Here is my chart. It's my first month charting so I don't really know what's normal for me yet.

Nice looking rise Oyster chart looks good!

nightandthelight · 12/03/2015 19:51

That phone battery level would be stressing me out oyster Grin

cymonsarah · 12/03/2015 19:53

Wotsit Don't you move a muscle! You can drive this one for us!

Looks like I have OV on CD 17/18 is this weird that it was a bit late? Do I trust the OPKs???? Confused

Oysterbabe · 12/03/2015 19:58

Ha! Now on charge.

I just don't trust it. My cycles are 28 days so I'm just not convinced I've oved yet. Plus i had a really weird stop / start af. If it turns out to be true though at least I'll know to start the serious shagging earlier next month!

DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 19:59

Wotsits I have cycles of 28 days normally but have had the odd couple at 31 and 33 days over the last year. Also Feb was only 24 days. I don't get any ov symptoms that I have ever noticed

jugglingmonkey · 12/03/2015 19:59

Hi bus ladies!!

So on a whim tonight I did the last Ov stick in the box... Thought I'd been using them wrong but have a definite positive tonight, on cycle day 16. Is this normal?

juneybean · 12/03/2015 20:01

plug your phone in oyster!

juneybean · 12/03/2015 20:02

juggling what kind of ov stick and have you been doing them every day?

eskimolaura · 12/03/2015 20:12

Hi all, welcome to the newbies.

Read through the labour posts squinting...

night can I share your trolley please?

Purdey your cake was beautiful. Hope Nancy had a lovely birthday.

Juney FX for the well-timed arrival of your ovulation. Get POAS!

Nothing to report round here. Still waiting for AF or something else to happen. Lost count of what CD I am... If I'm going from my last 'AF' (withdrawal bleed), I am probably something like CD50. If we are going from the weird positive OPK I had, I am 13DPO. Took a test yesterday BFN.

I have my hospital appointment next Thursday.

Had to grin and bear some awkward questions from the kids in my (very weak) Year 10 class today. 'Miss, do you want kids?' Miss- why do some people leave it so late before they have kids?' 'Miss-how old are you?' 'Miss, you're two years older than my mum' (!)

I am 32. They know I got married last year and they have already suggested I may be on maternity leave next year. Unfortunately, it doesn't help to be evasive with questions from kids like that, but nor can I (obviously) tell them anything about my private life. So I just have to be very vague and go 'Ohhhh, yes I think one day I'd like one' and 'Well, I don't think early 30s is old really...'

I would really like to say 'Well, I stopped taking the pill in November; it's been five months and every time I go for a wee, I inspect my knickers for red stains, whilst fingering my cervix for specks of womb lining. Ideally kids, I'd like my vulval vestibule to be dripping with blood, but we can't have it all can we? Now, shall we read some more of Romeo and Juliet? I bet Juliet never had this problem...' Shock

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 20:14

Hi ladies. Hope you are having a nice evening. Sorry for tmi here, but would appreciate some input.
I usually get a bit crampy around ov. Today I got a really sharp pain in my left ovary today after I went to the loo. Lasted for about 5 mins then went, but still feels a bit sore. This is not the first month this has happened, but it is always around or after ov. Does anyone else get this and should I be worried? I'm CD18 of a cycle that could be anything from 25-30 days judging by last five months...

Thanks

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 20:15

Purdey, cake is a masterpiece!
Night I want in on the trolley!

Juggling monkey yes totally normal. I get mine cd18-19

spinningirl10 · 12/03/2015 20:23

Eskimo, ah that sounds tough, what age group do you teach?

Oyster, chart looks good so far, were you using opks?

Juney, have you used an opk yet?

Babs, lots of ladies get ov pain but I don't very often, were you using opks?

eskimolaura · 12/03/2015 20:25

spinning I teach 12-16. The kids I'm referring to are 15 this year.

eskimolaura · 12/03/2015 20:25

Oops, I actually teach 11-16!

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 20:28

Spinning. No, we are only at this 3 months, so just been trying to time it right.

Oysterbabe · 12/03/2015 20:29

Well I hope so Purdie but I seriously doubt it!
I've just started using opks for the last 3 days and I've had 3 VERY faint lines, they've actually been more faint the last two days than on Tuesday but I thought that might be because I've necked loads of water. Unless ff is right and they're getting fainter as ov has passed. I just don't know but still think it hasn't happened yet.

nightandthelight · 12/03/2015 20:29

Everyone can be in on my trolley, roll up roll up and claim your babies :)

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 20:33

Eskimo. I want to be in the room when you deliver that lesson!

Avasmum8 · 12/03/2015 20:37

Evening everyone! I am going to try and catch up on some of your chatter now...

I also don't know what is going on with my body?! Think I ovulated as usual around CD 15 usually have 28 day cycles, tomorrow will be CD 35 and not a hint of AF yet! I have had negative pregnancy tests so know I am not pregnant but have no idea when AF will show up? The only AF symptom I've got is sore boobs it's so frustrating! I don't know if it is stress related as had some very busy days at work? Has this happened to anyone before who usually has regular cycles, I'm not sure if it will turn up or if I will just skip one altogether xx
