Sparkly123 · 16/03/2015 20:04

Victoria we are your cheerleaders right Spinning ?!

Spinning any sign of AF yet? I have my HSG booked now for next Monday... Eeeek.

victoria401 · 16/03/2015 20:07

It starts off like IVF sparkly where you inject drugs to stimulate the ovaries but instead of getting as many eggs as possible to develop they only let you develop one (or 2 max, any more and they cancel the cycle). then you do a trigger injection to release the egg. 30ish hours later you go in at 8am, hubby produces a sample, they 'wash' it and then put back the forward moving ones (or some such) intra-uterine with a catheter. Then, like in IVF, they give you progesterone pesseries to poke up to maintain the lining. 2 weeks later, you test.

I think......

coffeenut · 17/03/2015 01:19

Hello everyone, I'll take one of those christmas babies too please. welcome over those from the March bus, I think this will be the one!

Glad things are moving for you southy, well done. And fingers and toes crossed for you victoria.

I need some help pretty please. I've been temping and charting this cycle for the first time and yesterday had a positive opk, ewcm and big dip in temperature. FF marked yest as the day I ovulated until I put in today's data - temp was back up, BUT I had ewcm and a positive opk. Could I have ov'd yesterday but still get a positive opk today? Or am I yet to ovulate?

nightandthelight · 17/03/2015 03:23

Hi ladies. After a very weird start (that gave me hope of implantation bleeding) AF has reared her ugly head so please can I join?

nightandthelight, 26, TTC 1, Cycle 2, BFP due 12/04

auroraboringalis · 17/03/2015 04:28

coffee I think keep dtd until you lose your ewcm. Ff sometimes reassesses a few days later and changes your ov date. I've not had Much experience but I have had two positive opks in the past (afternoons was same strength as control line, next mornings stronger than control line) so it is common.

auroraboringalis · 17/03/2015 04:29

Boo night Flowers

coffeenut · 17/03/2015 05:29

sorry night Sad

OKay thanks aurora, will keep dtd for a few more days! Was hoping to have a good idea of ov this cycle as I really don't want to test too early again (and get false positive or whatever it was last time). Hoping FF will put it back in when it works it out over the next few days! I had two mornings of strong positive OPKs - is that odd? Ie a long surge? Also had ovulation pain yesterday and day before but is gone today. Maybe this morning's positive OPK caught the end of the surge.

Going to try coffee free this cycle (started a few days ago)

loopylou1984 · 17/03/2015 06:43

Coffee - I've had 2 afternoons of positive opks but have now run out so can't test again! I think it's normal, that's while the cbdh detector leaves the solid smiley there for 2 days. Xx
