Massive hugs to those ladies who have lost, I can't imagine your pain Flowers

I'm feeling optimistic currently and can't wait to start dtd! Very unlike me! Only cd5 tho and still spotting I think there is something in the spring air! I even had a rudey sex dream last night!

wotsits1 · 20/03/2015 23:30

Hello all!! Sorry I aint been here much. I'm still lurking on thearch bus watching all the BFPs pop up. I reckon we can top their massive total of march bfps though next month. What you reckon girls? Grin

DizzyMerry · 20/03/2015 23:34

Absolutely wotsits this bus will be full of bfps, I just know it. All the luck will spill over from the March bus Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/03/2015 23:53

Just remember. Us beginning of the month ladies.......wemade the march bus.

coffeenut · 21/03/2015 00:12

This is deffo a lucky bus. I am feeling very positive and no idea why!

Very excited also because FF has put in my crosshairs and reckons that I ov'd on Wednesday so that makes me 3dpo! I may test at 10dpo, so that's only a week away!

victoria you made me laugh with your rudey sex dream. Oohlala. I usually only get those pre ovulation!

I'm really sorry for those who have had recent miscarriages. The pain does get easier to deal with but I know my first pregnancy post MC was an anxious one, particularly in the first 12 weeks.

Oh and whomever mentioned the leakage issues, yes absolutely. Legs in the air for a couple of mins afterwards stops a lot of it.

DizzyNorthernBird · 21/03/2015 00:17

Well I've just discovered something very interesting.

As some of you are aware I've been somewhat puzzled about my temp chart. As you can see the temps are very steady, with not much differentiation between pre and post ov.

I've just been playing around with my chart settings, and I switched it over to degrees centigrade instead of Celsius. All of a sudden my chart looks a bit more normal!! So I've googled thermal shift in Celsius, and apparently its normal for a rise in Celsius to be as little as 0.1!

I am normal after all! I haven't got low progesterone or thyroidyisms! Phew!

DizzyNorthernBird · 21/03/2015 00:20

Same chart in Fahrenheit (not centigrade like I said above) for comparison!

DizzyNorthernBird · 21/03/2015 00:23

Sorry if above post was insensitive to anyone that does have low p or thyroid issues... I've just been racking my brains for weeks as to why my temp pattern looked like it did. It's been doing my head in, all it needed was to tweak bloody app settings.

coffeenut · 21/03/2015 00:29

wow! Lots of exclamation marks in that last post!! Obvs very excited!!!! Hmm Grin

coffeenut · 21/03/2015 00:32

dizzy I don't think you sounded insensitive - I think it's great that you figured out the issue! This whole thing can eff with your mind, for sure.

coffeenut · 21/03/2015 00:33

(and obviously meant lots of exclamation marks in my last post, not yours dizzy - it hadn't updated with your comments when I posted sorry!)

Sparkly123 · 21/03/2015 00:39

Sorry to All who have suffered a loss Flowers I had a very early mc In January and I feel the only way to move on for myself is to keep trying.. And get myself a BFP. Now!!!

melon everything crossed for you this month lovely. Flowers

I think this is going to be an extra special springtime bus!! And it's easter time too.. Miracles galore! We are in for a shed load of BFPs girls!!
Glad so many of us feeling positive this cycle! Victoria I have never heard you so raring to go!! This is great lovely!!... Flowers

Dizzy the chart. Shock you are not a mutant after all.. Take a bow! Grin

Sparkly123 · 21/03/2015 00:39

Leakage- yes . Always. Hmm not a fan.

Illiria · 21/03/2015 03:30
Illiria, 32, ttc #1, Cycle 13, BFP due: 12th April

TMI notice Re: leakage, I think I should take shares in tissue companies the amount we get through post dtd.

In the US so we have to pay for treatment.

My OBGYN has referred me for tests. I can't tell if it is with another obgyn or the fertility centre for my health care provider but either way I think we have to pay 50%. My insurance doesn't cover IVF so at best we can be offered IUI.

Two of my friends have recently had babies, both had been trying ages. One 2 years and the other 4 years. The one who had been trying for four years had had 8 miscarriages in that time. I have no idea how she coped.

coffeenut · 21/03/2015 04:52

8 miscarriages in 4 years Sad That's awful. Glad it had a happy ending for her (for both of them!).

