Can I be greedy & have two please, Night?

Eskimo, you made me laugh out loud!

Sparkly, I seem to have gone a bit crazy & convinced myself that I am pregnant this month. Blush

Juggling, I think quite a few people ovulate later on. I amy be wrong, but I don't think it indicates any kind of problem.

Nomio230 · 12/03/2015 20:45

May, not amy. Confused

Nomio230 · 12/03/2015 20:47

By the way, I just googled the heaviest baby ever born. It was 22 lb 8 oz. Shock

juneybean · 12/03/2015 20:50

Did IC OPK when I got home from work at 6pm but it was negative! Need to buy more digital sticks as only have 4 left...

jugglingmonkey · 12/03/2015 20:54

The boots ones... Got a few faint lines on cd 11&12, then nothing on 13&14 so I stopped using them. Now definite positive on CD16!

wotsits1 · 12/03/2015 20:56

juggling I only ovulate on day 18. Always have! Perfectly normal, me.

Eskimo oh dear! Yeah can I be there for that lesson too please? And we can't all be like Juliet... but who would want to be?!? Dumb broad killed herself over a bloke who was actually suffering from depression when he met her because he fancied another bird! Lothario!! You can bet they would've been on Jeremy Kyle, had they lived in this century.

merry hope your cycles get sorted soon hun! keep us posted!

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 12/03/2015 20:59

wotsits I' m hanging on the back of the bus as well.
I hope I don't end up with a big baby, I'm only 5ft 3.
When it comes to the birth, I'll be asking for an epi, but if anyone in RL asks, I'll be telling the G&A only, I work with lady who likes to tell everyone about doing it completely drug free and how wonderful it was.
Random fact from me, there's a solar eclipse next Friday, I'm hoping it's lucky to be ov'img around the same time!!

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 12/03/2015 21:02

Juggling you can get LH through out your cycle, but you get a surge a day or so before ov, which could be why you got the faint lines.
purdey hope Nancy has a fab birthday

Oysterbabe · 12/03/2015 21:14

That's encouraging monkey, hopefully mine will get stronger again.
Just ordered another 50 opks from the internet so I don't run out, can't complain for £8.

jugglingmonkey · 12/03/2015 21:23

A bit confused, and perhaps my previous results were negatives... Oh well, best jump DH tonight!
Sooooo impatient though, the two week wait is going to kill me!

CoffeeTwo · 12/03/2015 21:39

Evening all! Lots to catch up on!

night I'm also 7dpo and exhausted with stabby pains but looking at my previous notes (that's right, I keep notes) this is pretty normal for me. Sigh.

purdey I had ventouse not forceps but I imagine it's pretty much the same. dizzy I think it's worse because rather than just pushing, you're being forceably pulled. DS was well and truly stuck so all they were doing was ruining my vagina causing extra pain for no reason. I'd already pushed naturally for over an hour and that made me exhausted and desperate but I should have asked to go straight for a csection because that had to happen anyway but instead I had fanny stitches to deal with as well as surgery recovery. Good times.

Still, here I am trying to do it all again!

I agree with giddy that it's just one day and there's no point worrying about it. Eyes on the prize ladies!

Also lovely cake purdey Grin

Waves at AbFab another Lancashire Lass!

kissing you poor thing that birth sounds horrendously eye watering! I just told DH and he went white!

Loving all the seduction techniques! I'm in the Heir and Knit camp. Regularly demand to be impregnated. Thankfully I just have to show a bit of shoulder and DH is all up for it! He's a couple of years younger so that helps haha.

I think I'm going to test on mother's day. No pressure like.

ThePug · 12/03/2015 21:48

Purdey that cakes look fantastic! Hope the tots enjoy it.

Eskimo Ugh, how awful having to deal with your students' questions. I just know my business partner (male, 60s) is watching me like a hawk expecting me to announce pregnancy. He very pointedly questioned why I didn't want a glass of wine when we were staying away for a meeting the other week.

As per SMEP, I've dutifully done opks yesterday (CD12) and today (CD13) I didn't bother on CD10 or 11 as I was pretty sure it'd be too early. Pic attached of both. Much stronger today than yesterday, almost positive I'd say, so hopefully it'll turn positive tomorrow. Did this one at 8pm tonight as was driving all day. Do you think I should do it mid afternoon tomorrow or sooner in case I miss the surge? This is excellent timing indeed as it'll mean the 3 days in a row DTD will fall over the weekend.

MARCH BUZZ..Come and get thy babbies!
DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 21:49

What is your cycle length wotsits? Just wondering whether I do ovulate late on in my cycle and missing my surge. Clutching at straws now but I know years ago it was something like cd17 and I have stopped doing opks on the afternoon of day 18

wotsits1 · 12/03/2015 22:47

merry I have a 32 day cycle usually. At least, I did before I had the mirena coil put in. I had the coil for 5 years and no AF with it in (woohoo!) After I had it out, my first proper cycle (last month) was 32 days with ov on day 18, so I'm hoping I've just gone straight back to normal. We will see I guess.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 12/03/2015 22:49

Tonight we found out that my friend is pregnant with DC2; her DS is not quite 11 months old. I want so badly to be happy for her, but also to cry and scream 'it's not fair'. Feeling very sorry for myself if I'm honest :(

