Got a bit of spotting but not full AF yet, looks like I need to reserve a space on the May bus. It was only cycle 1 so I wasn't expecting miracles but still a weeny bit gutted.

Onward and upward! FX and good luck vibes to everyone else.

So I thought the interview didn't go too great but just heard and they want me to go back for a second interview, feel a bit shocked!

Cd21 here and think I OV yesterday- dh home tonight and reallllyyyyy hoping we've not missed out this month :(

I had another BFN this morning followed by the start of a vicious AF so that's me out for April now! I feel like maybe it was a CP but I dunno - I had a phone call with my doctor scheduled for today anyway following the BFP where he let me know that I shouldn't be on the meds I'm on while trying to conceive - eek! Feeling quite let down that the doctors there have been very much aware that we're trying for the last 3 years but have continued to give me meds that I really shouldn't be taking. Ah well, at least we can sort it out now that somebody's noticed!

Roxy, I'm really sorry af arrived after the initial excitement with the line, that sucks also I'd be really pissed off that you've been prescribed meds for 3 years that aren't suitable when ttc!! Some doctors need a kick up the arse!!

Hopping on the April buzz as AF got me last night. Was expecting it but AF arriving a few days late does mess with the head a little...

My face! I can't feel my face! Just had a filling at the dentist and now my right cheek, tongue and even nose are all flubber dubber rubber!

Surprise surprise dh says he's feeling unwell in time for the dtd marathon and I'm positively dripping in cm! Tough sh*t I say. I can't remember the last time he wasn't unwell in some area or another. Given up giving him sympathy. Man bloody up!

Argh just tried to scratch my ear and I can't feel that either!

Ah Victoria! How long does the numb feeling last? I have never had a filling.... Does your DH say he is feeling ill around ov time every month? His sperm results were much improved though weren't they? You would think he would want to put them to good use!!

I have dp's sperm results
Morphology 5% which is ok I think, she said it should be greater than 4.5%
Motility 1.2 million, any thoughts on this please? Off to google!

Hey spinning did they give you any percentages for fast progressive motility etc? Is the 1.2million total motile count?

Lucie, no they didn't. I'm a bit fed up because Google talks in percentages so surely they should have given me that!! I seem to remember his total sperm count was 13 million.

Hmmm it could be that the 1.2 million motility they are talking about is the total motile count which if it is would be low. We have that problem. Are you able to call them to clarify as they haven't really given you much to go on there.

Right everyone, I'm taking heed if your advice and I'm heading home for a last ditch attempt. Spoke with DP on the phone earlier and we've made up. I'm making him a nice dinner so he better put out.

Just been trying to catch up on the train home, there's so much news so I'm afraid I'll have to give a generic 'sorry for af' for those who have it and 'hang on in there' to those who aren't sure!!

I think I'll have to Lucie but it's always an answerphone so I probably won't hear anything until tomorrow! I have read that bad morphology is the worst to have as that's harder to improve.

The important things you need to ask for spinning are the % of fast progressive sperm and also the total % of sperm motility.

Yea I don't know spinning, DH was diagnosed with low motility last August and has been on a concoction of vitamins ever since but as you know it hasn't worked for us. I'm not sure if his figures have improved at all as after his repeat test in October which was even worse he hasn't had another. Will be interesting to see if they can tell us in Prague.

Thanks Lucie, I've written that down so I'll ask when they phone, I've left a message. If motility is bad then it must help to use preseed or similar? Also I was pregnant at the end of 2013 so it is possible although maybe they would say that's why I mc'd. If the next sperm results are bad we will seriously be thinking about ivf.
How are you feeling Lucie? Have you started on your meds yet? When do you go?

They will never tell you it's impossible to get pregnant if motility is low as at the end of the day it only takes one good sperm but the chances are lot lower than normal and it is hard. I don't think preseed etc does a lot to help. I think that is more beneficial if you don't have a lot of cm.

I am ok thanks just wishing away time at the moment though so I can get started. I have my endo scratch on Tuesday eeek and then I just have to wait for af to arrive which should be 6 days later and I can start injections. I have a big box of medication sat in the lounge which looked a little scary at first but think I have kind of got to grips with what I need to do now. I start on cd2 and then will be heading to CZ on cd12 so not long now!!!

Oh and it wouldn't hurt to ask for the volume of the sample as well spinning as can make other calculations then.

Ooh goodness it's all happening for you now! Good luck with the endo scratch. I'm sure the meds are daunting to begin with, I think the whole ivf thing is hard to get your head round. There seems so much to know, especially when you go abroad and everything needs to be so well timed. It's very exciting though and you know that this cycle is the best chance you've had at getting that bfp. I'm just keeping fx it results in your bfp