Sorry you have to pay for treatment Illiria Sad. 50% sounds quite expensive. I'm in Aus and we get a percentage of our medical costs covered but not all by the government. Fertility treatments here are quite expensive from what I understand (I know a friend who saved money enough for either a house deposit or IVf treatment!).

wotsits1 · 21/03/2015 07:57

omg 8 miscarriages. That's awful.

I had a mmc before I had dd. It was heartbreaking... but if I'd had that baby i wouldnt have dd. It took 3 cycles after that to get my bfp.

The NHS were fab. They sent me to the early preg clinic on weeks 6, 8 and 10 to have early scans to put my mind at ease. Then obvs had my 12 week scan.

CD14 here but all is boring as I only ov on CD18.,

wotsits1 · 21/03/2015 08:00

How awful that you have to pay Illiria. Is it very expensive? I never understand the US health system. Would Obamacare not cover expenses a la the NHS?

My family are from Texas so they're constantly confusing me. My cousins insurance only covered her for one scan when she was pregnant. I don't understand how she coped waiting until 18 weeks for her first scan!!

Southy84 · 21/03/2015 08:21

Good news about the chart dizzy I hope treatment isn't too expensive illiria, i have found out so many new things being on these buses and so many of you have been through/are going through tough times, agree with wotsits this is going to be a good bus with lots of BFPs feeling positive :)

melon hope you're ok Flowers

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 21/03/2015 09:15

mumof1 I have short cycles and I ususally start using them on day 8/9.
My cm seems to have returned to normal and even looks a bit like EW today CD 13 so Ov is likely soon.
Hope everyone has a good weekend

MelonMelon · 21/03/2015 09:22

Thank you you all for being so lovely Smile still no smiley face this morning. I know the packaging says you can do them in the morning but I'm considering changing to afternoon. Thoughts?

DizzyMerry · 21/03/2015 09:49

8 miscarriages is is beyond vile illiria glad your friend has now got her baby. Great outcomes for both of them.
Sorry to everyone who has had to go through the pain of a loss Flowers
melon the advice I got from this and the March bus was check twice a day, once around 2pm and around 8pm as the surge is at it's peak from late mornings to evenings. Spinning said she checks at 11pm and 5pm. This suits me better and I started testing yesterday at cd8. What cd are you on?

MelonMelon · 21/03/2015 09:53

CD15 here. Is it worth doing another today or should I wait until tomorrow evening now? We've dtd already so is just for my peace of mind!

DizzyNorthernBird · 21/03/2015 09:56

I always find the US healthcare baffling. Then you hear these stories about people having accidents and being left with massive hospital bills, how is that fair? We often moan about the state of the nhs but we should think ourselves lucky.

How soul destroying having 8 miscarriages. But she kept fighting and eventually got her baby. There's hope for all of us, no matter how difficult our journeys.

Got my first show of proper wet ewcm last night. Now I'm torn between commencing shaggathon vs my plan of holding out til ov.....! We dtd yesterday for fun so if we start baby making now DP will be bored by Monday which might still be a tad too early. Ugh! Tactics!

Lol coffee you would have been forgiven if you were talking about my exclamation marks, I was very excited Grin

wotsits1 · 21/03/2015 09:58

Melon are you doing clear blue dual hormone or just the clear blue ov tests (with the pink lid).

Last cycle I'd used 6 tests before I got a solid smiley face. I ov on cd18. Annoying though.

I nipped into home bargains and bought their cheaply ov tests (£2.99 for 5) coz I didn't have time to order online. I did the clear blue in a morning and the cheapys straight after work at 6pm.

On the 6th day I had no cb smily in the morning but got a pos cheapy at tea time. I got the pos clearblue the next morning. The cheapys gave me a heads up and if I'd only had a short surge then I could've missed it on the clearblues!

Southy84 · 21/03/2015 09:58

Are you using the digital clearblue ones melon? I use them and do them in the morning too, I got a flashy smiley cd17 last month and a static smiley cd18, the only day I tested differently was cd17 and that's because the morning one errored.... Got my flashy smiley at 6pm that day. I'm cd16 today still no smiley for me but hoping it will be the same as last month (this is my second month of using them)
