bean so sorry about how you are feeling. Vent away! I feel the same at times and try and push it all into perspective that it will happen, and that I will appreciate every second when it does., nothing worth having comes easy, bla bla... And for the most part that keeps me sane, but there are days where I feel envious everyone else basically did it once and got lucky. . But who knows, maybe that's just what they say. It will be worth the wait when you get your BFP.. And you WILL! I guess that's what we all need to keep at the forefront of our mind, we WILL all get our BFPs, there is always a way.. It WILL happen one way or another and it's comforting to know that.. It's just the waiting that's a bugger!

im 31, came off pill last feb and got down to business immediately but had to put it on hold for a few months due to dh working abroad last year. I think this is cycle 8 or possibly 9 of proper going for it, I know some of you have been trying much longer. I think I had a cp last cycle but apart from that, nothing.

im trying to keep in touch with friends, but another thing is I feel they have moved on with their families and im just plodding along still

bean we all feel the same. We love our friends dearly but we don't half wish that we could be the ones to get knocked up without even considering temps/ov sticks/TTC paraphernalia and it reeeally bugs when people get 'caught' when they aren't expecting it! Grrrrr!!!

malibu I also wanted to be a mum while I was 35, I've now missed that opportunity as I turn 36 in October. I also wanted to have given birth or be due to by Christmas because it would mean I could stick two fingers up to work because the annual leave is currently booked up for Christmas and I'm down to work it. I'm in with a chance for that aslong as I get lucky this month as I think edd would be xmas eve! It's funny how our minds work eh!

My mate is due in May, she got upduffed off the back of a drunken one night stand having tried unsuccessfully for ages with her ex and being told she was infertile! Her situation is far from ideal, but it just shows that we CAN get our BFPs against all odds sometimes

Purdey, as we're the same age, do you have a plan how long you will try for? Dp and I have said we'll try until Christmas......but what then?! I wouldn't go on the pill, in my head I can see us excepting things and moving on and then I get a bfp at 45!!! Don't know why I'm asking, just because I've been thinking about it myself I guess.

We now have a date for the funeral, April 11th I think it's so awful that there is such a back log that people are having to wait that long. It will be 5 weeks exactly on the day of the funeral. Been looking at trains to get there, bloody hell they're expensive!

What a long long wait until the funeral, exactly same situation as us in Jan. It's awful. But what can you do. It's almost like you have this little break in the grieving process.. Even though you still are, you are not moving anywhere.. There's always that focus on the funeral- so when you have to wait so long for it, it's so difficult.. As if the situation is not hard enough! Re the trying, would you consider IVF etc?
