Dizzy wondering the same thing. Only due to ov next Weds but things are getting 'wetter' down there. No stretchy stuff yet really though and I've done opks and no positive. Told dh I will have his services tonight, and then will go at it from Tues.

Nowt like planning your week eh?

wotsits1 · 21/03/2015 10:06

Has anyone ever done the SMEP to the letter? I'm quite concerned that by the time I ov'd I would have spent all of dh swimmers!!! It seems like an awful lot of DTD before you actually ov?

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 21/03/2015 10:16

Not me wotsits too old DH couldn't cope with it so just have to go with a few times leading up to ov and hope we get lucky sometime.
I forgot found these the ther day.
This bus is got to be lucky, the planets have aligned and everything.

MelonMelon · 21/03/2015 10:26

Yes its the pink clear blue ov tests (not the dual hormone) that's really interesting thanks ladies! I used the cheapies in January and drove myself mad comparing lines....naively thought the digital ones would be less stressful!

DizzyMerry · 21/03/2015 10:53

wotsits I will be doing the SMEP method this cycle but starting today at cd9. I wouldn't worry about there not being enough swimmers but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along with advice
purple I want some NOW!!! I love creme eggs and would equally love those biscuits but haven't come across them. Where did you find them?
melon it is very stressful. I haven't had a smile since using opks for a couple of months. I'm hoping I've been using them at the wrong times and missing my surge. Will be testing twice a day now and have day 21 blood tests this cycle so will know either way

roobanya · 21/03/2015 10:56

Thanks mummy for the advice - opks have been ordered! DH is still quite excited about dtd as it's the first month we're "properly" trying (he doesn't seem to have twigged that I've been making sure we dtd at appropriate times!) so I think we may as well go for it from now and hope for the best. My cycle varies from 25-30 days so I can't tell if my lp is always only 10 days as I've only temped for one month so far. I'll keep an eye on it though.

Thanks everyone else for the welcomes and wishing you all a good weekend Smile

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 21/03/2015 11:15

Just done a opk as i'll be out later and it's a + and wasn't even a very contrated pee. So hopefully fx have timed it well this month. Now to see when ff thinks I ov. And then to the tww.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 21/03/2015 11:26

merry they were in the Easter egg aisle in Tesco.

DizzyNorthernBird · 21/03/2015 12:53

purple I need those in my life! sugar free diet goes out of the window

tessiegirl · 21/03/2015 13:07

Hello all!!

OMG!! I am so excited at those creme egg biscuits - will have to buy some when I am back in the UK for sure!! Smile

Lots of talk about opks...they are confusing, aren't they? I have run out of CB Dual Hormone opks this month so have to rely on internet cheapies Confused wish me luck comparing lines obsessively!! Going to be testing at least twice a day, maybe three times.

Just waiting patiently for DH to start watching the rugby and I can make his birthday cake!! First time I am actually looking forward to rugby starting!! Smile

cremedecacao · 21/03/2015 13:39

See I am not a Creme Egg fan... I've just been stuffing my face with hot cross buns instead!

Who is in the TWW already? Bored, bored bored and only 3dpo!

Quick question re exercise in the TWW- should I go to they gym or not? I am being super careful to not jeopardise anything this month. Only 1 drink a week, 1 caffeinated drink a week, eating lots of implantation-friendly things and even trying not to have hot baths JUST IN CASE. Am I crazy? I did all of these things for the last two cycles and clearly I am not pregnant, so thought I'd up the ante a bit. Waste of time?

wotsits1 · 21/03/2015 14:28

creme I think if it gets you your bfp then it will be worth it. I plan on moderate exercise for my next tww. Maybe yoga but no step class.

What are these her implantation friendly foods you speak of?

cremedecacao · 21/03/2015 15:01

Ok, I'll skip gym but go to my yoga class ?? I've heard Brazil nuts and pineapple juice are good, as well as warming foods like soups and curries. Anyone know any others?

cremedecacao · 21/03/2015 15:02

Oops, my previous post was meant to say one caffeinated drink a day! I'm not that much of a saint!

DizzyNorthernBird · 21/03/2015 15:52

creme I've read that exercise doesn't affect implantation. I would say business as normal, if the egg wants to stick, it will stick regardless of what is going on outside. Just do whatever you'd usually do.

auroraboringalis · 21/03/2015 16:04

Arvo all! No news, just lurking, saying hallo and that sort of thing. Good luck to any shaggers tonight. May the force be with your eggies!

Mumof1sofar · 21/03/2015 16:43

Thanks for all the opk info. Cheapy ones from amazon ordered Smile

I'm on cd4 but having the weirdest af! The first day I got it was super light - barely there, just very dark spotting. Obviously I got my hopes up that it was implantation. Then the 2nd day was like normal af. Then the 3rd & 4th days it has stopped & started but just very light & most of the time barely there. Ugh the tricks our bodies play on us! Anyway I just want it out of the way now so I can get on with dtd Smile

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

nightandthelight · 21/03/2015 16:50

Feeling the same Mum my AF has followed a very similar course. Think it will finish today though :) want to get on with making a baby!

wotsits1 · 21/03/2015 17:23

I'm allergic to pineapple but shall be devouring Brazil nuts and soup throughout my 2ww! Can the nuta be chocolate coated Wink

Riceicle1 · 21/03/2015 17:32

Sorry I haven't posted for ages,I'm taking a back seat this month. Dh away and I'm sat here all alone with lots of ewm, kinda like being all dressed up with no where to go! Just booked a girlie weekend away for the end of May (wondering if it will evoke the law of sod?!)

Mumof1sofar · 21/03/2015 17:34

Night it's so hard isn't it as it just makes you keep hoping! Let's hope this month is lucky for us both Smile

MelonMelon · 21/03/2015 17:36

Brazil nuts excellent for DH too! Full of zinc and selenium for his swimmers. Thank god aldi sell huge bags for pennies as I've been chomping dozens this month!

nightandthelight · 21/03/2015 18:02

Fx Mum! Am going to throw myself into it dtd wise and assume that any time could be the one as I don't chart or anything :)

victoria401 · 21/03/2015 18:42

I don't change my exercise regeime for the 2ww, don't really do anything too strenuous though, Zumba, bums and tums...

Got funny stuff coming out of foof today, tmi! Really dark almost a blacky-green and stringy. Dont like the look of it much... Doesn't smell or anything yup brought the loo paper up to my nose kinda got abdo pain too but don't know, or can't decide if its uterus or guts. Sigh :-( cd5 by the way.

Mumof1sofar · 21/03/2015 19:48

Night I don't chart either. Was thinking of using opk this month though. Also think we will aim to dtd eod so we definitely catch it. Last month we only did it 5 times in total!
