wiped. Just the once. Part of me got excited as it usually goes brown spotting- brown blood- AF for me.. And I am only 9dpo according to FF.. But the realist in me is saying nah , there's brown spotting too..which you always get. So I'm maybe gonna have to brace myself.. Confused

victoria401 · 13/03/2015 21:14

Finally starting to feel better from my cold this afternoon! 5 days long! Not nice! Glad I'll be ok for my weekend!

Hmm...it is refusing to post my photos. Any idea why? I haven't posted any today.

DizzyMerry · 13/03/2015 21:17

Purdey sorry Nancy has been unwell. Sounds like you've had a tough time. Hope she gets better soon.

I'm feeling a bit better now and can't wait for AF to go away so we can start trying again.
I'm sure maca was mentioned on one of the buses but can't remember much about it. I ordered the powdered form a few weeks ago when I ordered my lube but haven't tried it yet. Have any of you used it?
Also has anyone tried reflexology? I just feel that I now need to be doing something even though I will be having day 21 bloods this cycle

mrsb0710 · 13/03/2015 21:17

The Second Best Exotic Marigold. I loves me a bit a Richard Gere.

Had Mexican food for dinner, got halfway through my tequila cocktail, and realised they'd put the tequila worm in it Confused
Luckily the alcohol had worked its way to my brain by then, and I happily kept drinking.

DH informs me not to forget that its steak and BJ day tomorrow, we don't have steak, so I guess he's out of luck!

ThePug · 13/03/2015 21:18

Oh wait - there's a video of Nancy on Facebook? And she's really cute? That might just be enough to tip me over the edge and give up my anonymity and join the secret group. Who do I need to speak to about this? just realised this may make me sound like a creepy internet weirdo so Purdey don't take that the wrong way - I just want to see your cute baby we hear all about.

mrsb0710 · 13/03/2015 21:19

dizzy just rang a lady today to chat about reflexology. Not sure how much I have faith in it for fertility, but I've had it before for stress relief and its helped. I'm going to have a few sessions as I've been having mega tension headaches, and see how it goes.

Sparkly123 · 13/03/2015 21:19

Mrsb lucky you having a date night! What did you see?

Hi Nomio glad your essay sorted! So.. Still feeling preggers?! Wink

Oh Purds tough night for you and little Nancy! Mummy cuddles obviously solve everything.. Even if it was for only a half hour cat nap eh. Hope Tomor is better Flowers

ThePug · 13/03/2015 21:20

wtf is a tequila worm mrsb ?????

spinningirl10 · 13/03/2015 21:20

Pug, I've Pm'd youSmile

Sparkly123 · 13/03/2015 21:21

Glad you are feeling a bit better for weekend victoria

What's with all the tears tonight then! Is it a full moon or something!!! Confused

Sparkly123 · 13/03/2015 21:22

mrsb oh is it good? Good cast!

mrsb0710 · 13/03/2015 21:23

pug some brands of tequila put the cactus worm in the bottle...I'm not sure why. Anyhow, this restaurant obvs has an endless supply they sneakily put in the cocktail. It looked like a big fat maggot. Yummy!

victoria401 · 13/03/2015 21:24

Its literally a maggot or something that they put in the bottle of tequila! Meant to be good luck if you get it isn't it? might only be good luck if you eat it
