dizzy your dh sounds like mine with the rash decisions. We have an argument about something and before we've finished shouting he's picking up the phone to dial some number to follow it through and I'm grabbing it! Idiot. I hope you make up soon.

Ha!purdey one of dh's friends called me Zoe for the 1st 2 years if our relationship and I could never be bothered to correct him! He must of git a surprise when he got the wedding invite!

Still feel like shite today, 2nd day off work. Hate phoning in when off sick. Especially when I have Fri and Mon booked off AL now and it looks like I've extended my long weekend.

victoria401 · 12/03/2015 10:10

Hmmm I tend to faint from bad period pain.... Can you still give birth if you're unconscious?!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 12/03/2015 10:28

I had a fairly graphic description from my lovely friend who gave birth a couple of weeks ago the other day, with that and your story Purdey I reckon I'm prepared!

The cramps from yesterday have disappeared and no sign of AF, just more creamy cm. So am CD30 and 11dpo... Perhaps Knit I will join you in POAS on Monday if nothing by then? I can't bring myself to do it yet as I know I will be so crushed to get yet another bfn!

DizzyNorthernBird · 12/03/2015 10:43

Jeez. He's just popped home and grunted at me that he'd forgotten his work mobile phone. Then disappeared off without another word. I'm interested to see how much longer he's going to drag this out for. We've had huge fights in the past and he's never carried on like this. Grrr.

AbFab86 · 12/03/2015 10:45

Purdey and wotsits are you from Chorley?! I'm from Chorley too! Was Purdey's mention of the woodlands centre that made me realise. Ooh what a small world. I don't live there now, we moved to Dubai in the summer. I think our wedding might be in the Lancs evening post this weekend though...if you happen to see it Grin

AbFab86 · 12/03/2015 10:47

Heir I'm in a similar situation to you I think. I thought AF was going to appear after cramps yesterday but no sign. I don't think I've ovulated but will POAS on Monday just to be sure I think. I've ordered a load in the UK so they'll be back here by Sunday night (with my dad, who I have warned of the contents of the envelope so as not to panic him!)

wotsits1 · 12/03/2015 10:58

Nope I'm a Cheshire lass.. but close enough! That was my first Chorley visit x

Labour and delivery are just a day out of your lives. It hurts. There will be blood. You don't get a medal for enduring the pain so get yourselves an epidural and take a nap Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 12/03/2015 11:04

Yep I think after the stories here today I'd be leaning in favour of the drugs!

PurdeyBirdie · 12/03/2015 11:06

Look! LOOK!! I'm so proud of myself for making Nancy's first birthday cake! Grin

Dizzy I am the hasty one in our relationship but given some time and space I always come round after trying to blame others for my poor decisions Blush though since the arrival off DD I have reigned this attitude in. I'm sure he'll come round soon enough

HeirToTheIronThrone · 12/03/2015 11:11

Excellent work Purdey!

nightandthelight · 12/03/2015 11:11

That looks amazing purdey!

DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 11:14

That's a gorgeous looking cake purdey. Excellent work on the baking skills. Hope the cuties enjoy their party

juneybean · 12/03/2015 11:22

Looks marvelous Purds!!

spinningirl10 · 12/03/2015 11:28

Morning Smile

I'm not doing very well at keeping up! I am reading but got so much going on. Having problems/dramas with my dd, would happily lock myself in my room with a bottle of gin!

Purdey, love the cake. Hope Nancy and Joseph enjoy their little partySmile

Dizzy, sorry your Dh is being an arse! Hope he apologises tonight.
Dp started on at me yesterday about dd, he was eating a burger at the time, I got up and walked out. I never do that and I think it surprised him because he said sorry!

Sparkly123 · 12/03/2015 11:29

Purds amazing work on the cake. Looks gorg! Lucky Nancy! (And her bf!) your birth story sounds lovely. Right up my street.. Hmm sorry .. FlowersThat's a hellish one to go through, quite something that you want to do it all again...! Shock

I think I preferred the CM chat, what was I thinking bringing up childbirth!!! Sorry to all who have had a horrendous one. Us TTC #1s will now slowly disappear off the bus.... Confused

Dizzy hope your dh bucks up his ideas soon. Men! Or should I say.. Boys!

Hi zoe I mean victoria hope you feel a bit better soon, especially for the weekend! Flowers

spinning how are you lovely?

Fingers crossed for all you symptom spotters. Come on the BFPs!

CD 24 here, usually I would be due in three or four days but I OVd later I think so prob out a couple days. I am not symptom spotting- mainly because there are no symptoms to spot! Ha. I'm just willing time to go faster.. Which is silly. Not long to go now...! (Hurry up..)Grin

Sparkly123 · 12/03/2015 11:31

Purds I want a photo of Ndoll with her party hat on enjoying her cake! Grin

Sparkly123 · 12/03/2015 11:34

Purdey re your cm. That's confusing. Although.. Do you usually dip on day of OV? I get watery cm few days after OV(but as established, i am a mutant) so I don't know. I would keep AI either way!!

spinningirl10 · 12/03/2015 11:52

Sparkly, I don't have any symptoms either. Didn't take my temp this morning as I didn't sleep well and was woken up at 4am by that awful song 'let it snow!' Ds hadn't switched off the laptop properly and for some reason it sprang into life!
How's your Mum sparkly?

wotsits1 · 12/03/2015 11:53

Cake looks amazing purdey! Wish I was in chorley today!

DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 11:58

I'm on CD28 and have no symptoms either today. I have been doing opks since Dec but haven't had a hint of a positive. I haven't been temping as I don't sleep too well and would just be stressing over whether my temps are right

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 12/03/2015 12:07

Hey gals

Purds the cake looks amazing! Piping is really good too! Hope you treat yourself to a nice big slice!

Took another test this morning, BFN, of course it was... went to the loo about an hour ago and looks and feels like the beginning of AF. After inspecting and rooting about up there. Really thought it would be our month. Ah well.

Sparkly123 · 12/03/2015 12:10

DizzyMerry yep, I like temping solely because it tells us when OV has happened so when to stop AI, but most months I tend to watch them too closely and analyse why they are not high enough! Ha. I've tried to take a more relaxed approach this month, which I have to an extent.. It's only in these last few days before BFP due that I'm getting itchy feet. I really hope you get a positive test soon!!

Spinning sorry you are having trouble with the dd, hope it's all sorted soon. As for the dp- I know what I would havd done with his burger!! Wink

DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 12:24

With DD I didn't test until I was on cd42 as my cycle prior to that was 39 days. Also was fresh from the blow that my AMH levels were very low so didn't really feel I would be

kissinggiraffe · 12/03/2015 12:24

Lovely lovely cake purdey I love making cakes. I have a hungry caterpillar cake planned for my little ones second birthday in a couple of weeks.

Great birth horror stories too. I'm going to leave mine here for you all to see. Just to prepare you of course. Grin

Over 11 lb baby born in under 2 hours, literally ripped the area between vadge and bum completely meaning I had to be totally reconstructed. No pain relief. I was left with the vadge of a Virgin when healed tho so not all bad!
