Haha sadly I suspect they are and I was hoping they'd be late as I'm not due to ovulate til next week! Sods law!

DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 00:01

Sparkly I can no longer watch one born after my experience even though I am willing to go through it all again Confused. A couple of weeks before DD was born I kept getting calls from family members wishing me luck and telling me to have lots of gas and air. I did know it'd hurt but was unsure what the fuss was about. When I was taken to the labour ward I heard screaming and wondered what the fuss was about, well I ate my words big time! I am an introvert when it comes to pain so I didn't scream or shout but I knew then how naive I had been. I ended up with an epidural as it went on too long.
On the other hand my sister and sister in law push their babies out within 15-20 minutes Hmm
Sorry if that sounds grim but I am willing to do it all over again

DizzyMerry · 12/03/2015 00:05

Purdey I don't know what my AMH levels were at the time. I was too stunned to speak and don't even remember being given a number.

Mumof1sofar · 12/03/2015 05:39

Sparkly that 41yo lady had forceps but you wouldn't have known from the filming. I wouldn't want to scare any first timers with my story from dd1 but as someone else said, my advice is take the epidural!!!

Giddymamma · 12/03/2015 05:40

Ha! Sparkly, blooming love you! I'll wear it all day!

Sorry to those with af's. Next time chickies. Anyone testing soon? Fancy bringing it forward a day or two for those of us desperate to see a Bfp?!

Have a good day lovelies, off to be heroic again. Grin

PurdeyBirdie · 12/03/2015 07:59

Oooo, thanks for all the advice about loans! I have an excellent credit rating (I've rented a lot and have no debt).

Tessie, I'm sorry about crappy AF Sad

I just felt a veritable waterfall glooshing out of my clearly massive vagina. When I stuck my whole fist and forearm finger up it came out soaking. So, that's 'watery' cm. I had an almost-positive opk 48 hrs ago but a big dip in temps yesterday. Discombobulated. It can't be last night's sperm, can it? I tasted it and it wasn't spermy-chlorine at all. Plus, I had been up and about pottering for a good 45 minutes before the gloosh. Any ideas? I also got an almost-positive this morning but it was at 6.45, so likely to be a false positive, right?

Still catching up whilst trying to bake cake for Nancy & her boyfriend...

Juney!, the spermz are cummin...the spermz are cummin...!

I had a 17-hour labour (with, unbeknown to any of us, the umbilical cord wrapped twice around Nancy's neck; I could never have pushed her out myself) with an epidural that needed three anaesthetists and 1.5 hrs to get it in followed by 2 hours of pushing and ending in forceps. Never felt pain like it; it was as though something the size and weight of a wild boar was being dragged out of my splitting-in-two pelvis. Then I had a retained placenta (it snapped off as the doctor was pulling it out by hand) so I had to go to theatre for two hours to have it pulled out under another epidural and then my vadge sewn up. It had split right to my anus.

I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Omg that sounds like a horrific ordeal purdey! You poor thing!

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 08:32

Omg. Purdey. How do I undo? Control x....control x.....

I'm in a state of denial about that bit....

juneybean · 12/03/2015 08:36

Gahhhh cannot believe it these sperms will arrive less than 24 hours after leaving Denmark. Stupid sperms it's too soon! Piss off to Poland for a day!

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 08:39

How do the come Juney? Do you have to defrost em? Or are they from the refrigerator?

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 08:43

Sorry... Clueless and naive....

juneybean · 12/03/2015 08:47

Hehehe they come in liquid nitrogen which I'm hopeful will last til wed the site says 7 days but I was so nervous about them fucking off on an adventure again that I ordered them a earlier. Probably should have done Friday for Monday but ack!

Pretty sure it was still smoking after 8 days last time!

DizzyNorthernBird · 12/03/2015 08:47

Wow purdey your birthing story sure did wake me up there!

What is the big deal with forceps?

Do us first timers actually know what we're letting ourselves in for?!

I'm furious this morning. DP and I had a stupid argument yesterday afternoon. He went out for the evening and when he got home he went straight to bed without barely even saying hello. I've got up this morning and sat with him for half an hour without speaking to each other before he went to work. What a fucking child. He's never been like this before, he usually comes around after an hour or so. So fucking annoyed at him, have no idea what he's trying to achieve other than making himself look like an idiot because he certainly won't get his own way behaving like this. Angry

Rant over.

juneybean · 12/03/2015 08:49

Argh there no way I'm letting forceps anywhere near my foof!

nightandthelight · 12/03/2015 08:50

Sorry to hear of troubles with DH Dizzy! Flowers

Just googled exhaustion at 7dpo. Woke up in the night with stabbing pains (didn't last long) and today I feel completely wiped out. I know it must be in my head though, even if last night were implantation surely I wouldn't get symptoms this soon?!

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 08:56

Ooh. Liguid nitrogen....How hi tech!

Dizzy, sorry about dp. Boys are inherently silly. Perhaps he's feeling the ttc pressure. But being a bloke he's probably just bottled it up for a few weeks then cracked. My dh does this every so often. I try to tell him that's went I let the crazzy out little and often Smile

babsbunny · 12/03/2015 08:58

Night. Yey...I'll symptom spot with you.! Sound promising!

I'm trying to be ridiculously optimistic this month. Going to visualise it and it will happen....Wink
