I'm annoyed - CB dual hormone opk was neg yesterday, straight to solid smiley today (1 day before I thought I was due to ov). We haven't dtd since Sunday. Anyone think we are still in with a chance if we dtd tonight??

Sweets I didn't get any 'high' days either straight to peak on Sunday. It must be quite normal. So we DTD twice Saturyday (for fun), missed Sunday as DP wasn't up for it, then DTD yesterday and will again this afternoon as I think I will ov today. I am only CD14 and last month ov'd cd18 so it's early for me too. We ov 12-48 hours after the peak and the egg lasts up to 24 hours and the faster swimmers can get there is 2 hours so I would dtd for the next 3 days to be sure.

Morning ladies! Just having a to wake up properly, I feel drugged this morning for some reason.

CD7 here, the last week has gone so quickly. I need to start temping again but hate the stress of waking up too early. I have also run out of Dual Hormone sticks and can't get them over here so will have to rely on ic's which I'm not 100% happy doing but never mind, at least I have some kind of opk to use!!

Thanks mummyofone. Its just odd for me as I'm on cycle 3 ttc and my last 2 cycles I had at least 3 flashing smileys before peak. Sounds like you have sorted out a really good dtd schedule - am impressed!

I wish we hadn't missed our first peak day but couldn't be helped really. Good luck to you too.

I posted my commiserations to you night and spinning on the March bus.. But on the upside this bus is going to bring us all Christmas Babas!!! New cycle time!!! oh and you have the luck of the Irish starting your cycle today!!

Good luck for everyone who is almost starting their TWW. You go over everything again and again and wonder if you did enough, the right days etc etc.. But you have to remember.. Some ladies get their BFP after only dtd once in their fertile period and not always on the peak day. Everyone here is so informed etc and dtd a lot more than that. Keep positive

Sparkly thanks for your kind words. I am obsessing over it already - was hurtful to DP this morning as I feel let down that we didn't DTD on Sunday and then he refused to wake up this monring to get on with it before work. I told him we have to try hard to get our baby and he quipped back that I didn't know the first thing about my cycles when I fell pg with DS with my ex (age 15). I spat back at him that I got pregnant because I had tonnes of sex all month long, more than once a day and that expecting it 3 days in a row which isn't much to ask. I felt terrible. He did bring me a cup of herbal tea in bed and he knows that I didn't mean it, I just want each month to be a full effort. If we are unlucky and get to 12-24 months I want to be able to say we put our full effort into TTC every single month. Just felt like such a bitch, he does get jealous thinking of me with other men before him.

mummy no I totally understand. You want to know you have put 100% in to each month so you have the best chance, I just think sometimes it's hard to know what 100% actually means.. Some people get preggers dtd every day some only a couple time times etc etc so how do we really know? If you have done the days around lovely you are in with a very good chance try and focus on that. It's easy to get frustrated with your dh I know, it sounds like the cup of tea means he does understand how you feel and doesn't take any snappy comments to heart.. Which is good. I'm the same .. I feel like our lives are planned meticulously around TTC the fertile week and if dh isn't around I'm sure I get snappy too. It's human nature.it must be difficult at times if you feel your dh is jealous over past relationships, I guess when you have your own little one together too and add to your family that he may mellow about these things a little? Just try your best to stay positive. I honestly don't know who chooses which month we all get our babies! Sometimes it seems like total luck. But today you have the luck of the Irish on your side ha ha

Sparkly I guess we don’t really know what is 100%! And there is no point obsessing I will be in my tww tomorrow and there is nothing I can do to change any of it! He knows how desperate I am to have #2 so didn’t take it to heart and has been sending me some lovely texts too. He doesn’t act out of jealously it is just the odd comment from him when he is feeling jealous. It used to be worse and we would have rows over it but he has mellowed somewhat. Hopefully he can move past it one day, it helps that DS’s birth father isn’t involved and calls DP Daddy anyway. I will stay positive, thank you! You always know just what to say

So sorry to see that AF has arrived for so many of you. I love the idea of us all getting April BFPs and Christmas baby's, makes me feel all teary. Just realised my BFP is due on Easter Monday much better than a regular Monday.

Mummy, sorry you're feeling frustrated. It can be hard at times not to take the frustrations out on your partner. I hope you can dtd tonight.

Victoria, how are you today? Has it sank in that it's all happening for you this month? I think I'm almost as excited for you as you must be

Just had to tell my senior that I will be going to appointments and he's just gone to see the big boss to make sure I don't have to take any annual leave. I'm sure the policy for leave is ivf only as you need time after egg collection. Couldn't be bothered to explain that I wasn't having ivf. I just said 'fertility treatment' and they made their own conclusions. I never knew there were other options until 12 months ago mind!

Victoria our policy here states ivf or fertility treatment I think, I hope you don't have to use annual leave.

Spinningirl thanks, he has text me to say he is working later than normal and he does a manual job so will be shattered tonight but still hoping to jump on him - we managed it yesterday so fx!

You have to get hold of the hr policies for your org. Ours are all stored on the intranet so it's wasy. Or ask HR, they can't tell anyone if you ask in confidence. Can just ask for annual leave police and the 'special' leave policy of they have one.

Dh's boss was being a git bag about him taking time off to come with me to appointments. Most appointments they like both of you to be there to make sure the decisions are joint and both parties understand what's been said. His boss was under the impression that the treatment was just me but both our names are on the correspondance. Its a couple thing, not just me, we need to support each other. Well this treatment I shall be going to everything alone apart from insemination day.

Just realised I lost my virginity on St Patrick's day

DH and I chatted about how stressed I am (TTC, work, moving house) and we have agreed to be uber relaxed. Have deleted my Ovia app and we are just going to dtd when we want to and see what happens. He informed me that he has a feeling that we will have a holiday baby and as we are going on holiday in May that isn't too bad (his feeling about us being successful this month was right so fx!)

I'm day 13 and waiting for a positive. Had ewcm last couple of days so have been dtd lots, but it seems to have gone today. Does this mean I should ovulate tomorrow? I am expecting too, just a shame about the cm!
