Dizzy I will keep my fingers crossed for you - I am still in with a chance for December too except that DH is selfishly spending several nights away on business slap bang in the middle of my next fertile period! Dammit! Must think positive thoughts!! x x

Thats rubbish tessiegirl. Enjoy your Pringles and I hope that your headache eases soon.

fififolle · 11/03/2015 21:10

Juney I'd say Sunday to start peeing on digi sticks. The handle has some kind of memory so you'll need a couple of days run up. All the best with the AI.

loopylou1984 · 11/03/2015 21:10

Juney if prob start on Saturday if I were you. Do you have any cheapies? Xx

juneybean · 11/03/2015 21:12

Awww sorry tessie :(

babsbunny · 11/03/2015 21:13

Sorry for af tessie. Enjoy the PringlesFlowers

fififolle · 11/03/2015 21:16

I remember reading that they figure out what your normal levels are in order to more accurately predict your LH surge. That's why the instructions say to start testkng a few days earlier.

MarysPrayer · 11/03/2015 21:16

Hi all Smile Can someone move their bag of ttc paraphernalia so I can sit down? Grin

Just checking in really. cd18, 5dpo and the days are passing by so slowly. Good thing I have a hyper toddler and a job that I hate to keep me busy hey?!

Boo to all the unwelcome AFs and welcome to all the lovely newbies!

PurdeyBirdie · 11/03/2015 21:19

Spinning, I actually think there's very little chance of conceiving naturally after 44. That's my personal opinion. I would, however, keep trying beyond 45 for a sibling for Nancy. I really don't want her to be alone in her thirties when DH & I will be dead and my mum and dad will be long gone, too. My plan is to have IVF at Gennet in Prague. I would like this to happen, like, now but mum and dad are not playing ball re lobbing a bit of my inheritance my way. The main purpose of my seeking work after all this time is so that I can, in a few months time, perhaps persuade the bank to loan me £6k. Then I can go to Prague and get my twins baby.

Wotsits, yes! Chorley! Why the heck didn't you call round? All the power had blown in my gaff but we could all have huddled in your car with tea and Twirls Smile We could even have compared cervical mucus Grin

Evening all. Still finding it impossible to keep up with this thread, but just thought I'd pop on to send enormous un-mumsnetty hugs to BeanSprout. Flowers

I could have written all of your posts myself. In the past year, all of my close friends have had babies or got pregnant and all we've managed since last May is a cp followed by an ectopic which has rendered me less fertile Sad I feel like my life is permanently on hold, and that I'm stuck re-living the same old chapter whilst everyone else around me has moved on with their lives.

PurdeyBirdie · 11/03/2015 21:21

Banks aren't loaning money, says DH. Is that true? Sad

juneybean · 11/03/2015 21:21

Oh I didn't know that fifi thanks for the tip!

wotsits1 · 11/03/2015 21:24

Purdey Was dropping some stuff off at the Woodlands Centre on Southport Road?! I got a bit lost, to be honest. Felt like I was driving for ages without knowing where I was going then all of a sudden was, like, 'shit! I'm here!'. Slightly disappointed that someone didn't immediately proffer me a Chorley cake. Does that not happen? (and also... what is a Chorley cake?) If I am ever required to go again... we should grab a coffee!

juneybean · 11/03/2015 21:26

purds I just managed to get a credit card? not a loan in that sense of the word but money nonetheless.

wotsits1 · 11/03/2015 21:30

Purdey banks are loaning money. Esp amounts like £6k. They aren't very forthcoming with mortgages and ridiculous amounts, but £6K with 3 months payslips is perfectly reasonable. In fact, 6K is not unrealistic on a 'plastic loan'... a bank loan with similar terms to a credit card. You can make minimum payments to spread the cost or overpay to clear the debt sooner. They also come with 0% finance (or near as damn it!)

Sorry... that was really boring. I listen to a lot of financial ramblings in work. As you were.

wotsits1 · 11/03/2015 21:31

Where the heck did that fancy A appear from in my last post?!?!

spinningirl10 · 11/03/2015 21:39

I think you're probably right about natural conception after 44 purdey. Hence our decision. We may go to Prague or Czech. Waiting to see if there's any improvement on dps new and improved sperm.
I really hope you can find the money and get a little brother or sister for Nancy. Once you've been working for a couple of months it should be easier to get credit either though a loan or cc. Would your Mum not consider loaning rather than giving you the money?

Nomio230 · 11/03/2015 21:41

My Mum got a 6k loan 6 months ago to tart up her house, so I don't think it would be a problem. I think it depends on your credit rating.

Cariad, I really hope you get your BFP soon. You are always so encouraging to others, but seem to have bad luck yourself. Flowers

Marys, I am 5DPO too. The days are going very slowly at the minute.
