Morning frog!

Abfab, ff has finally given up on me and removed my cross hairs for the month. Fiddlesticks.

Happy, happy birthday to Nancy pants! Have a smashing day, hope she has a lovely time with Joseph! Cake

Oysterbabe · 13/03/2015 08:08

Other half got up early to watch F1 practice, tomorrow it'll be qualifying and Sunday the race so no chance of any morning DTD for the next few days. Will have to make sure we go to bed at a reasonable time. I think I'll get some wine to drug him with later.

nightandthelight · 13/03/2015 08:11

Horrible nightmares last night (not claiming this as a symptom I often get vivid dreams), still shaken now at work. DH became an old man and joined up with two old women to butcher me. Luckily my darling fur babies turned into tigers and ripped them all to pieces. However they kept coming back as zombies. Oh and to cap it all I was worried about failing my A Levels! Hmm

kissinggiraffe · 13/03/2015 08:18

Happy Friday everyone Smile

purdey I hope NPants has a wonderful day. I always find dcs 1st birthdays a bit of an emotional roller coaster. Cake

Can't remember whose oh went white at my birth story. My oh said afterwards it was like watching his favourite pub being burnt down. He knew they would do it up but it'd never be the same Grin

Anyone else think that joining these buses actually messes your cycles up? I have always been a regular cycle person but since being on here I have absolutely no idea what to expect or when to expect it. Crazy I tell ya!

kissinggiraffe · 13/03/2015 08:23

Also meant to say heir that is so tough. It's a horrible feeling when you want to be happy for someone but you just can't. We have friends who tried for a baby for 10 years, failed ivf, the lot. They actually fell pregnant naturally eventually but sadly lost the baby very late in the pregnancy. They have gone on to conceive naturally again and have a beautiful girl and are now trying again. They so deserve as many babies as they want, whenever they want after what they've been through but I know if they conceive before me I'll struggle.
Flowers for you. It WILL be your turn soon.

PurdeyBirdie · 13/03/2015 08:44

Morning, pulchritudinous friends! Thank you for wishing Nancy a happy first birthday Smile You are all just so lovely X

We had a stream of visitors all day and evening yesterday and then Nancy was very distressed at 2am. I couldn't ascertain whether it was teething, her barking cough or her broken collarbone giving her pain - and there's only so much baby Nurofen a tot can be drugged with - so in she came with me to bed. This Does Not Happen In My House Hmm

Poor Nancy! Hope she feels better for the rest of her birthday Flowers

babsbunny · 13/03/2015 08:55

Happy birthday to your Nancy! Hope she is feeling better today.

Mumsnet has gone mad and the March bus is now one long page when I logged in. That's a lot to scroll through!

I am getting a stinky cold. Have site throat and stuffy schnozz. So I'm going to sit and be grumpy at my desk.

Can one drink lemsips while in tww?

babsbunny · 13/03/2015 08:56

*sore....I'm obsessed with sites!

mummyofonesofar · 13/03/2015 09:16

Babs Lemsip has a lot of caffeine in, you’re better off having things separate, paracetamol for pain, lemon and water for throat and a decongestant rubbed on your chest.

Purdey Sorry N-pants is feeling rubbish, birthday cuddles in bed are ok. Hope she has perked up now ready to enjoy her birthday party. Cake

Mumof1sofar · 13/03/2015 09:17

Morning allSmile
Happy bday Nancy (sweet name btw) Grin

Ok so 2ww symptom spotting...
I'm now 5/6dpo & I'm being v clumsy & feeling hormonal, overreacting to things, etc... Anyone else care to share their "symptoms"?

mummyofonesofar · 13/03/2015 09:22

Babs Just double checked and though the tablets have caffeine, the drinks don't!

nightandthelight · 13/03/2015 09:23

I was told off (rightly so) for talking about mine yesterday Mum. I do really feel pregnant but am aware that I could be imagining it all! Still so long till testing :(

mummyofonesofar · 13/03/2015 09:26

Will update my stats - FF thinks BFP due date is 02/04 now due to stupidly long cycle last month so don't get to test in March. Hope I can stay here though 'cause I luffs you all Blush

tessiegirl · 13/03/2015 09:57

Just wanted to pop on and say hello to you all! Grin

Happy birthday to Nancy!!

Hang in there ladies, I want to see lots more March bfps! Smile

MarysPrayer · 13/03/2015 10:04

Morning all Smile

kissinggiraffe Grin Grin at your dh's pub comment!

Purdey I hope Nancy perks up soon and can enjoy her special day. Lovely that she had some birthday snuggles in bed. As it's a special occasion, the rods will stay well away from your back. Wink

MarysPrayer · 13/03/2015 10:07

Ooh, another thing: I had a bloody 'orrible tough birth, but I'm back for more! we 2nd timers must be mad

spinningirl10 · 13/03/2015 10:17

Here's my strange chart, not had one like this before but think I'm out!

MARCH BUZZ..Come and get thy babbies!
spinningirl10 · 13/03/2015 10:17

Happy Birthday to Nancy, hope she perks up and enjoys her daySmile

Night, horrible dream!!

spinningirl10 · 13/03/2015 10:20

Loving the seduction chatSmile
It's rarely romantic for us at ov time, just a get the job done shagGrin

Eskimo, I assumed they'd be much younger asking questions like that!

mummyofonesofar · 13/03/2015 10:36

Kissing your DH's comment was brilliant!

Anyone spoke to their DH's about which end they will be at when your babies are born. This is DP's first birthing experience as DS isn't biologically his, he doesn't want to see that moment (he may change his mind) but do any of yours have a preference - or have you told them they are not allowed to look? Or for second timers, did they look last time and couldn't manage to look this time, or didn't look and regret it? Was just wondering!

MarysPrayer · 13/03/2015 10:41

Mummy I'm not sure that dh and I ever spoke about it but as dd was born in theatre he had to stay at the top end, which I'm glad about. I know a few women who have said 'top end only' but, in the heat of it all, ended up sending their dh's down to the business end!

spinningirl10 · 13/03/2015 10:44

Haha Kissing, love dh's commentSmile

Mummy, dp says he will no way be down watching the head come out! He said he'll be at the top end, he even said 'well could they rig a curtain up!' (As in across my stomach! ) Yes he was serious Smile

Oysterbabe · 13/03/2015 10:49

My other half will defo be at the head end. He thinks watching would be like watching someone crash his sports car (if he had one)

Nomio230 · 13/03/2015 10:57

Kissing, that is a great quote from DH!

Mummy, I have told DH in no uncertain terms that he is to stay at the head end. I think after seeing a head pop out of your bits it would be hard to ever find them sexy again!

Heir, I am so sorry you are feeling bad. I have been there so many times. Try to stay positive-you will get your baby soon & it will be amazing. You can waddle round stroking your bump all day!

Purds, Happy Birthday to the gorgeous Miss Pantz. Grin We will be expecting lots of pics on FB.