Giddymamma · 12/03/2015 22:53

Aw heir. I'm sorry you feel rubbish. Flowers

mummyofonesofar · 12/03/2015 22:53

Hi everyone, I have been busying myself and took ages to catch up. Took an evening away from the box to manage it, here goes:

Sparkly so sorry your Mum has been unwell. Labour is hard, I am not going to lie! I didn’t do the screaming thing but did end up with an epidural as labour went on for an age and I needed a nap! I pushed for so long that I screwed my pelvic floor and have only just stopped dribbling when I jump….6.5 years on! It was horrific but here I am ready to do it again! Though after kissing’s description I am not so sure!! Giddy you’re not alone with finding horrific things after giving birth. I went to the loo and as I pulled my massive pants down a huuuge clot plopped onto the floor, I was so horrified I pressed the buzzer for a midwife to come and look at it with me! Blush

Dojo I hope you had a lovely birthday. Dizzy sorry DH was being a dick. Boys are stupid, glad he is being nice again. Victoria sniffing his face?!?! HAHAHA

Purdey Happy Birthday to N-pants for tomorrow!! Lovely story about Joseph, Mumsnet is ace! Great news about the job too, fx they see how fab you are soon and start paying you for your precious time (am I right in remembering this is for experience getting back into work). Plus it will give you such purpose in in life that some of us need Flowers. I got a bank loan to pay off my overdraft Purdey so they are lending but interest is high, I think credit cards that you can switch after the interest free promo is over are better, you will get another gorgeous baby.

Good luck to everyone having their DH’s spermz tested. Sorry to any AFs and to those feeling fed up by the friends who sneezed and got their bfp, you will al get your babies, one way or another Flowers

Night fx for getting your trolley soon Grin Trolleys for all!!

Purdey I know birth was awful for you but the searching for your contact made me laugh! I had DS searching around for mine this morning as I dropped it. Found it covered in dust behind the radiator. Nothing wrong with being called Zoe Wink

Spinning sorry the funeral is so far away! How rubbish for you all. I know I have been distracted but I really am sorry for your loss Flowers

Eskimo sorry about your intrusive year 10s, I hope the hospital finds you some answers Flowers Would be funny to see the reaction if you told them all that!

wotsits1 · 12/03/2015 22:53

awww heir that was me two days ago. It sucks, right! Feeling totally bugged is your god given right when you have calculating conception down to a fine art and some people appear to get knocked up if a boy throw his boxers at them! I was the same with my friend this week... then Victoria reminded me that she had probably spent the last few months in my shoes obsessing too. That kinda snapped me out of it! Your time will come Heir, and then you will be them one smugly pissing off other people who will be ttc.

I can't wait to be that smug cow! Grin Wink Wink

ThePug · 12/03/2015 22:56

Sorry to hear how down you're feeling Heir Flowers. Some people get upduffed so easily. Not sure I'd want two under-20 months to be honest though.

DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 23:01

Thanks for the info wotsits. I will carry on doing opks until cd20 next cycle, if no luck this month, just to be sure. Will be having day 21 bloods so will find out what's going on. No AF for 5 years? Sounds blissful! I had zoladex just over 3 years ago and thought I'd be over the moon to see the back of AF but the side effects were awful and I would have happily welcomed AF back, just can't win Confused
That is tough heir and I would feel exactly the same as you do. A cousin of mine was ttc a year before me, I've had one child and she is expecting her 5th! We will get our bfp's we just need to hang in there Flowers

mummyofonesofar · 12/03/2015 23:08

Oh and I have weird pre ov temps... Hmm

MARCH BUZZ..Come and get thy babbies!
HeirToTheIronThrone · 12/03/2015 23:25

Aw thanks all. The awful thing is that it took them 3 years and medication to get their first - they were a week or so from starting IVF when she found she was pregnant. So she has been there, and so deserves it, and I should be delighted as they wanted two and it's worked naturally so soon second time round. But I am just a big ball of weepy rage. Going to sleep on it and sure it will work itself out.

Sparkly123 · 12/03/2015 23:58

Night night everyone. Friday 13th is going to be a lucky day for us all! Grin

Happy birthday for Tomor NPants!!!

Heir sorry you are feeling down, I know it must be so hard. Sending positive thoughts for Tomor. Flowers

Nomio good! Positive thinking!! I'm gonna join you.... Hmm

frogbubbles · 13/03/2015 00:37

Hay ladies, I have been absent from the buses for awhile now, life got crazy etc. But we are ready to rock again. So I'm hoping there's room for me here.Smile

stats Frogbubbles, 33, ttc 2, BFP due 25/3

AbFab86 · 13/03/2015 06:25

Good morning!

Still no AF for me. FF chart looks like a mountain range. Cannot wait til Tuesday and my appointment. Trying not to get my hopes up that I'll be able to start clomid soon after, but we'll see.

A friend at work the other day asked me if I wanted to run the marathon with her next January. Had to laugh it off and say I had plans. Also noticed another woman is pregnant at work, though she hasn't announced anything officially yet. Hmph.

Purdey I do miss Chorley! Though maybe not the council estates and the weather Grin Wedding will now be in the LEP around the end of the month apparently. Very much looking forward to being back there for a few weeks in the summer. Pregnant, of course.
